Hana is truly relieved to see Onsei calm down. She tries to not question how quickly he changed, and she squeals a bit as she's suddenly swept up by the demon. As the others dissapear, a dark realization appears in her mind. Could it be he's thinking they're going to do.... THAT? She certainly hopes now, and tenses just at the thought that's now in her mind. Still, as if to diffuse her own new tension, she lifts a hand and pokes his cheek. "You certainly changed moods all to quickly," she mutters, expecting him to change back to rage or irritation now that she's brought it up. He's away from the others at least, so if he does he won't take it out so much or will vent it onto her and not her comrades. She gasps as she's dropped onto her bed, not at all expecting it, and she scrambles somewhat wide eyed. Once she sees she won't by chance get hurt further, she relaxes under the covers on the bed. "Long day, indeed. And plenty eventful. I do think all the days will be long. And I hope they are considering our time limit. Let them all be as long as possible!" She rolls onto her side so she faces him. She'd roll the other way, but she'd end up on her injured side. "G'night, my dear," she teases. Her knees bend up so she looks like she's a simple ball of a person before closing those golden eyes.
Illya is truly relieved to see Onsei diffused. Hana isn't completely dense as Illya had suspected, she observes. Still, she says nothing until Onsei and the "princess" are gone. She then looks to Midir as he explains his power somewhat more. She smirks at him. "I suppose it's truly fitting those who can control are gods," she teases. Still, she watches the others head off to bed. Aelita is led away by Sora, and Maek heads off with little Ainslin, acting as somewhat a distraction from the negative reaction from Onsei. She waits until they're gone, and then she gives Midir a soft smile. There's no mischief hidden in the smile for once. No, she merely is giving a friendly gesture. "I suppose I shall sleep as well, then," she says as she got up. A hand is placed on his shoulder as she passed around him before heading to the last room. She says over her shoulder, "I suppose that leaves the last bed for you though. Just don't make much noise since I'll be asleep, my dear Mistah Bartender." She winks before turning the corner and finding her own room.'she claims the one bed not yet shimmering with moonlight. It'll pass over her in the night. Moonlight can ensure the fairy is extra rested for their future travels. She crawls onto the bed and sleeps.
Malek frowns as he, too, is comfortable with the amount of people able to completely dominate others. It's truly terrifying they could remove all sense of control and impress their wills upon their bodies as such. He won't say anything, though. Illya meant no harm in her prank, and Midir and Onsei seem the type to not control their own comrades with out good reason. He'll take comfort in that for now. His gaze turns to Ainlin as she decides to turn in and asks to room with him. He wouldn't dare turn a pretty girl's request down. So, he says to her, "That sounds like a fine idea." He stands up then, and he waves the others goodnight before walking with her to their room. To his relief, there were in fact two beds instead of one. It won't be so awkward then. He claims one bed rather quickly, "let's get good rest so we can be bright and awake on our first day out of this place." He smiles before stretching out over his bed. He realizes that his feet are right at the edge of the bed then as his feet stretch down just enough so he feels them hanging off the edge until he no longer stretches.
Aelita is pretty well gone as tired as she is. She accepts his help to get up, muttering a soft thanks to him. She uses his arm once again to keep from eking like a drunkard as she would likely stumble and trip her way towards the room. With him being used for stability, she doesn't trip and stumble nearly as bad. She could care less which bed is hers besides which one is physically closer to her. She finally lets go of her hug on his arm. The faebldes are set on the wall beside the closest bed, and she falls onto it immidiafely after. She's asleep as is, sprawled over the sheets and not at all adjusted so she's resting on pillows or under sheets. Being unused to heavy travel and desert heat, now that night has come, she notes deliriously that she's never been so exhausted. She'll get used to it eventually, but it's not now: "goodnight, Sora," she almost purrs in her half-sleep state just before completely blocking out.

Onsei recognizes the tenseness in the elementress' body, but he pays it little to no mind at all. For once he has no intention to tease her in such a way. He raises a brow at the cheek poke but none the less smiles in a care free way. "Did I really? You might be thinking incorrectly Princess. I'd say it took me quite some time to calm down," no trace of the rage before appears on his visage despite her casual prompt of the matter. In fact, it's as though it never happened to him in the first place. He watches from the corner of his eye as the girl he just dumped on the bed rolls to face him, curling up into a tiny little ball of flesh and silent violence. "Good night your Highness. Do have dreams only a Princess of your caliber would dream of". He watches as her eyes flit closed and a sleeping expression covers her face in place of the annoyance that's usually there when she's near him. He notes that she has to be truly tired to not yell at him for carrying her let alone touching her this time around. He hopes that spark comes back, and that she isn't going to be so kind to him just because he's her teacher now. Because if she does go soft, man is she in for a beating. None the less he closes his eyes that seem to glow in the dark, not even bothering with blankets nor caring about the fact that he's diagonal across the bed with his feet at the pillows and his head at the foot of the bed. Instead he worries about asleep, silently agreeing with the now sleeping Hana that the days should last longer than they seem. The next morning hits him swiftly but not surprisingly. He wakes up and showers for the morning before getting dressed and meeting up with everyone else. And once they're on the road again, he is silent and focused on the path before them. It's not until they hit the next town that he really speaks up. "This place is a shithole," he says without a care that those on the streets glare at him with death in their eyes. He has his reasons for saying these words. Mainly because they're true.
"Only if you think it to be fitting as such," Midir shrugs off her statement. He honestly doesn't see the point of such words. So what if three of them that are soon to be gods can control people to such extent? Such power has nothing to do with recreating a world completely, seeing as it has only to do with controlling the elements and such, not with the people themselves. But he digresses. As Illya offers him such a smile with nothing but casual friendliness to him, he raises a brow. What? Does she feel a bit closer to him? It's possible; the same could be the same for him. Never the less, he nods and assures, "You won't hear me.....But if you do, promise you won't turn me into a puppet". His own way of lightly teasing the fairy woman. Though everyone else has gone to sleep, he stays up into the darkest hours of the night, going so far as to go for a walk and simply enjoy the dry desert air that he won't come into contact with for quite some time if not ever again. He stares up at the sky, golden brown eyes scanning its falseness as well as the stars that are only made of ones and zeros to the finest degree. How amazing only two numbers in different sequences can make such a realistic world. Then again, what is realistic any more? Eventually he tires of his walking and pondering, deciding that 'sleep' would be a good thing to have. So he opts for going to his and Illya's shared room, silent as silent can be, and slips into bed before closing his eyes and wishing the time to pass by faster. Morning is monotone for him, seeing as all he does is get up, shower and find some food. With my guys intending to move on right ahead, he walks through the desert with little issue being used to the heat as always. Half away through they day however they hit grasslands and forests, the green of the lands a sight for sore eyes. He notes that the land they walk through is actually mostly forest as compared to simple flat plains or something of the sort. However by mid afternoon they do come upon a town. It really is pathetic to see let alone walk through. The houses are broken down with falling roofs and half walls sheltering them. The roads, despite being made of cobblestone and dirt, have large pot holes in them that seem to have been there for quite some time. And despite the children running around with laughter in their throats and in their eyes, suffering is clear in their gazes as well. This is a town of poverty. His eyes drift to the young half demon upon hearing her question, having an answer that may help. "We're looking for any sign of one of the two things we have to do in order to open the portal to the real world. Anything that seems outrageous or impossible to do really. The job could issue between curing an unknown disease to simply feeding a farmer's cow. Unfortunately that's all we have to work with".
Aislin is highly pleased that Malek doesn't turn down her request to bunk with him. She doesn't know why, but she's just plain happy to share a room with the friendly brute. Never the less she follows him up to their claimed room and takes the bed that he doesn't, instantly curling up into a ball high against the pillows with the blankets covering her up to her chin. They are still in the desert so the nights are cold to a young woman who grew up in a forested area. "That sounds like a great idea," she agrees closing her eyes after a wide yawn, "Sweet dreams Malek," she yawns out again before falling into dream world, her ears drooping and her tail relaxing completely. As she sleeps with her mouth open, lightly snoring, a fang pops out from under her upper lip, harmless for the time being. She feels widely refreshed upon waking up the next morning, however she's one of the last to do so. Such a long day of traveling and bathing in oasis water was hard work to her apparently. Plus there was the turn out of last night's 'fun' though she won't dwell on that thought. She smiles when she realizes that Onsei seems perfectly normal today, though she barely manages to order and pay for a fast simple breakfast before the others are headed out the door for their random destination. She's beyond happy to see the forest again once they're out of the desert. She had been so happy, that when sand started to turn to grass and trees tall as sin, she began to get antsy. And when the sand completely disappeared, she was filled with glee. Even better, they haven't run into monsters recently. Is that because the world is falling apart? Or have they just been lucky? Seeing the town makes her sad and feel pity for the people living there. Their clothing is horribly dirty and made of scraps. She's never seen such thick poverty. Wanting to think of different things, she looks to Midir, whom seems to have all the answers, and questions, "So....What are we looking for?" The answer is rather vague but she supposes she understands it well enough. "So...We could have to save this place?" Midir's nod puts slight hope in her heart. Maybe they do have to save this place. Even if they don't, could it hurt to try and help?
Sora doesn't mind supporting Aelita all the way to their room so that she doesn't face plant like some sort of drunken woman. He hadn't realized that she was so unused to all the traveling they've been doing. Being all he really knows other than fight in this game, he hasn't really been pushed to exert himself just yet in terms of moving from place to place. What kind of mercenary would he be if he didn't follow the money? Needless to say, he finds her exhaustion somewhat funny. "Good night," he whispers to the human woman as she hits the bed basically asleep, and lets her relax fully before pulling off her shoes, putting her under the covers and tucking her in. The then turns and decides that a shower is due, which is what he does before crawling under the covers in his boxers alone and falling asleep. He is the first person over all to wake up bright and early with the rise of the sun. Once awake, he dresses swiftly and sets to having a fairly decent breakfast, not knowing when or where they'll be eating their next meal. The travel through what's left of the desert doesn't do much to him but he's still happy to see so much green when they make it to the new region. He was getting tired of the yellow-tan terrain of the sandy dunes that are now behind him. He laughs at Aislin's excitement about lively nature. However upon making it to the run town village, he forces himself to become at least somewhat indifferent. He's seen plenty of towns like this one, suffering with little to no chance of pulling itself out of the grave so to speak. "If we're supposed to help them," he points out, "I wouldn't be surprised if it has to do with the fact that the river that they probably thrived on is dried up". Indeed, upon passing into the village he did see a river not too far away dry as a bone in the desert they were just in. "We'd have to find the reason why it's dry and take care of it". But it's not certain that such a task is one of the trials they have to pass in order to open the portal.

"You do understand that I'm no real princess, right?" She mutters, her voice a sultry haze of slumber. The comfortable bed gave her a well-needed rest that she hasn't had in far too long. Dawn doesn't occur until after she's awake. The nice, long rest allows her to pop up and scurry about with a swift morning routine. She showers to get clean while she may. Her hair is pulled into a French braid while still dripping like liquid gold. She dresses and heads out to eat. By now, Sora would be there at the very least, I'd imagine. Whoever is there is met with a casual "hello" before she acquires her own breakfast. It's hearty, but it won't make her feel nauseous in the sun. She's sure to stash as much water as is comfortable to carry, and her goods are all checked before heading out. She doesn't say much, but her high mood is obvious as she trots along the desert sands with mere curiosity at anything that should appear, be it a rock or an animal, or a person. Under her breath, she at one point hums tunes of songs shes heard so far in her life. The heat is harsh, but Hana isn't all that phased. Occasionally, she practices her control. Sand would swirl around her hand. Wind would bend and swirl around them. Much like before, she'd pull water at one point just before hitting grass so the others may enjoy some water should the heat be too much. Once they reach the town, she glances at Onsei. "There's surely a reason for it," she observes. The river bed has her curious. "Well, it would be best to follow it where upstream would be," she Says. She observes for signs of whethering, looking to see if the dirt would tell which way was upstream. Unfortunately, as realistic as this game world is, surely they didn't think of such a detail as that. Not well enough to show marks that indicate direction. "Perhaps we should split up. Go opposite ways. We can meet back here before sunset if we don't find anything."
Illya heard what he said, but she decided to leave it be. Even the mighty fairy felt she could use a rest after a long day's journey in the desert. Well, more like she wanted to sleep while she still could in comfort. The inn certainly isn't a bad one, she observes as she slides into bed. Her eyes close, and she sleeps rather restlessly through the night. Despite that, she isn't too tired when the first morning light shines on her. The light of the moon was plenty for a recharge, so she will do well today. The fairy rises and stretches her arms to the sky. While asleep, she did lose hold of her hidden wings, so they shimmer in the morning rays feintly much like a dew-covered web. She doesn't bother to hide them either while they ate. She opted for hot tea and fresh produce not always available on the road. A cheery "Good morning" is given between bites to her comrades as they awoke. Once ready to go, her wings dissapear once more. She didn't care for them having much sunlight exposure. She chats, unlike Hana, as she wants to make the time go by. She creates games, giving riddles for them all to solve. Many were near impossible since answers were exclusive to her home. Others were made up on the spot. Some were simple, and some were eloquent and elaborate. She is pleased to seethe green and forest so soon, as even she had expected longer in the desert. Surely their silly human female companion is pleased. Still, in the village, she seems completely calm about the situation of the village. She even somewhat goes with Onsei as she says lightly, "Poor dears." Though, it's concerning, she coldly assumes that aside from a potential trial, they were better off waiting until the group could accomplish their very goals. The river was indeed concerning, though. It seems like something that could come easy to the elemental demoness, but the source may not always be so natural to solve. She looks both ways, seeing no immediate sign for blockage. It's not a drought since the trees and grass are as green as ever. "Perhaps Midir and I could investigate," she offers, not at all worried about volunteering the Angel. "Flying is much faster, And we'll be able to see farther."
Malek was not fully into deep sleep when he heard a strange noise coming from inside the room. At first, he worried it was an enemy. He shot upright and looked around for signs of an intruder, but he learns it's merely the snores of his room mate. He almost busted out laughing, but he knew he'd be in a world of hurt even from her should be do so. At least she's comfortable, he muses before laying back down. It wasn't easy to drift off gain after that small scare, as he had to calm his alert body and coax it into resting despite the thought of intruders being in his mind. Despite the rocky sleep, the nice bed left him with out the need to feel sleepy when it came time to get up. As he saw the sky getting lighter, he stayed in bed only 30 minutes or so. He watched as light slowly crept into the room, changing the details of the ceiling over head with a fresh, brighter view. So long as no one came knocking to rush him out, he was content to contemplate life there. Still, he eventually rises. He's second to last of my troop, followed a good thirty minutes by our beloved human girl. He eats and follows the others out. The heat felt good to him unlike the others. Now that he's had time, it truly feels nice to have its warmth on his face to keep him awake and moving. At the village, he's at a loss as far as the river is concerned. Hana at the very least is more familiar with nature in general than he. Unless there's a damn to smash or a log to drag, he's really not suited to this himself. "Flying up might be a good idea first," he said. If they can spot something with out splitting up, it would truly be the better solution.
Aelita woke up from her deep, energizing slumber to find herself tucked into bed. She was deliriously tired before, so she only vaguely remembers Sora tucking her in. The foggy memories are mulled over as she finally gets up and does all the basics to get ready for the day. The desert morning was still somewhat chilled, so she was thankful for it. She orders a quick, filling meal along with water once she met up with the others outside the room. It was good sleep, but she still felt somewhat like she'd like another 24 hours of rest before setting out. It's unreasonable of course. She'll wake up soon enough as they start walking. It's as miserable as before until they reach the forest, but Aelita's rest gave her the energy needed to finish the trudge through the desert with out more than a little fatigue on her part. It was just miserable from the heat. As she cooled under the trees, she became much livelier. She makes to talk about random things with Sora, walking confidently beside him. In the village, she's likely the most sympathetic of my group. The river being dried up surely is bad news, and she frowns. "We won't know until we help, and I personally would rather not miss an opportunity before us," she tells the others as they weigh the options of taking on restoring the river.

"I knew from the moment I met you that you weren't a princess," he allows blandly, "But instead some snobby little girl". While walking, he is one of the few to actually converse with Illya and humor her as she offers riddles and questions from both simple to complex and either generic or exclusive to where she comes from. He laughs every now and then at the answers given when he can't figure out the answer, interested to figure out the fairy a bit more. It's as though last night never happened. Honestly he doesn't completely recall the anger he felt the night before. Not unless he actually tried to remember it. Needless to say, he's in a good mood. At the mention of investigating what's wrong with this place, he scoffs. There is a hopeful glint to the gazes that stare at the group as they stand in the middle of the battered street. None of them feel or even smell demonic; idiots are just waiting for a group of heroes, aren't they. And by the sound of things, they're going to get what they want from his posse. Whatever, if they want to play hero, then fine. He doesn't mind possibly fixing an issue through simply curing the issue of a tried up river. Not that that can actually be the only reason. He sees no signs of them actually thriving off of the river other than using it for drinking- though they've probably somewhat solved the issue in that case with wells- and bathing which again can be temporarily fixed by using wells as a source of water. There are no boats or fishing nets, and really the river is too small for the village to thrive on such an art. So regardless of what they do to the river, the poverty won't be fixed unless the find the real source of it. "If you guys are gonna fly, the Princess and I are gonna go gather information. Come along your Highness," he grabs little Hana without a moment's pause, gripping her shoulder as he tugs her along to walk further into the heart of the village. It turns out it's no better than the edge of the place where the group stopped to talk. "Oi, Old Man," he directs his words to a hobbling elderly male with a cane and what looks to be a poorly wrapped up- wounded- thin leg. "What's up with this place? What's got you guys sucking so hard at living?"
The old man, dressed in hand crafted clothing like everyone else, shoots a wary glare at the man. "It's simple you stupid young bastard," he returns the rude attitude not pulling his punches. "It's the King. The man has sucked our wallets dry too many times. We can't afford anything, and since we're so close to the desert no one comes this way. No one really leaves the desert or enters it from this direction. We cannot afford to change locations; too many of us don't want to leave and those that do don't have the ability to assure the rest of our survival".
Midir in the mean time silently releases a sigh, not quite surprised by being volunteered but not understanding why they have to fly. There' eight of them, meaning that two can go to the left of the river and the other can go towards the other end for a little while to investigate. The other two pairs could gather information. But as Sora and Aislin agree that it'd be most efficient for Illya and he to fly and get a bird's eye view of the place he relents. "Very well," he allows before removing the coat from his shoulders. He offers this cloth to Aislin and requests, "Hold this," with no real thought to her accepting or declining to do so. Instead, he only releases his wings, with the sound of ripping skin that heals around the bases of said wings once they're fully free. The elegant red feathered limbs gently relax against his back, ignoring the amazed gazes of those huddled along broken walls wrapped in blankets to keep their frail bodies warm- not that it's cold or anything to the average person though due to their weakness it may seem cooler to them. Whispers of 'angel' and 'savior' meet his ears, but it's nothing new to him. Any normal person who sees his wings normally thinks these things. He would be lying if he said the mantra has not become rather annoying. Regardless, he pushes off, his wings needing not to be stretched as they take him to the sky that is luckily clear. It feels amazing to fly, just as it always does. However, with the release of his wings also comes the full brunt of his power crashing against the locks that keep it at bay. Oh how it wishes to be free, not that he allows this as he makes sure to keep all levels of his aura the same as they are when his wings are hidden. Eventually he stops when he thinks he has a good enough vantage point. What he sees is.....Interesting. To the right along the river there actually is a blockage. A large well built stone dam keeps the water at bay, refusing to allow it further travel from that point. It's a few hours' travel from the town the group has arrived in, but is obviously a reason as to why the river is dry. "There," he points out to the fairy I assume is at his side, "A dam," it's far enough away to not be seen from ground level.
Aislin doesn't really know what to do with herself as she takes Midir's coat and folds it over her arm for safe keeping. Onsei has already drug Hana off to gather information, and Sora has suggested to Aelita that they should do the same. Someone should stay where they are to relay information of what the other two pairs are doing to the winged pair in the sky. She scratches behind one of her own ears in hopeless thought before suddenly something slams into the back of her legs, catching her by surprise and sending her stumbling into Malek. "Oh, sorry," she apologizes as she distractedly turns to see what ran into her. A child, his skin looking like scales and his eyes obviously reptilian, rubs his head and shakes it to get rid of the result of the impact. "Hey, are you okay?" She questions, a tilt to her head as she looks at the malnourished child. It pulls at her heartstrings to see such a sight, the boy's ragged shirt nothing but scraps and showing her his ribs that sit starkly against his skin. When the boy nods, she smiles and offers a hand to help him up, though he doesn't dare to take the offer. "I'm glad you're okay," she smiles all the same, not bothered by his wariness. However, what she is bothered by is the boy's pleading.
"I'm sorry! You're with the army, aren't you? Please don't punish me, I promise I won't ever run into someone ever again!" His body trembles as he carefully stands again, slit pupils wide with fear.
Aislin's brows furrow, her ears falling flat on her head. "Huh?" But the flattening of her ears seems to be taken as hostile to the boy. Said boy screams his apology again before running the way he came as fast as his ten year old legs can take him. "....What was that about? The Army?" She doesn't get it.
In the mean time, Sora listens cluelessly as Illya offers what she does as they travel. He's not very good at riddles or puzzles to be honest. Half the time he just does what his gut tells him to. However, he gladly talks to Aelita as she makes small talk with him once she's cooled of enough to so. He asks about how she thinks she should train to master her faeblades and how long she can actually hit a target with her arrows. He's only seen her really fight twice- once when they all displayed what they could do and the other time when they were fighting those spider beast things to save the kid that ended up sending them to the desert. As he inspects the river, he realizes that there is no sign of what is upstream and purses his lips. He doesn't know much about nature, so honestly any information that can be offered by those who do know things about it, mainly Hana, is appreciated and stored in his mind for another time if needed. "I think we should gather information too. Are you coming Aelita?" he questions the young woman as he turn and follows Onsei's example. But instead of dragging Aelita, he just waits for her to join him. They go in the direction, only luck allowing him to actually be correct in his travels. "Excuse me, miss," he questions a young woman too skinny to be healthy curled up to a once thriving food stand. Her tired eyes slowly drag themselves from the empty space she had been staring at. It's a shame really; she'd be pretty if she were healthier. "What's going on here? Why is this place in such shambles?"
"The civil war," she tells him simply as though that is all she needs to say. The girl's voice is dry as though she hasn't taken a good drink in a long while. And really depending on how long the river has been dry that could be true. She's covered in grime and dirt as well. Poor girl. Being the kind person he is, from his inventory he pulls out a couple emergency bottles of water and hands them to her. He didn't use this water in the desert because he had bought them yesterday in his travels with Aelita and found no reason to use them earlier in the day. Still, her answer is confusing to him. Civil war? While it's true that there are people who have conquered many territories and conjoined them to make small kingdoms. But he never thought a civil war would actually break out.

Hana listens as everyone decides to go separate ways for a moment. None of them will be going too far, so she's ok with this. She was going to offer her services until she is caught and dragged off by a certain, ancient demon. She pouts, glaring at him for taking her away. He still seems content to call her what she isn't after telling him off that she's no princess. Still, she hasn't much time to ponder it as they come across an old man and start asking him questions of the situation. Her fair expression relaxes, but remains focused. Though, she can't help but let a low scoff escape when Onsei is called a bastard by him. It's too funny! Still, she doesn't forget the seriousness of the situation. "So, would the King be why this river is dried up?" She asks. Maybe he cut off resources like the cruel ruler he sounds like. With them cornered, though, all the king would succeed in doing is starving the village to complete death.
And compared to such grand angel wings, Illya's wings seem nonexistent as they extend out. They'd transparency leaves them nearly invisible. All that one would see are the silver swirls shaping them like tapered butterfly wings. They're used much like a hummingbird's, beating so fast they're almost one fluid swipe of sparkling silver to those who see them. They even emit a soft hum from the extreme flapping. Still, she trails after Midir, twirling and dancing happily into the sky. Despite the situation, it puts a small smile on her face from the sensation of being in the air. She looks down and around. At first, she doesn't see what Midir does, as she looks the opposite direction first for signs of trouble. It's only when he speaks that she turns to find what indeed looks like a dam. "Ah! It's as he thought. Shall we break it up ourselves, or rather make the soldiers do it for us? Perhaps we shall let the ones most suited to the situation handle it?" She inches closer to the damn, though not so far that she'd have to shout for Midir to hear her. No doubt they could do it themselves, and she prepares strings at her finger tips to be sent down on the soldiers to access control. However, should he decide to opt for waiting for others to catch up, she holds back on taking control. Of course, she has fly over to get control if she's going to do so.
Malek is content to rest in one spot while the others rush off to do some sort of work like a bunch of fools. He's watching Midir and Illya take to the skies above to scout out any abnormalities when Ainslin decides now is the time to throw herself into his arms. He looks down with a puzzled look. "You okay?" He asks her, having caught hold of her to keep her from falling further. He follows her gaze to noticed the little reptilian boy cowering and apologizing for hitting her. "We're not soldiers, kid," he tells the boy. He'd reach a hand out, but the boy dashes off before he can. "Soldiers, huh? So this could be some political squabble among local towns." He mulls over it all. He wants to go investigate, but he knows well it's best they stay put while the others wander about. They would be in a sense an anchor point for all of the others. He glances back up at the sky. The two are barely noticeable even for advanced demonic sight like his. They truly are specks of nothing so far up. "I'm sure the others will learn what the kid meant soon enough," he mutters.
Aelita nods to Sora. "The more information we can find, the better. Plus, you'd only get yourself lost with out someone tagging along." She gives a wry smile as she goes to walk past him in the right direction. It does surprise her that he ends up heading the right way so easily on the first try. Though, it's assumed to be pure luck after a minute of thinking. She watches the people as they walk, observing the tattered huts for homes and the ragged women and children. It's truly a despicable place if even the young are starving. She looks to the half-starved girl as Sora approached her for questions. "Civil war?" She muttered. That would make good sense, she assumes. "Tell us about it. Who are you fighting, exactly, and why?"

"Partially young lady," the old man answers as he shifts his weight to look at the pretty girl. He wonders just how the hell she was dragged into being with the rude bastard. He prays for her sake that they aren't an item. Never the less, he sighs, "The Rebellion began here. My son, Vocus, decided that enough was enough and gathered all the young men here to go find allies. The war's been going on for two years; this is this town's punishment for raising such a boy". He pauses, "That asshole King deserves to die though. Fat like a pig and stupid like a chicken".
Onsei tilts his head. Civil war huh? "Why don't the lot of you leave? You're not so weak that you can't travel a few hours' worth into the desert to the oasis town not too far away". As the old man looks away, seeming to have flinched, his violet eyes narrow in mocking glee. "Unless you're trying to 'protect' something precious here? Something you don't want found? Perhaps something the King wanted, that you refused him of, and thus brought forth his wrath. Stop me when I'm close, Old Man".
"You hit the nail on the head, Bastard," the old man growls in kind. This guy is seriously annoying. If only he had the energy to take his cane and knock some sense into him by way of hitting his family jewels. An ass like this guy doesn't deserve to reproduce anyways. He grunts and now looks towards the far edge of the town it seems. "This town was once known for producing beautiful jewelry and acting as a home for many beautiful women. My daughter, Veska, was seen by the King- back then he was naught but a Prince- and he wanted her as a bride. She declined and we supported her. This is our punishment. His rule was harsh from the start, so the other villages were swift to ally with my son when he left to find friends".
Midir spots the fairy's wings, and finds them oddly...Graceful for such thin things. They could probably be ripped off like fly wings if someone got the chance. Not that Illya'd allow that in the slightest obviously but no matter. As she suggests that they destroy the dam and take care of this simple issue, he pauses. "Would you like to see my abilities at work?" He offers with a slight narrowing of his eyes. It'd do him some good to at least have one person know what he can do. What better than someone more likely to keep a secret than blab like say Sora would? He doesn't need a loud mouth spreading news about his skills to everyone out there. Onsei would most certainly tell everyone about Midir's skills just because and Aislin would probably slip in a bout of anger. Hana seems trust worthy....Or at least as long as she too doesn't get pissed. He's fairly certain however that Malek, Illya herself and Aelita are good at keeping secrets. None the less, should she accept his offer, he nods. "Keep in mind that this first part is a requirement for me to perform in order to properly bring forth my real power. Should I not do it, my skills will not be at their strongest". Granted he could still use his absolute hypnosis, but if he doesn't follow the requirement then it wouldn't actually be absolute. Moving a bit closer, he takes off for the dam, his wings taking him far regardless of whether Illya follows. Though the dam is far by foot, it's close by wing. And therefore it's not long until he finds himself high above the concrete water trap. He punches down, hand curled into a tight fist. As a result, the air seems to crack like glass. Being able to 'shake' anything he touches is something all Arcangels share. It is also required for all Arcangels to force this single shake upon their targets before they can activate their individual powers. Be this 'quake' be in the form of a punch and sending people flying, or simply in creating an earthquake. In Midir's case, he's creating an air-quake. The vibrations travel through the air rapidly, causing a rumbling sound to be heard as the 'quake' travels down to the dam and the about one hundred fifty people keeping guard at every which angle save for up. When the 'quake' meets the dam, it shatters, freeing the water and sending those actually on the dam to go flying either hitting their heads and falling unconscious or getting crushed by the raging water that rushes its way towards the town the rest of the group resides in. While about fifty people are left either bleeding and out for the count or simply washed away and probably killed by the water, the other hundred are searching for the enemy. Being that anyone who witnesses the 'quake', whether on the forceful side or the harmless side of it, at least once, Midir can now show Illya just what he forces the survivors to see. It's a simple task for his absolute hypnosis, but it works for this situation. Each person sees a massive beast standing tall in the torrent of the water that is only just starting to calm down, standing on three legs- one a cat's back leg, another a horse's back leg and the third a human leg- with its single arm waving high in the air with an ax proportionate to it in hand. The beast with a minotaur's torso screams. The sound fits a banshee much more, but no matter. The survivors either attack or run away. Granted, the beast in reality is every other person that another sees. In the end, he's making them fight one another or hunt one another down. It's a massacre, and not at all lovely to see. With the violence in the area at maximum and the people all dead, Midir drops his absolute hypnosis and allows Illya to see the real world. If she should refuse to see his ability, he suggests to go with her plan, letting her play puppet master against the men waiting to die either way.
"Yea, I'm okay," Aislin smiles up to the oni as he catches her, giving him silent thanks. However, she purses her lips with worry, "I don't like-" however before she can finish speaking, her body grows rigid with the oncoming of a vision.....No....Two visions. Her hand latches onto the nearest thing, Malek's forearm if you'll allow it, and grips as hard as her small hand can. Should he retract his arm, she stands stock still, fingers twitching violently. The first vision is that of Midir's attack on the dam from the beginning- the 'quake'- to the illusion he makes the soldiers see as though she too was one. She only half realizes that the illusion is of Midir's make, having by pure luck caught the explanation he gave Illya from her perspective. When the chaos ends, she only vaguely notices that the river is rushing forth, lashing down its path rapidly as some of it crashes into already broken walls and into people too close. Should Malek not do something, they too will be hit by the torrent of freed water. The second vision has nothing to do with the town or the river. What she sees is a grand place. Not a ball room like before, though she assumes that there is one somewhere considering where she thinks they are. It looks something like a throne room. There are two such thrones, in one of which is a young man with long green hair and sky blue eyes so bright they could rival Onsei's. His skin is pale, and he's dressed in a simple suit and tie get up she's seen in her travels. A simple crown wrests around his wrist like a bracelet, elegantly decorated by jewels and such. The other throne next to him is empty. However, the floor both thrones sit on are elevated, lead to by three stairs. Standing at the top of these stairs is.....Aelita- no wait, Aislin herself?....No, the image changes again, the person before the next fizzing out into static. Next to stand there is Illya...No wait, now it's Hana. The image of the woman standing at the top of the stairs continues to change between those four as though the future can't choose who to pick. The only things that are common between the four women is their clothing. An elegant kimono that compliments each of their bodies, a choker in the shape of a crown, dark gold as opposed to the green haired man's light gold, and the blank look on their faces. Kneeling like a knight is one of the men, dressed from head to toe in armor, head bowed. When it's Illya, it's Midir, decked in black armor his wings furled against his back and the ground seeming to tremble under the pressure of that 'quaking' part of his power she saw earlier. When it's herself, Malek kneels, decked in orange-rust colored armor. Midir's image fizzed out like it did for the women. As Hana stands there, Onsei kneels, his armor tinted a crimson color, Aislin can hear various tones from high to low coming from him as though- like Midir- his power was unchecked. When Aelita is there, it's Sora in armor, a silver-white, as though he were a literal knight in shining armor, the ground around him slashed seemingly by the katana at his hip. Finally, her 'eyes' are met by the apparent King's vibrant blues. A smirk spreads across his lips, eyes cruel as words come but no sound. 'Game over'. Are the words. Finally she is pulled from this confusing vision, her eyes refocusing to the real world as her lungs gasp and heave for air. Her knees, as usual, give out from the vision. No.....Visions. She doesn't understand why she saw the first one, but she's certain the second one is important. As her body begins to recover from the shock of the visions, she can faintly hear a funeral bell toll ringing in her ears.
Sora's smile falls to a grumbling frown as the archer mentions him getting lost. "I wouldn't get lost," he denies with a grunt. Never the less, he lets Aelita do the questioning for now, opting for staying silent for the time being. However when the river comes to them, he turns and gapes. "What happened?!" He realizes that the two that had gone flying must have fixed whatever was keeping the river at bay, however. Once the roaring river is calmed down a little, only by game logic not taking out more of the village than it does, he looks back to the potentially pretty woman. "You're fighting because you wouldn't give the Prince-now-King your prettiest woman so he could have a wife?" A brother protecting his sister's rights and packing into that the suffering they all had prior to that demand seems like a fairly decent reason to start a civil war.
The young sickly thin woman looks from man to woman warily, not completely certain that she should be telling strangers about her home's grief. She notes that they are not part of the game, but rather players it seems. A small flicker of hope shines in her dull eyes. "Yes, a Civil War. Two years ago, the Prince- Alios- whom now is King, had visited personally collect taxes. The price was insanely high as usual, and that month we hadn't traded enough goods to actually make a livable profit. Alios decided that he would take one of our women as payment, as despite our poverty believe it or not this place was known for producing beautiful women". Even she was pretty at some point. "He spotted the one we all considered most beautiful, Veska, and demanded that she become his wife. But Veska despite her beauty was a sickly young woman; she couldn't travel far from her home nor very often. Her father- or rather father figure as her and her brother's real father died ten years prior- declined the Alios' demand. He left without another word, but then two weeks later we were attacked by the army. They burned down our homes, destroyed our crops and put something in the water that made us all very feeble for some time. And then they killed Veska when she refused to leave this place. Her brother, Vocus, was thrown into a rage. So he gathered all the able bodied men and left in search of allies from other villages. Needless to say he found some, and so the Civil War began". It is shortly after her explanation that the river bursts passed the village, causing her to start and yelp. "What in god's name?! The river!" Both surprise and joy echos in her voice. She doesn't get it, but with the river back, some things will be better.

Hana listens to the old man, not at all bothered Onsei's asshole ways. Perhaps it's a bad thing that she's grown so accustomed to his repugnant personality. Though all this truly is mere wandering thoughts that disappear as soon as they appear. She gazes towards Onsei, finally showing some irritation when he insists they move. "Why move? It's their home. Not to mention that now, with the explanation of this king taking people against their will, they certainly can't abandon her in good conscience. Even I, now, wouldn't feel well with not aiding these people." The thought of this girl kept against her will really rubs this young demoness the wrong way, and despite her attempts, she fails to conceal her hardened expression. "Where is this King? I think we ought to pay them a visit," she says. Her gazes shifts once again to Onsei, hard, golden eyes on him. "The river should be an easy, immediate matter. Let's go after the King. Whether he's the cause for the river drying up or not, I feel like he ought to be crushed." Any teasing isn't met with usual, spastic denial and childish arguing from her. No. She's serious. And honestly, she won't easily take "no" from Onsei. He should be able to contact the others to announce that they'll be heading out so they don't have to wait on the others. Certainly, she and Onsei both are more than capable of taking a castle themselves. She'll go it alone if she must, and she says this if Onsei insists on not helping.
Aelita looks to Midir when he offers to show is power. The corner of her mouth twitches into the faintest smile as she narrows her eyes back at him. "Oh, I'm VERY curious, Mistah Bartender, with what you can do." She tilts her head and waves her hand towards the dam, inviting him to proceed with showing off. With interest piqued, she watches him very closely at first. Even as he mentions needing to charge his power. She doesn't want to miss a single heartbeat of what he can do, as it's the one power she has yet to figure out. She takes off after the man, failing behind him to avoid the headwinds that are blowing on them. Once close enough, she slows to a stop. She wants to give him room to work, so she keeps several meters away now. She can still hear him, and she can see him and the soldiers well, but she shouldn't be in his way here. She watches after he strikes downward and causes his "air-quake" to ripple and tear up the damn. How convenient, she muses, and this is only a prelude apparently. She watched them intently now, accepting the change in what she sees with a wide grin. "Ha! This is great!" She may control their bodies, but he controls their minds. How scary. How absolute. As they slaughter one another. She decided it's safe to drift closer. She seems to be laying stomach-down on the air beside him now, much like if he were on a bed or couch instead. Even her legs bend up and back as if she were sticking them in the air, and her arms fold as if to prop herself up. "I hope the others may have a clue as to whom these soldiers work for. Maybe we can investigate the base once they're all dead, no?" She starts to drift downward now, much like a leaf swaying back and forth downward to the ground.
Malek is lost at first as to what's going on. It's only when she grips his arm so tight that she could pop his hand off that he gets what's happening. It appears to be her having a vision. He has little time to react at first, for he also heard the faintest sound of rocks being smashed apart. He looks around, especially as he also hears the sound of rushing water. He has even less time to react against what he sees. The waters race and roar towards them with an unnatural speed, it seemed. Even with his naturally increased speed as a demon, Malek barely escaped with Ainslin. He collects her in his arms in a single, swift motion before giving a mighty leap up and out of the way. It honestly gave to poor fellow a hear attack, for he didn't care to be washed off with Ainslin now. On the newly defined bank of the river, he kneels down under a whithering tree, setting her in a cozy, mossy spot where the trunk seems to be shaped like the back of w comfy chair. Here, he waits for her vision to pass calmly, and when she seemed to come to, he asks, "Are you ok, Ainslin?" He personally pays no mind to the sound of bells, only concerning himself with them should they sound like they're getting closer to him. For now, he wants to determine that the young lady before him is safe and not burdened with pain. Of course he wants to know what she saw, but he waits until she can answer the first question coherently before asking.
Aelita listens, only jolting her attention elsewhere when the river rushed back to life behind them. Good. That means they can turn their attention elsewhere in this village. It's river seems only a small part of their struggles, so it'd be wise they not ignore the real problem. Clearing the river will not be temporary, and this King will be livid to learn the fate of his soldiers if they were in fact his. The tale of the young Veska makes her livid. She truly wants to fight for these people, and she muses morbidly that this would be an opportune time to test her feablades. She rests her arms in a crossed position under her chest. She looks to Sora. "What do you think?" She says, he voice extremely calm and soft to hide her own rage. "I feel it appropriate we go after the king, now. If nothing else, let's get back and discuss with the others what ought to be done." For she feels that this will truly be a crucial task, one of the ones required of them to complete.

"They have no way to defend themselves and-" he pauses, looking to the old man.
"Veska was killed two weeks after she refused the King's demands," the old man mutters lowly. "God rest her soul". Not that a part of the game has a soul nor that there is a god in this world.
"And Veska's dead. There's no point in staying here. The oasis place has more resources where they can start anew," Onsei points out blandly as he crosses his arms over his chest. However as she insists that they go and cause some havoc, he sighs. "You're just as bad as Aislin. Goody goody". The half fox demoness had demanded something similar of him shortly after she 'hired' him to protect her a while back. Had something to do with a bunch of rape victims he couldn't care less for. Still, he does find pleasure in violence and ruining people's plans. So, before she can stomp off on her own, he grins. "But that's okay this time around. I know you ain't gonna try to stop me from killing," he ruffles the girl's hair roughly before demanding. "Old man, where's the next town?"
"East of here ya young douche," the old man grunts, pointing with his cane and then stomping it into Onsei's toes. Or he would have if it weren't for the fact that doing so breaks the cane instead of the demon's toes. "Damn bastard," he snaps, "Get out of here before I maim ya".
Onsei laughs, throwing his head back, "You couldn't hurt even Hana," he insults the both of them in one go. "Let's go Princess. We have people to kill, places to be". He strolls forward as though it was his idea to play hero in the first place. As he walks, he does as indirectly suggested, whispering into six sets of ears of the information, his and Hana's plans and bidding them goodbye as well as the suggestion that they should meet at the castle.
He can practically taste the fairy's amusement upon witnessing his power that, once the people are dead, is locked away within his person once more. A mere taste of his absolute hypnosis, and he thinks she's a bit intoxicated from it. It slightly annoys him, as it reminds him of someone back home that he rather disliked. Luckily she's not nearly as insane- or at least he hopes she's not. He pauses before answering Illya, hearing Onsei's voice in his ear despite being nowhere near him. He and Hana are leaving? Civil War?....This is much bigger than it seemed, it seems. "Investigation sounds like a good plan," he agrees with Illya once she sets to fluttering to the ground. He on the other hand circles and lowers himself by way of various air drafts, wanting to feel the wind under his wings a bit longer. If he were feeling more strict with himself, he'd just dive bomb like a falcon or other bird of prey. But such is not the case. When he lands on the rubble covered ground, he ignores the death rattles and shallow breathing around him as a few men have yet to fully release their will to live. He looks around, curious. Until he finds a man leaning against a large block of dam with a spear in his right lung, impaling him to the stone. He kneels before the man, noting that he's a soldier rather than just some enemy's follower. "You are the King's man," he tells the soldier, knowing that if he appeared as himself in front of the soldier, he lies. "I am here to take your pain away, good man. Before you leave, would you like to pass any words onto me?" Normally this works. After all, who would lie to a man whom is an angel of sorts?
The gasping soldier grips the spear by the shaft tightly, blood dribbling from his lips. "I.....I want to apologize to the villagers in the east," with his other hand he points weakly further down the river. "I....I personally set fire to their crops. I knew it was wrong but orders," he hacks, "Were orders". Before he can continue, he gasps before his body gives out, unwilling to hold on any longer.
Midir stands and looks around, not seen anyone in the immediate area alive. He calls out to his counter part, "What say you to traveling to a village to the east?" After all. Onsei and Hana are going their own ways, why not them as well? It seems that this issue needs to be fixed regardless of whether or not this is one of the things they have to do to open up the barrier to the portal. Hell, even if it's not, they might find something that is.
Aislin shivers and nearly convulses with the shock of the latest vision attack as she calls them. However when she fully comes to, she realizes that she's not standing but situated in soft moss. Her clothing is lightly damp from the rushing of water that was the result of her first- pointless really- vision. Upon being asked about her vision, she tells him only about the larger one. About how she saw a throne room and then all the confusion. She saw whom she assumes is the King of these lands that the boy was complaining about. Though she pauses to listen to Onsei's voice and to complain about the fact that she and he had journeyed around the game world to find them all so they would form a group and do stuff together. Not split apart for some time and then gather back up again. Once she's done complaining, she tells Malek everything in heavy detail, from the kimonos to the knight's armor that the men wore. She finally finishes with a shutter when the King met her eyes and mouthed 'game over'. "It's a really scary thought, Malek. Every time I saw myself or any of the other girls and one of you guys, none of the rest of the group was there. And then the whole 'game over' thing? What if something is gonna happen to every one but two of us?" The girls' eyes were so blank as they stood at the top of the stairs it's not even funny. It's like they were puppets. She purses her lips, later trying to find a different subject, "Do you think we should try to find another village and help them like Hana and Onsei are doing?" Everyone else is bound to be the same.
Sora was pissed the moment he heard about what the villages other than this one have gone through. How dare that.....That.....That asshole! A King's duty is to his people, to do everything in his power to make them happy and still keep the land healthy and society afloat. Not walk around like some sort of demented spoiled child and say 'gimme gimme gimme'. Before Aelita can really insist that they go after the King- hell, even before Onsei relays his and Hana's intentions- he's already walking off. His blade sings for the blood of this jerk, begging to be tested on the enemy's flesh. Such morbid thoughts don't normally cross the childish, simple minded man's mind. However, this is simply out of hand. It's an issue that he would give up his possible godhood for if that meant things would be made better. It's only after he hears Onsei's disembodied voice that he agrees with Aelita, "Let's go". Although he's going back the way they came into the village, towards the desert. When in reality the young woman points out that they should be heading south east, not north west.

"All the more reason!" Hana exclaims when she hears of Veska's death. "He's an animal and ought to be put down!" She insists. No mind is paid when she's called a "goody goody" by him. No, she keeps her hardened gaze on him. She only ducks her head as he goes to mess up her hair, a smile on her face as she pleased to hear that he agreed to go with her on this venture to the castle and to eliminate this King. "Yea," she says. "Kill the bastards." He almost laughed as the old man broke his cane over Onsei's foot. If she wasn't so agitated, she would have. For now, she gives a smile at the man's attempt. "If only he were that easy to maim," she says dryly before heading off. She darts to his side, has he had a bit of a head start, her hand on his arm for a moment once she catches up. A moment passes before she alms down enough to make a jab. "Hey. You ought to treat a 'Princess' better," she says. If he's going to keep calling her princess, why not see if he'll actually act like she is one. "You ought to be on your knees then, no? Even Kings that aren't this fool knows to treat princesses like royalty."
Illya continues the twirl downward to the ground. Blood soaked into the river and earth, staining the world red. She stands on this land finally, and she prances over to the dying soldier. She stands back, silver wings fluttering and shimmering as the sunlight catches the silver and glints of the clear membrane. She allows Midir to take the lead on this interrogation. He whimpers and pleads for forgiveness from those whose lives were destroyed. She, too, had heard the message from Onsei, and so the mention of this village to the east makes her want to head there on their way to see the lovely King. She looks to Midir, and a small smile plays on her lips. "I think that's a fine idea. Let's go play hero like the Angels we are." She laughs at herself on that. "Let's get a move on if we're going to head that way. We are limited on time, after all." She decides to spread her wings once more and flutter into the sky, finding that since they both can fly, they can travel a smidge faster.
Malek listens to her complaints about splitting up, just relieved to see her well enough to complain in the first place. He listens to her explain the vision, his gaze intense as he hears about a king, followed by Onsei's instructions to meet up at a certain king's castle to take it. How ironic. He smirks at her. "It sounds like we ought to head there if we want to rejoin the others." He places a hand on her head. "We VBS head out, hitting villages along the way to ensure their well being. We certainly won't overcome this vision by hanging back at least. Let's you and I head out, and we can ask for direction to villages along the way." He stands upright, offering her a hand to help her as well. "Let's get going." He heads out, a steady grip being kept on her hand.
Aelita grabs Sora's arm to stop him as well since he about went the wrong way. "Cmon, sparky," she says with a hardened gaze. "Let's head towards this castle." She walks on, holding onto his arm as if to keep him from straying. Her stride is long and swift, wanting to waste no time in bouncing from village to village all the way to the castle.

Onsei's eyes hardly flicker in the direction of the girl at his side, her palm on his person as though she has the right to be so familiar. Just because he's training her doesn't mean he'll be nice or anything. Honestly it doesn't mean jack shit. The reasoning for his kindness is to repay her calming him the other night. Rage floods his veins for the barest of seconds; damn Fairy. With the lot of them going their own ways, he won't have to see the pretty woman for a while. "Oh? But you're not really a princess," he laughs out, recalling the many times she's insisted that she isn't. "Though you're certainly weak and whiny like one. So maybe you really are. The only one who is gonna get on their knees is you if you catch my drift". For once, he isn't talking about anything perverted, but rather her training that he offered to help her with. Should she take his words as perverted, he cluelessly questions what she's talking about, and laughs should it result in embarrassment on her part. None the less, the sound master continues to walk and walk and walk, not really bothering for a break. By the time they reach the village they are headed in, the sun has just finished setting giving way to night. It is silent for the most part the towns people having finished their work for the day and the shops closed long since dawn. While it appears to be run down, it is not in the same state as the town they headed out from. This is a place that just gets by, it seems. As they traverse, Onsei suddenly turns into a bar, in search for food. He blinks when he realizes that the bartender is actually a Minotaur of all things. Well then. "Tell me about this town, old man, it looks pretty beat up. Why?" he demands of the bull-man.
The bar keep would raise a brow at the demon in front of him if he had any brows to begin with. However in place of that an ear flicks. This man smells of blood though he's not covered in any. Dangerous. Just what they don't need. "It's beaten up because of the Civil War we're all going through, a rising against our ass of a King Alios. We're bound to be a little beat up, don't you think?"
"Not if you're smart," he crudely explains.
With a snort and a roll of his big brown eyes, the half animal half man continues, "Besides, it's hard enough trying to get Alois' men to leave. Currently we are losing our part of the war; we're forced to continue working and offering food from our crops and livestock since we had stopped. We'd force the military out, but their leader is one crazy strong lady. Calls herself Aphrodite- though I think her real name is Bishi- since she's so crazy about love or whatever. Says that the only way we can defeat her is if we find a man to devote himself to her hand and foot. Treat her like royalty and do anything and everything she wants. We've had many men try to do just that, but apparently she asks insane things of them and they end up failing and getting themselves killed".
Onsei blinks, pausing to take in the information, and then promptly throws his head back with a howl of laughter. His jaw slack and wide open, he finds himself doubling over and pounding a fist on the bar, the situation too funny for him to deal with. "S-Seriously?! That's it?! You didn't even attempt assassination?! Oh my god you guys are stupid!" He chortles.
The barkeep growls, flat herbivore teeth bared dangerously to the vermillion eyed male, "We've tried everything, asshole. She has a special ability that allows her form a protective barrier around her at all times. It's skin tight and doesn't even look like it's there, so all of our attempts have been for naught. Getting her to fall in love with one of our men and leave is the last option we have left. It's a wonder she hasn't killed us off yet".
Onsei snickers, "Just a barrier? That's stupid". The fact that they can't break a barrier is even funnier. Ahh weaklings, perfect playthings for the strong himself included.
Midir sighs and stands as life finally leaves the soldier, accepting the duty of apparent savior as Illya suggests. With a heave of his great wings, he finds himself flying side by side with the Fairy, wings spread far and drifting on the air currents. Being that they can travel faster than when on foot, the village they're headed for is reached within only a few hours. For a place that had its crops burned by that dead man, it seems to be doing rather well. Buildings that aren't damaged, walkways and paths that aren't filled with holes, people that seem pretty healthy. Yes, this place seems fairly peaceful for a place that had suffered major food losses. Even the people seem relatively happy, conversing with the army men and women with smiles on their faces. However, as Midir walks through the town and studies the people closer, he can see the fear behind those happy masks. He looks around, curious, "We should try to find the rebel leader of this village," he realizes shortly. If all the villages need saving during their journey to the castle, then best get to work right away.
"Yea, I guess we should," there's no stopping him now, now that Onsei's gone and decided to do his own thing. She sighs and forces herself to her feet, using Malek's assistance as is whilst offering him a grateful smile. As they walk however, she is fairly silent, unable to shake the vision given to her by her uncontrollable powers. What did the King mean by 'Game Over'? Why was one of them standing at the stairs dressed like that? Why were one of the men dressed like knights?.....Does 'Game Over' refer to them not beating him or something? Not possible! They have Onsei and Malek and Midir! Those three combined ALONE are basically enough to take over the world on their own if they wanted to. In addition to that, there's Hana and Illya. And then her and Sora and Aelita are if anything good for back up It'd be mainly getting to the King at the same time that would be the proble-.....Oh god. Don't tell her that only two of them make it to the King and lose! She bites her lower lip roughly, unwilling to believe any of that. Not with the guys they have in their group. Even Sora could beat the King on his own, right? The green haired bastard didn't seem that strong in her vision. But damn it, now she's got her mind reeling. Damn it all.
"Sparky? Really?" Sora huffs as he's tugged in the correct direction by his counter pout. "That sound weird coming from you, Aelita," it's like she's calling for her dog or something! Still, he follows her lead and walks in a relaxed manor, not too worried about getting to their destination too fast or too slow. it's nice out anyways, perfect for a nap. However, as silence comes over the two of them as they walk, he grows tired of the lack of sound. Man, at least when they were all together, there was either Onsei or Illya around to start some sort of argument or just talk their ears off. Even Midir would be nice to have around! "So," he questions the archer, "I don't think we've actually come together and talked about this. What exactly would you do with your powers once we defeat the Chaos?" Or rather, put it back on its leash, thus turning them into gods. "I think I'd take way stuff like cars and guns and cannons and trains. Like, make it impossible to make anything that can pollute the atmosphere but still allow for vast scientific advances like treating cancer and stuff". He grins up to the sky that's actually bluer than the one in the real world. "I mean, yea then everyone would be stuck fighting with stuff like swords or their fists or even arrows but there's no issue with that. Is there? Oh! And in place of cars so we can still travel pretty far and fast we could have mechanical horses- like, robot horses- that run off of hay and grass and stuff like real horses do. The only difference between them and real horses is that they could run faster for longer, and jump higher, and they wouldn't have to be maintained as much".

Hana sneers at Onsei. "Well, you insist on calling me one, so might as well treat me like one too..." She trails off as he calls her weak and says she'll be the one on her knees. Of course, her mind happens to go to the gutter this time, and she narrows her eyes. The Palm on his arm ignites in a hot, sparking blue flame. The hand is pulled away, but the flames linger. "You wouldn't be so lucky," she insists, her face a soft pink. It turns redder when Onsei innocently asks what she means. "Don't play innocent, you damn Perverted old man!" She shouts before throwing more fire at him out of frustration. One good thing about him being strong, she realizes, is she could vent her frustration on him and he would be alright where others would be killed. She won't worry about him losing his life over a little bit of fire. Still, she proceeds with him to the next village. She listens to the person they come across silently at first. Her gaze slides to the side on Onsei. "Ok, Onsei," she says, a smile playing at the corners of her mouth. "Why don't you get close. Indulge this woman's fantasies a bit. The troops will withdraw if this woman is true to her word. I can take care of all them as well once they're removed from the village. With her guard lowered, she'll be an easy target for you to take her out as well. Think you can play lover boy for a couple hours? Will she even accept an old, alien pervert like you to be her slave?" She teased him with a broad grin now.
Illya flutters on the virtual winds with graceful ease. Her transparent wings flutter so fast, it's as though she's merely gliding through the sky with a trail of glitter behind her. She observes the ground below and ahead of her with keen eyes. Being so high, it does well to have sharp vision to make out the minuscule people moving beneath her. As the next village appears, she quickly makes out the shapes and actions happening as they near it. Oddly enough, the place seems cheerful to be in the midst of a bloody, nasty war. Their food is gone, and yet they move about carefree as birds soaring in the sky. She looks to Midir curiously before a smile is once again on her face. "Rebel leader? I suppose we can ask. Look though. All these cheery people will probably drop the act the moment you ask. So long we get what we need, I suppose." She looks for someone to ask. With an overly friendly smile and cheery voice, she approaches the first important-looking individual. Her wings now are completely hidden. "Hi! You're all looking rather happy to face starvation soon," she said laugh. "Tell me. What has you looking so optimistic in these times?"
Makek is making sure that Ainslin remains with him as they travel onward towards the next village. His eyes wander towards the slightest sound not caused by them, wary of enemies lying in wait all around them. "Hey," he says with a soft voice to Ainslin. "You're going to go grey early if you keep stressing." He smiles and pats her head. There's not much he can do for her, though he wishes there were. All he can do now is try to cheer her up and keep her moving so they can eventually meet what ever fate has in store for them at the castle. He looks ahead once more, trying to see if he can make out any sort of shape resembling a village. "Tell me. What would you do with this new world once we create it?" He asks. Maybe he can further distract her, or rather have her focus on the end game for the moment instead of her vision. Anything to keep her from being so worried.
Aelita actually gives a rather girly laugh as Sora retaliates to being called sparky. "Well, what can I say? You seem like someone befitting such a nickname." She doesn't realize he just felt like a dog being called sparky, so she doesnt quite understand his dislike of the name besides maybe being annoyed with it. She doesn't care really. His reaction was all worth it to her. Still, she leads him on over the dirt path towards their new destination. She glances at him when he starts talking, curious at first. Once he's gone on a good minute or so, a smile is on her face as she listens. "So you want a super futuristic world, huh?" She teases. "Aye. A less destructive world would be great. I always imagined a more natural world, but with magic or clean technology that still allows us to thrive." She smiles at the thought. "Imagine it. Several small, bustling towns with a wide, open world to explore filled with lore and magic!" She laughs suddenly at herself. "It sounds like a video game, but it's ideal to me. Less people, more world. Maybe have a few large, scattered cities with the kind of advancement you mentioned. They'd have their armies and farmers alike on their mechanical horses with swords of strange, new metals far stronger than any iron or steel sword. Of course there would ideally be little to no fighting of the sort. Everyone will ba happy, carefree, and they won't destroy the world in the process."

"What? I never said you were a Princess," he denies poorly. Onsei laughs louder when the girl's mind is once the only one in the gutter, letting the fire dance and burn on his skin. It smarts, as fire should, but it doesn't hurt him nearly as much as it would say Sora. With his skin turning to sound before the burn can get too bad, he fluidly dances at the raging element sent his way. "Come now! It's not my fault you're the pervert here! You should be careful to say such things once we hit the town- there will probably be children running around!" Oh man he never gets tired of this! He blinks as they are told about Aphrotite slash Bishi- Onsei decides to mentally dub her as Horny Ugly Old Lady instead. At the mention of him actually playing lover boy, he raises a brow. "What? Can't I just go turn her brain to mush with sound or something? Oh! If she's part cow like this guy, we should roast her over one of your fires~," he makes it seem like the best idea ever, that second one.
"....She's not part bull, actually," the barkeep denies, "She's a half dragon demon. Quite beautiful actually".
"....I wonder what roasted dragon tastes like," the sound master snickers. Not done with his onslaught, he looks back to his companion his grin growing ever wider. "And what about you? I'm sure we can bind those nearly nonexistent boobs of yours and call you a pretty boy. We'll turn you into a Prince instead of a Princess!~"
"The most efficient way is best," he assures Illya upon her mentioning their masks dropping as soon as they ask for their rebel leader. Midir in the mean time follows the woman to the ground, his wings sliding back into his person with a sickening crunching sound. It doesn't hurt at all despite the pained glances he's given. The soonest important person they come upon is a young harpy, her arms replaced by wings and hands replaced by feathers that work like fingers and thumbs.
Pretty purple eyes blink at the stranger, her smile remaining on her lips, "Starving? I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not starving".
"That may be," Midir gives a pointed look to her risen cheek bones and the ribs he can see through her tight shirt. Even for bird legs they look like nothing but bone, "However we were wondering if we could ask you some questions. Is that okay?"
"What's a question?" The teen ponders on cluelessly before strolling on her way. "Bye bye now!" She doesn't even give them a chance to try and get more information.
Silently releasing a slow breath that could be qualified as a sigh, Midir lets the teen leave. No sense in forcing information out of her. "This is going to be more difficult than I expected". He walks in a random direction, looking for any officials that could help them. However the only officials he finds are soldiers hidden in plain sight. Not that they're in uniform or anything, dressed casually, but the way some people carry themselves just tells him that they're aren't what he wants to deal with right now. Of course, they could always interrogate a soldier, but that's neither here nor there. And it should be only done if it's the only choice they have left. Eventually, he finds another harpy, though this one has purple hair and green eyes opposed to the other one that had green hair and purple eyes. Otherwise they could pass off as twins. "Pardon me," he requests, "Could we ask you a few questions?"
"Certainly? Are you looking for a place to stay for your Honeymoon?" This one's voice is less ditsy than the other's, more mature and collected and smooth.
"No," he denies. "Bluntly put, we're looking for this town's rebel leader. Where can we find them?"
"You're looking at her. There's no secret about it and there's no point in me hiding as it were. Even the enemy's leader stationed here knows who I am. It's just a matter of when I'll strike. What can I do you for strangers?"
Aislin jolts out of her thoughts, shocked by the man's words. She absently tugs at the ends of her hairs, honestly believing him to be right. "I really don't wanna be gray," she whines. Almost cutely, her ears fall to either side as his large palm pats her, silently finding pleasure in the comfort. Malek's always there for her, it seems. It's such a welcome change from Onsei that honestly she doesn't quiet know what to do with it. She notices his attempt at distracting her, but gladly welcomes it all the same. "...I...I think first I would make it so that Half Demons aren't looked down upon. Or at least discourage it. Half Demons like myself aren't really that popular in either civilization- human or demon. We're the gray between the black and white, not a lot of people like us". Though she did not suffer this prejudice as a child, living in the forest with her family as she did, in her travels with Onsei it was more than likely to happen to her. "What about you Malek?" Would you perhaps like to do his and Aelita's towns? If not that's fine, I just figured a small change up would be good.
He's surprised by the oddly girly laugh, but finds himself liking the sound. It's coming from rough, tough, demon-hating Aelita. It's a nice sound. But even so, he waves his hands in the air, "But 'sparky' is a dog's name! I'm not a dog," he whines as though a child. "Yea super futuristic! Clean technology sounds the best. It would be interesting to see what one can do when they combine magic and technology; imagine what they could come up with". If he'd a tail it would be wagging. "I can see it now: a place where man and creatures of all kinds living together on one planet! Oh! And we should make it so that they can travel into space sooner than man really did. Can you imagine what it would be like for them to find aliens or something?" He beams as they walk, caring not for the noise he makes even as he doesn't really see any town in sight. Maybe theirs is further than expected? That's okay, he's having plenty of fun thinking about the future. He of course would be a god, but, "Oh, and I think we should have the ability to walk amongst the people. You know? Like, have a second body of our own make to transfer our consciousnesses into since we'll be in Vahalla keeping the Chaos under control. That way, we can live multiple lives and make a bunch of friends, and experience so many new things". He'd love that.

"You call me Princess all the time, stupid," Hana insists. Though this is all forgotten as she's taken for the perverted one this time. "Then you shouldn't say such misleading things, to people when you're the notorious perverted alien!" She cries out with a small growl. It frustrates her that he truly didn't mean what she thought, thus making her look the fool this time. The agitation sinks in and fades from sight, though it still simmers just out of reach of her conscious. For now, they ought to focus on the task at hand. As he insists on fighting, Hana frowns. "Use your head. This village is already crippled, and at any moment, this Bishi lady could come storming in to crush it, gaurds and all. It would be best for us to lower her guard and lure her men away from the village. Then I can go all out torching them, and she won't set them on the village at the slightest hint of a lie. You know it'll all be false. Just feed her what ever bullshit she wants to hear. You can manipulate her into withdrawing. Plus, it would be amusing to see who she thought would love her forever turn on her and betray her. That ought to be even more satisfying." It would certainly amuse little Hana at least. The funny images she imagines in her head are flushed out when she's called small breasted. A fist lights up to torch him again, but then she thinks better if it. With a pout still on her face, she says, "I'm not so small that I'd pass for a boy! Even if I could, I'd probably look twelve. No. Give her an old man."
Illya watches as the harpy scuttled away with a curious tilt of her head. "Fear to be hurt if they act unhappy?" She mutters before continuing on her way with Midir, a smile on her face. She observes the other harpy silently, saving opinions until they get some answers. Although, she snickers at the mention of a honeymoon. "You think I could get such a fine bartender to myself?" She teases with a laugh at that. As they find out she's the leader, Illya appears unfazed. "Looks like luck is its us today," she mused. "We would like to provide any aide to you that we may be able to offer." Her hands go to her hips. "Perhaps we can help you crush the opposition in your next raid or ambush? We have rather unique talents and both can fight well enough." Really, what else could they offer right now. "At the very least, what's the status here. How are you handling yourselves against these soldiers?"
(It would be best to do Ainslin's first. Given my plans, I need Hana and Malek to go through their own villages the same time. Of course, I'll introduce Aelita's this time around though) Malek listens to her, relieved to see her focus on something else. Her ideals are intriguing, though he personally hasn't had issues with half breeds let alone seen it. He mulls over what she said. "I suppose equality of that sort should be ideal. I myself would enjoy a society where humans and demons aren't so dominant. Allow for the creatures to have souls and intelligence as advanced as ours. Let us be able to work all together instead of one working for another. Otherwise.... I'd just want it to be a vast world. Lots to explore unlike anything we've seen in any of our worlds. Myths and legends can be real, and of course it'll be beautiful." He smiles at the thought of such a utopia. "It'll be a matter of keeping greed and selfishness in check of those that inhabit the world's we create. I don't want to remove their free will, but sinfuk natured that end up surpassing their values need to be put in their places."
Aelita laughs at him again. "You're no dog. Dogs have much better sense of direction than you." She listens to him go on about his world, a soft smile on her lips as she listens to him. He's excited to design the new world. "Oh, but of course we will have carnations among people! Though I don't want anyone to know we are in fact their gods. Let's befriend them, enjoy them as we would now." She likes that idea. Finally, after their chattering of new worlds a few hours, they stumble across their newest village. This one, to their surprise, is in tact. The buildings are whole, and the crops aren't burned to the ground. The people are worn and battered from squabbles, but they seem to hold their own well. She finally releases Sora's hand since they can see their target just in front of them. "Now then, let's learn the status here." She steps from the tree line and into the open to look for someone important looking for answers. Wary, suspicious looks are thrown her way as she, a stranger, marches freely. Once she sees the center of the village, several men surround her, and Sora if he followed, with old swords and pitchforks and spears. "Halt, woman!" One man growls out with a hoarse voice. "State toe business here, and we will then escort you where you need to go." Aelita stares, amused as she sees just how it is they maintained their wellbeing so far. Suspicion from the men is for very good reason, though they needn't distrust her or Sora. She smiles and says, "My companion and I come from another village. We just helped them, and now we wish to aide others as well against the tyrant King. Tell me," she is cut off before she can say more. The hoarse militia man says, "girly, we don't need no help from you. We're taking care of ourselves. We have a champion by our side that will see to it we resist the nasty result of wars!"
