Onsei shakes his head, "Bhunevelze doesn't control Chaos. If he did, it wouldn't be going crazy right now. The source of Chaos is Etros whom is dead. Without Etros around to control Chaos, it's gone and done what it has". Still as they talk and try to figure out just what their first move should be, his ears perk upon hearing about a town. "Where there's a town, there's a bar. Bars can have more information on certain things than libraries do," though they should see if they can find one anyways. Plus, finding a school would be good as well. That said, he is the first of my lot to make his way forward. It takes a few hours to get to the town, and he's honestly not at all happy with the sweltering heat beating down on his black clad back. Drops of sweat hit the sand before evaporating seconds later, giving way to the wrath of the virtual-not-virtual sun's rays. The town is filled with buildings made of a sand based concrete, windows being simple squares and curtains being the only thing that allows for privacy. There's doors as well, but they too are nothing but cloth. It makes Onsei wonder if they have any way of escaping sand storms that may or may not come their way. The roads are nothing but packed sand, the main one being laced with trading stand after trading stand. Despite being a town surrounded by sand, it's rather lively. The demon's gaze scours the area around them as they walk, looking for a bar first and foremost. Not only because he's thirsty and hungry, but also for the information he mentioned. Hmm....Any good and busy town would have a bar not far from any of the town's official entrances. And if not, they tend to be stationed near the center of the place. So where...Ah! "There's a bar over there. We should hit it up for food, a drink and information". But it's not like he waits for anyone to comply, far too focused on the fact that there's shade inside to notice if he leaves them behind.
Aislin glares at Hana, truly insulted by her words. She knows her life's worth damn it! Still as they come to a conclusion, she too begins to walk. It's a bit hard for her to do, seeing as she's petite and the sand doesn't co-operate with how she walks, constantly shifting and what not. She carefully eyes Aelita, not at all pleased with the human's body language. It screams out her reluctance to go along with this plan far louder than her words ever could have. But she's made happy as Aelita decides in the end to stick around, unwilling to let the rest of them sculpt the new world. "In fact," she backs Onsei up, "Bhunevelze can't control Chaos at all. I wouldn't say he's completely weak to it though". Like an excited child, she gasps at all the new sights and smells that hit her upon hitting the town. People from all over bustle this way and that, calling out in an attempt to get someone to advertise their goods. She handles the heat better than Onsei, though her ears and tail are disturbed due to the fact that they're covered in fur- luckily it's not black. Upon entering the bar, her purple eyes swivel left and then right, and then left again to find an empty table that would fit them all. However, the only place that could keep them all together is the bar itself. "Let's go sit," she suggests. Food and a drink sounds wonderful. Witnessing her last vision coming true really took a lot out of her, and she feels that a meal would do her some good. At the same time in her excitement, she grabs and drags along the nearest person to her destination, Malek. She clumbers her way onto the tall stool and looks around until an unfamiliar voice makes her ears flicker in that direction. "Oh, can I have a virgin bloody mary?" She asks of the voice's owner. She feels drawn to the man, though probably because she's never seen someone like him. With tan skin, red hair and eyes the color of gold, he's exotic looking to her. After all, she's never been as far south as they currently are.
Sora knows that look. It's a 'are you stupid or something?' kind of look. He realizes that his friend sees him now as a fool, seeing as he's siding with a bunch of demons. However, in his time in this virtual world, he has come to make friends with many a non-human. Being that anything non-human would die if they let Bhunevelze create a new world in his image, Sora would lose all those good friends. Something he dare not allow if he can help it. As it so happens, he's part of a group with two if not three massively powerful demons that CAN hep it. Meaning that if he sticks with them, then he's less likely to lose his friends. "To the town it is, then," he agrees with Aelita with little pause. After all, where the hell else are they gonna go? Surprisingly enough, he out of all three of my guys has the easiest time traveling through the heat. While his body protests against the sun's attention, he forces it to become mind over matter. This isn't his real body as is so dying isn't that big of an issue. He could also find a way to teleport to his friends if he wanted to after arriving at a random spot in the world. No matter. On top of that, deserts are a pretty common place to find higher bounties. Preferring to do one large bounty hunt over a bunch of little ones to make money, he's been this far south fairly often. The calls for them to check out this or that product fall on his deaf ears as he walks along with the others, trying to find not a bar but a library or school. Not surprising that neither of those are found anywhere near where they are. He quietly follows those that enter the bar and sits down, loving the feeling of the cool shade that embraces them all. When asked, he shrugs out, "Whiskey. Any kind". He leans on the cool bar table, focusing on nothing in particular. He doesn't know how to answer the redhead's question. Should they tell him? No? If they don't, how will they get information out of him?
It had been quiet but crazy day as usual for the owner of a simple little place called Chaos Rising. Second best bar in town- the other bar is just for those with nothing but money to spend. He on the other hand likes to cater to those who aren't made of money, and thus his stuff is incredibly cheap for being high grade. This man is a Arcangel, a rare and dying breed of demon from where he comes from- some animated action/adventure/mystery movie- while he looks demonic with piercing eyes and darker colored hair he tends to keep to himself and prefers to protect the weak instead of kill them. Today had been quiet as usual, until a shiver ran up his spine, alerting him to something new and unexpected. His eyes narrow and trail off in the direction this feeling originates from. Two very powerful demonic signatures are coming his way. There are others, but those two are the strongest. A third is stronger than the others, but no where near as powerful as the first two. For a second, he ponders on what he should do and how he should handle any trouble from those that are now entering his beloved Chaos Rising. Three men and three women, a total of six people sit at his bar table in a single row. Time to get to work he supposes. "What can I get you?" He asks the lot of them. He nods, quickly jotting down the virgin bloody mary, planning on getting the human a jack daniels whiskey and the tall black haired demon a zombie(three different kinds of rum, lime juice, falernum, Angostura bitters, Pernod, grenadine, and 'Don's Mix,' a combination of cinnamon syrup and grapefruit juice) as ordered.

Hana shakes her head and glares right back at Ainslin. No way will she ever give up her life so easily for humans to regain their former lives. It seemed like the earth was going to shit anyways, so if she must, she'll side with the poor planet Earth since she's heard of ugly things devestatingn the land made by humans in the real world from clients. Still, the elemental demon struggles similar to the vixen to keep up. She doesn't lack energy, even in this mercilessly hot desert. Even if she was tired, she'd refuse to show any weakness after resolving to what she did so stubbornly. She contemplated their plan as they walk, though there's not much more to think until they've gathered information. At first, she'd rather of gone to a library than a bar, but by the time they reach the town, even she was feeling parched. She agrees and darts into the bar that seems rather plain but busy. She sits down, and the dark skinned bartender gets a surprised look from her. Being as young as she is, she's had little experience with alcohol. "Um..." What's something she's heard the name of before so she doesn't sound like the baby she is. She comes up with nothing. "Can I just have some good red wine if you have it?" She cuts her gaze to Malek.
Malek walks along, gazing this way and that as they march. It's a long time to travel in this awkward silence. They've agreed to work together, but no doubt there's still bitterness between some of the individuals here. Aelita didn't even want to cooperate. Hana and Ainslin never made up and at least Hana seems to be rather irritable now with that in combination with this sweltering heat. He himself is rather pleased with it. You'll find not a drop of sweat on the Oni even by the time they reach the bar. The warmth is like a pleasant breeze against his skin, and she sand below his feet ripple with any real winds, dancing before his very own eyes. At the bar, he sits down and leans back in the chair. He gives a snide remark to those clearly pleased to be in the shade. "What? Can't handle a little sunshine?" His teasing grin faded as the waiter comes for their orders. He mulls over his options until Hana makes him nearly choke with stifled laughter. "Wine? In a place like this? Damn, Princess." He smirks, knowing he stole Onsei's own endearing pet name. "What makes you think a place like this has wine at all let alone good quality stuff?" He's not meaning the bar is a dump. He's just thinking that this is a desert, so there's likely no nearby vineyards. Of course, feel free to prove him wrong. He looks to the waiter. "Just get me some beer. The Princess here will have the same if you don't have any wine." Though he, and Hana, stare at a nearby strange woman who pipes in.
All the while, a certain snow-haired fairy is perched on a barstool, sipping on a glass of fine red wine (if I may Be inclined to do so. If not, then it's a red mixed drink she'll pour into a wine glass by the time she speaks to Malek and Hana.) she's been rather silent and mysterious: a stranger to this town really. She was dragged here by some rich fool when he heard she was nearby and his girlfriend hurt herself awfully bad. All the man's money now is nestled in her own wallet save for the small amount used to pay for her drinks. Pointed ears pick up even the faintest whispers in the bar. Any information to inspire her next move in her life here will do. Since she's from a place filled with betrayal and brutal fighting styles, it's been rather slow here compared to her manga life as a doctor for these senseless humans. She's been so bored, she's been considering stating a game in this seemingly isolated town. What stops her mind from wandering are the 6 newcomers strolling in from what seems like no where. She doesn't move an inch to peer at lot until the oni decides to call out the poor girl's request as being stupid. A small smile appears on her face for a moment before she turns around. Aqua blue eyes peer over to the two. "How mean of you to assume this fine bar doesn't have a little wine to spare, mister." She gives Malek an kind smile as she subtly swirls the red drink in her hand (whether it be wine or just a red mixed drink in a wine glass) as if he could smell the fragrance from his seat so far away.
Aelita silently wonders why Ainslin is so willing to give up her freedom, but she doesn't dwell on it long. She sticks close to Sora, a pouting look on her face as she thinks about just what she's agreed to. It was all she and Sora could do to fight off that damned man in the labyrinth a couple days ago. With out Malek and Onsei, she truly believes they'd never succeed on their own. Sooner or later things will change, and this world may very well end. She has to do what she can to protect the humans in the remaking of the world at the very least. She is hit the hardest of my lot by the trek through the slippery sand and blazing heat. By the time they arrive at the bar, she's parched and a little pink from the harsh rays of the Sun. "For this to be a mere game, it must be well planned if it even allows for sun burns," she mutters as she rests her head on the table. She's the last to place her order. And she asks with an astonished look, "How are you fools not thirsty?" She orders mere water. She refuses to get drunk here, and alcohol will only make her more thirsty.

Onsei had felt the arcangel the moment they stepped into the bar, but he was far too interested in a hard drink more than the possibility of someone being of equal power to himself. He grins as he takes his first sip of his zombie, the alcohol hitting him fast and hard enough to make his arm hairs stand on end. It's a nice feeling, the thrill that runs down his spine, induced by the spirits he just consumed. "Of course the pampered Princess would ask for wine," he chuckles out after swallowing. Interestingly enough, a complete stranger begins to talk to them, her blue eyes and light colored hair being not common nor uncommon to what kind of combinations he's seen over time. "I'll decide whether I think the wine is good enough for 'her majesty'," he finds the woman's words to be highly amusing. What an interesting introduction, "Why don't you give me a sip of yours and I'll make my choice after that". He takes another sip of his hard cocktail, again loving the thrill he gets from it. To the stranger's answer of Aislin's question, he pushes, "You sound like you know something. Care to tell us what it is?" The answer to this is....Interesting. The tone of his voice when he says the name of the subject suggests that he at least respects them. "Are you he local specialist on this sort of thing?" His offer just makes life easier and easier, however, "You're certainly nice to let mere strangers into your home. Are you that desperate to get laid by one of our women?" As usual when mocking or just plain making fun of someone, a smirk rests on his lips, eyes dancing with amusement. This amusement, however, dies almost right away as the insult is thrown back at him. He's honestly shocked that someone just so casually insulted him right back. Normally people wouldn't dare which means this guy has guts. And with how strong he feels to Onsei's senses....That's not a good thing. A frown is placed onto his lips.
Aislin notices the ease at which Malek traverses the sands before them as they make their way to the only town in sight. "Sorry," she rolls her eyes at his tease, "I wasn't made for the heat, I was made for temperate weather". She doesn't quite like the sudden introduction of the strange woman, finding that her self placement into their conversation to be rude. An ear flicks at the woman's voice, a mysterious lilt to it keeps her slightly on edge as she drinks her virgin drink. She personally hates alcohol, it messes with her visions, makes new ones or jumbles multiple ones depending on how much she's had. Being as small as she is, it doesn't take too much to get her buzzed at the least. "Well it is a desert," she supports Malek's statement. It would be pretty expensive to serve wine in a place like this tat's for certain. She CAN smell the wine, however, surprised to even find out that indeed the exotic man kept more than just makings of cocktails and mixers to go with them. Not trusting the woman enough that she can take her attention all the way away from her but not curious enough to pay attention to her, her eyes stay locked on the bartender. "Sir, may I ask you a series of questions?" His silent attention allows her to continue, "My friends and I here are looking to learn more about Chaos and Etros and how the two are interlocked with one another. You don't know where we could find a decent storage of information on that subject, would you?" She is honestly surprised by the answer she's given, "Would you be willing to show it to us? We'll pay you," and again his answer is surprising. When Onsei's insult is thrown back at him without a second's thought, she is left speechless. What just happened? Did.....Did Onsei just get told? She believes he did. She can't help but grin and laugh. THAT'S funny. She's NEVER seen anyone do that before.
The red haired bartender rose a brow upon hearing a request for wine. And though he was about to get her a bottle, he's brought to a pause on how to handle the order. Get her wine or give her beer?....Wine is what she ordered originally, however so that must be what she really wants. "We sell all years of wine," he informs the demon calmly, pulling forth a bottle and corking it to release a lovely aroma. Into the glass the wine goes and before the little demoness he places the glass. "You may," he replies to the young half vixen and listens to the first of her questions. "My own home holds many novels that cover the history and relationship between Etros and Bhunevelze. If you would like, you may all come to my abode and see them for yourself". Onsei's blunt insult annoys him. Of course someone would say something so idiotic and vulgar. It's only a slight surprise that the one to say it is the strongest one out of the six. "I only offered up my home because it is literally the only place within this desert where you'll find any information on Etros and Bhunevelze. Not only that, but it is obvious that both the other men and the women need a reprieve from a certain dirty minded baffoon. If your intellance isn't high enough to realize, I'm talking about you, sir". The insult is long winded obviously, but by the time he's done Onsei is frowning as mentioned. Midir watches as the demon lifts his zombie to his lips, finishes it off and then glowers at him. Not that he cares. He gives the human woman her water silently, the glass being tall as to quench her thirst with one cup. The vixen's laughter only makes him assume that the nameless demon he just insulted doesn't often get told off. Good, Midir silently enjoys ruining any asshole's day. His eyes flash to the male human before nodding, "The library had been demolished through the orders of the mayor that took over three years ago. However, a friend of mine requested that I save some of the books. It so happens that the books cover what you're looking for". He pauses, "If you would like a meal before you go, I can prepare one. If you would like to leave now, I suppose I could afford to close shop a little bit early".
"Hey, hang in there alright?" Sora cheers Aelita on as they traverse through the sand, up and down dunes, in the direction of the town they're headed for. It's obvious that the heat is hitting her pretty damn hard. "If you'd like, I can carry you on my back until we get there," ever the kind and somewhat naive man he is, he's willing to bear the small amount of extra weight. Whether or not she takes up the offer, he ends up chuckling to her statement about them not ordering water like her. "I've been to the desert a lot of times," more often than not because he got lost but he won't mention that, "So I'm pretty much used to the weather here. I don't know about the others". He sips at his drink, licking his lips to lap up the access alcohol that has made the rather tasty cocktail. This guy seems to know what he's doing when mixing drinks. He hadn't noticed the mystery woman there, her frame being blocked off from his vision by Onsei's large frame. So her speaking to them comes as a surprise that she even spoke up in the first place. "...He has to serve wine, that's what you've got there, isn't it?" He childishly insists. All the same, he guffaws at the fact that the bartender of all people just so casually and long windedly told Onsei off. That was great! He snickers at Onsei's displeased face, even if a murderous look is shot his way. He's having too much fun snickering to actually take into account that Onsei could easily kill him for laughing if he wanted to. Luckily he doesn't make a move to go through with that threat. As the bartender answers Aislin in the end he pauses to think. "So there's no library here? I thought there would have been. Or maybe even a school with information". He's left to wonder why the mayor had the library torn down three years ago then. "....I'm actually not all that hungry thanks". He DID snack before that incident with the kid and the alter hours earlier.

Hana's glare snaps back and forth between Malek and Onsei a few times. The bullies. She glances to the wine she gets with a little smile. "Thank you, mister," she says as after a small sip to taste it. Indeed, it's a pleasant wine with good fragrance and taste. She looks to the strange woman as well as she seems to remain interested in their groups. She's glad at least she takes her side, even if this girl is a stranger to them. Still, her eyes go to Midir as he explains a surprising amount of knowledge about the topic they're looking for. She beams at him as he so kindly invites them into his home. The smile turns into sheer laughter as Onsei doesn't get his way with his obnoxious bullying."thank you!" She cries out in between spurts of laughter. By the end, she couldn't hold herself up. She was doubled over as she barks more and more. Perhaps part of the reason is that she's barely touched alchohol and is a bit of a pipsqueak thag hasn't had dinner, so it may be the wine working fast in her blood to make the demoness tipsy. Once she settles down, a big grin is sent Midir's way. "Thank you for your kind invitation. I think after a snack, anything you have really, i will be taking you up on that unlike this ungrateful old pervert." She jabs a thumb towards Onsei before taking more of her wine into her stomach.
The strange woman sneers at Onsei as he insists on testing her drink. "Buy me another glass first, then I'll consider letting an imp like you put those sketchy lips on my glass." Her hand let's go of the glass, but it doesn't fall and break like it should. No, it seems to remain suspended in air where she was holding it to begin with. Why she does this instead of setting it on the table? To fuck with the minds of innocent fellow customers as if her tapered ears aren't a give away of her supernatural heritage. Her hands clap together as Midir invites the group into her home. "What a noble and generous man you are, mister Bartender," she tells him with a gleam in her eye. "I've been rather curious about chaos myself, though I haven't been looking. I might tag along." Whether they like it or not, she resolves to go. She stifles her own laughter unlike the welp doubled over the table at the older demon's failure. She can't deny that the look on Onsei's face is priceless. Her head tilts to the side with eyes slightly narrowed and focused and her smile still playing on her lips. "Those poor dears are probably dyin' to be around a nice gentleman like Mister Bartender here who lets complete strangers into his home. No matter if they're murderers, robbers, or those annoying little sprites that like to wreck homes and steal socks. It's rather foolish when you think about it." She finally takes her drink back into her hand for a sip of her drink.
"Nah, don't worry about it," Malek laughs off. "I was only teasing you." He waved his hands innocently. Malek honestly has nothing to say as his teasing was for not and the man in fact brought out a fine glas of blood-red wine. He just takes a long drought of his own beer. With half the bottle gone, he turns to face Midir as Ainslin asks about any knowledge pertaining to chaos. He's rather surprised to see this man so eagerly share his library and knowledge. He's suspicious, but says nothing as he's distracted by Midir slaying Onsei. He smirks at the archangel's comment, leaving Hana to laugh for him. "I like you!" He decides as he smirks to the bartender. Though he isn't to thrilled with the woman invites herself, and this his smile fades a bit. She's not so fun to have around, although that may be mostly due to her completely ruining his tormenting of his little charge. Still, he says, "I think I'll be ok with out food a while longer, but if Hana at least will order, I wouldn't mind a side of something as well. I don't care what. So long it's some what filling." He downs his beer along with any food given to him in mere seconds.
Aelita shakes her head at Sora. "I should at least be able to make it brought a lousy desert," she stubbornly insists. He's helped too much. She should at least carry her own weight. At the bar, she was happily sipping on her water until the strange woman bumped into their group. She doesn't have senses like Onsei, but the tapered ears and strange hair and eyes give her away as being at least not completely human. This is confirmed as she deliberately let's her drink hover in the air to reap the gaping faces of the few other customers in this bar. She idly thinks on how that is done until Ainslin asks Midir about chaos. His answer surprises him, and unlike Malek, she isn't completely distracted by the clever and satisfying burn dished to Onsei. "The woman isn't wrong," she finally speaks up. "You seem rather forthcoming about this information, maybe even eager. What are you playin at? Or are you simply believing that you won't be robbed or hurt by us."

Onsei waves the strange woman off, "Suit yourself. Though calling my lips sketchy is like a kettle calling a pot black". After all, the mystery woman and her sudden choice of joining them on gathering information is sketchy in and of itself. Those lips of hers are obviously skilled at twisting and stringing words upon a whim. He does not allow the bartender to keep him mortified, though it's obvious that the blow had been a harsh one to the sound master's ego. "I may be perverted, however it's not my fault that I actually have the ability to be open about my perverseness. You're really looking for a beatin' though. Opening up your home to the lot of us when you are only a single person". He doesn't bother to grab something to eat, not feeling the need to eat in the slightest. However he does demand for another zombie which is given to him with little to no hesitation. He downs half of it in seconds, though the alcohol has yet to take effect on his large body. He eyes the mystery woman as she makes her cup some how stay in the air suspended by something he cannot quite see. He knows there's something there, that's for certain. However what it is, he can't tell. He raises a brow. It took the guy forever to actually demand who they are, "I'm Onsei". Once those who ordered food are done, he stands. "Well, are you not going to cater to your offer or will you turn around and deny us access?" Finding the first clue is always the hardest, this he knows well and as such he's a bit eager to move along and get something done. He watches as Midir announces that the bar will be closing to customers who both protest or just go along with it. Once the customers are out, it's only a matter of getting out the door and heading for the man's home.
Midir's gaze turns to the strange woman whom he's honestly seen around town but never actually met until five minutes ago. "It is not foolish," he blandly contradicts, "I simply want to assist these people. If they wanted to harm me, they would have by now". Especially the baffoon. Apparently they honestly need the information he has or he would be fighting right now. None the less, he raises a brow as Malek decides that since he made a fool out of the big guy, he likes him. And yet he was looking ad Midir suspiciously a few seconds ago. No matter he supposes. "Very well," he nods to the three that take food. However before he can go and prepare food for them, Aelita's words catch his ear so to speak, drawing his attention to her. A human. Not surprising that a human is the most skeptical about his offer. But it's not unintelligent, as he is just a random bartender offering to allow six- plus the mystery woman making it seven- complete strangers into his home. It's a very clear give away that it could be a trap. Only he knows that he truly has no intention to harm them. He just wants to help those that need it is all. "Not at all," he tells the human woman, "You may very well try to kill me for I know. But no one has ever asked about Etros in the time that I've been here. Not even humans from the real world looking to rid the world of Chaos. If you want to know about Etros and Chaos, then I can only assume that you're onto something and believe it to be the answer that everyone is actively or not actively looking for". It is with that, that he turns and makes to make something filling. Two simple meat-potato side dishes and another made of simple finger foods for the vixen. As they eat, he speaks a question that he's been wondering since they came into his bar. "Before we leave, might I have your names? I am Midir". This also includes the mystery woman of course. Once everyone's introduced themselves for the most part, he nods to Onsei and comes out from behind the bar, leading the way to his home.
Aislin giggles lightly, "Very well then," she smiles out.It takes some time to settle down her laughter, as she really doesn't want to be on Onsei's bad side. But she manages it and will definitely never forget it. Still she can't help but be a bit excited that this man is so willing to share his information with them. It's a huge help and even if he tries to kill them at least they'll have the information they need. "Thank you very much! You have no idea how much help this is to us," she beams to the man. It's such a breath of fresh air, finding someone to help them without any obvious want to harm them. "If I could just have something that's fast to eat, that'd be great". It's after she's ordered that her attention falls on the mystery woman and her hovering glass, "How are you doing that?" In too good of a mood to put up some sort of front like she normally would, she eyes the wine glass with great interest. She nibbles on her food, drinking her virgin drink every now and then and finishing it off by the time the man now known to be Midir- a weird name to her but he is exotic to her as well so she supposes it matches him- asks for their names. Being the one to ask for information first, she gives her name first, "I'm Aislin, it's nice to meet you Midir". She literally hops off of the bar stool and struts her way out of the bar once Midir is set to go. It's odd that he doesn't lock the door behind him or anything. Maybe he trusts the citizens that much? Or maybe there's something else that she nor the others know about.
Sora shrugs lightly, "If you insist that you can survive then I'll believe you. But if you fall I'll catch you for sure," he sends her a friendly smile as they continue to walk. For the most part, he's happy just listening to the different conversations going on. After all, everyone is switching from person to person to talk to at a relatively fast pace. He prefers to just take it all in so that he can in the end understand it all. None the less he holds up a hand when food is mentioned, "I'm okay thanks," he assures. He's still rather happy that this man had so badly burned Onsei, their resident asshole. It makes him grin broadly and chuckle but nothing more really. Aelita, he feels, is a little too distrusting of the man. But Midir gives an explanation that is very understandable. "Desert people often don't try to take advantage of others," he informs Aelita, "The towns are like a giant family because everyone knows that they can't rely on something like 'survival of the fittest'". He too is curious about the mystery woman and how she makes the cup hover. However, he swears he sees the answer as a curtain shifts and lets some light in. Was that...a wire of some sort?...Nah, probably not. "Thank you for your help Midir," he agrees with Aislin in terms that this is a bunch of help, "My name is Sora". Once they're off and on their way to Midir's home, he falls silent for the time being again. There's not much for him to talk about after all.

Hana hiccups a bit after her own wine glass is emptied. She was quick to finish get off, but even in her slightly drunken state, she decided she needs no more to drink. She rests her head on her arms as they fold over table. Good eyes peer past her bangs at Midir as he explains himself to Aelita. Her control of wind helps her to sense somewhat what it is the stranger uses to make her drink seemingly float in air. She sure seems to enjoy getting a rise out of strange people. She boldly picks on Malek and even Onsei a bit, and while the woman doesn't watch the others directly, the sly smirk seems to hint at her enjoyment in such matters. Still, he seems like he has no hidden motives. It helps that Malek seems relaxed after Onsei is brought down a level. She trusts his judgement despite her spoiled, selfish princess-y attitude. As the others eat, the alcohol leaves her system as fast as it hit her. By the time Midir starts closing up the shop, she feels almost completely sober. By the time they reach his home, she's completely fine. It helps that she downed some food to fill her stomach probably. Though she nearly trips when she's caught off guard by Illya's question. Exasperation dominates her features as she looks over to her. "Why'd you come with us if you didn't even know what chaos was?" Th answer she receives is far from satisfying. She just scowls and looks down. She's not going to explain it to her if she's so stupid to come along like she did. She'll learn in Midir's home if she's truly so ignorant of what put her in this game to begin with.
Malek eats his own snack swiftly. He doesn't make a mess miraculously enough, but in a mere thirty seconds, his small meal is cleaned off his plate. He is glad it was so easy to find somewhere with information. Despite the silly human girl, he doesn't let the slight unease in his stomach lift. Even after Midir's explaination, he can't help but feel still a small speck of suspicion and doubt. Still, he finds it sensible to tell the man his name. "M'name is Malek." A thumb is jabbed at his little charge. "This classy little kid here is named Hana," he adds since she seems too drunk o answer him. The idiot. Anywho, he pays Illya no mind for the rest of their time in the bar. He gets up after the people are gone to stretch out his body. Many weariness melts away now that he's moved a bit. He tails along after Midir. What Illya says makes him scowl. She's kidding right? He cuts his gaze over at her. Big curious eyes peer right back at him and anyone else who cuts their gaze to her. She's just looking for a rise out of them all, right? Surely that's it. At the very least, he won't grace her with any verbal response.
Illya breaks into a brief laugh as Onsei says what he does. "Indeed," she responds before taking in the rest of her drink in one whole gulp. The glass is set on the counter like normal this time. She watches the human girl question Midir with such a great amount of distrust. A small smirk appears on the fairy's lips. She has followed this party all the way here on the mission so seemingly impossible as theirs, and no doubt she's been as distrustful and cautious all this time. She wonders just what has convinced her to stick with this mission. Even as the others seem further satisfied, she remains guarded and wary. It's not a bad thing, she supposed. Still, she thinks this group will be fun to watch hence her inviting herself along to watch them further. To Midir, she says, "And I am called Illya. It's nice to meet you Mister Bartender Midir." She gets up from bar stool. Still, she walks in the middle of the pack out of the door to head to his house. She lets the others pass her before picking. Up the pace to tail them all. Things get rather boring, so a small smile plays on her lips again as she plans some more fun. The smile fades, and she looks up to her new entertainment. About half way to Midir's home, she pipes up with a confident, curious voice. "So... Whats this chaos you lot are looking sniffing around for?" She tilts her head innocently as she looks everyone dead in the eye who looks back at her. She maintains this innocently curious persona as she gauges their reactions. Malek's was rather boring, and aelita's reaction was predictable and rather boring. Its Hana out of my characters that she enjoys most, as well as any of yours who's reactions are amusing in any way. To Hana, she mere looks with big, innocent eyes. That seemed only to make her more fun to watch. No wonder the Oni and the pervert enjoy playing with her. She's a princess indeed.
Aelita made it on her own to the bar somehow. She was about to ask him for help if the trek was much longer. At least the bar is cool and she has water to help her energize again since no doubt they aren't resting any time soon. As Midir explains himself to her, she doesn't seem the least bit satisfied. And she isn't. Sora helps her a small bit. He seems to be wise about these things unlike his sense of direction. She can at least calm down enough to finish the water she received. "My name is Aelita," she tells him. Once everyone is ready to go, she gets up. The boy slung on her back is adjusted for comfort before she marched off after Midir. She watches the town around them more closely as they go since she didn't pay much attention walking into the town. It seems like a quaint place where everyone coexists peacefully. That may be a very wrong observation, but it's what she sees at least. Illya receives a glare from the human the moment she asks about chaos. Aelita was already suspicious of her for tagging along, and now she's even more suspicious. If she doesn't know of chaos, then why pretend she does to tag along with them? If she does know chaos after all, why ask that stupid question? She seems rather deceptive, and people like that she couldn't care less for. She must be a demon that particularly loves messing with others. In real life, such mischievous creatures were sprites and fairies. She has no wings, but... Is it possible this Ilkya could be something of that sort?

Midir leads the group along silently after nodding to each person who offers up their name. He does not mind that Illya decides to tag along be it in order to learn something or keep up with a new source of entertainment. It seems to be the latter as the woman asks a rather stupid question. Having seen her personality in action for a short time, he only half doubts that she is serious about her question. The other half is tempted to gauge her as an idiot. Onsei's reply is simple, enough, he supposes. Though he doesn't really get how they plan to 'get their hands on' something that cannot be held. "Chaos is a substance that intangible like air but visible like smoke or fog. Anything it touches or resides around is most commonly driven insane. Anything living that is. Anything that does not breathe, however, is warped into something new and more often than not the opposite of what it originally was". To Aelita he admits, "I have a lot of time on my hands. I have read every book I have on the subject you're following me for. Having a photographic memory, I remember every detail down to the font it was typed in. Or if it's anything else, down to the very last detail". For the rest of his walk, he is silent, ignoring the people that silently question why he, as someone who tends to keep to himself as far as they know, is leading around seven strangers. Though they trust him for various reasons. His home is a simple but grand place, especially for this quaint little village. Instead of a simple building made mainly of sand and other substances and being small, his is about the size someone from the real world would have if they were high middle class. Two stories high and signs of there being a third below the sand, Midir's door is grass green, standing out against all the tan of the sand around them. It also is built wood and has glass windows instead of simple curtains and the like. He walks through with no hesitation, the door being unlocked already meaning he must have left it that way that morning just like he did with the bar. The foyer is simple, the floor being a dark gray stone and the walls a cream color and the ceiling being high and cathedral style. the walls are barren of pictures and the like, and while along the right wall is a set of stairs, the left leads to two doors, one at the end of the hall and one directly on that wall. He bypasses the stairs and takes that door on the wall. On the other side is a room with a wooden floor of a light tan color, where as the walls are a pastel blue with dark blue trim. On the right wall is another door, and the room holds lavish couches, placed here and there to make the room seem bigger' its ceiling is also cathedral style. Taking the second door now, he leads the way into what has turned out to be an in-home library. walls lined with large book shelves to the left and right. This ceiling is like the others but oddly enough has a sky light that makes the room nice and bright. In the center of the room is a single throne, made for someone even larger than he. It's carved out of elegant redwood, the cushioning lush and red like Midir's hair. "This is my library. Within here, along the entire left wall is all you will find on Etros, Bhunavelze and anything having to do with Chaos". He strides his way to his grand throne, it being the only source of comfort other than the floor, and picks up the book resting on the armrest. The title is in a language that none of my guys can read. He would have fallen silent from that point on if it weren't for the fact that Sora, after fifteen minutes of wondering it seems, speaks up. ".....Believe it or not, but I am the guardian of this little town," but only because they were in great need when he came here in his travels. They thanked him by making this place and as such he has lived here and protected the people. He only explains this should anyone ask. He does not mention that if need be, he would leave in a heart beat to help anyone in greater need than these people.
Aislin is swift to follow Midir, but stays at Malek's side and in between he and Onsei where she's most comfortable. She never did get an answer from Illya, making her all the more curious as to how the woman could make her cup float. But she leaves it for now. Her reaction may be boring to Illya, as she blinks before demanding, "Are you serious? Tell me you're not". Her brows furrow. She didn't know that those living that come in contact with Chaos go insane. How are they supposed to be able to contain and control it then without going insane? Well, more so, how would SHE do it? She's pretty sure Onsei himself is already insane, being the way he is. And Sora, well he's definitely insane though not as openly as the sound demon. She doesn't know about the others. Maybe Hana as she's not tried to beat up Onsei for all his teasing thus far. She's had plenty of chances to try it. Upon seeing Midir's home, her eyes widen and her jaw practically drops. Though she stays silent in her amazement compared to the truly childish reaction of Sora. She remains cool and collected as she can whilst eyeing this thing and that, confused as to why this building is made of wood and stone and glass instead of sand and cloth. Compared to the other buildings she's seen here, this place is a mansion. The library they're led into is massive to say the least. Much bigger than he made it seem. Her eyes spot the singular throne and she can't help but wonder if he has a bit of a superiority complex. She hopes he doesn't. "THIS is your library?" She confirms once he explains things to Sora. But she manages to take it as is and makes her way to the nearest bookshelf. The first book she pulls is called, 'Birth of Ero'. She doesn't get it. Why does the book say 'Etro' instead of 'EtroS'? She begins to read. The question is soon answered. Over time, apparently, mankind had slurred together Etro and Etro's (insert something of hers here, such as her blood), making her EtroS. She lifts her head after about an hour or so of reading, eyeing the man who sits in his throne reading a book labeled in a language she cannot read. "Midir?" His eyes catch hers, and she shows him the book. "I'm confused. You said that Chaos drives most living things insane, and those not living to become the opposite of what they were originally. But in here it says, 'Chaos is the blessing Etro granted mankind in the form of hearts, but is also dangerous because if unbound, it would turn the physical world into a timeless realm. According to legends, those who can harness their inner chaos can time travel, control monsters, and have visions of the future'. Can you better explain that to me?" She glares at Onsei who barks out laughter and says what he does. "Then you explain it to me!" As expected, Onsei shrugs and bluntly replies the way he does again. She glares harder.
But Midir has a proper answer, "He's on the right track," he offers, "You do go insane with power, some faster than most, if the inner chaos is not fully placed under your control. You have the book called the 'Birth of Etro'. For those of you that are listening, pay attention. Etro was born by the hand of Bhunivelze. While she had two 'siblings' called Pulse and Lindzei. They are not pertinent to what you're looking for so I will not go into full detail about them unless needed. Bhunivelze became all mighty as he is because he killed his mother and banished her to the world of the dead- the Invisible World or Unseen World. However, he could not reach that world, and fully wipe his mother, Mwynn, from existence. He also had not realized until it was too late that he made Etro to look like his mother, and took his anger out on her. Thus, she could not create like her siblings could. Pulse could create things on a whim, and created the real world everyone is trying to save. Lindzei however needed substance to work with, and as such when Etro tore herself asunder and retreated to Valhalla- the world between the Unseen World and ours- created man kind. Chaos festers in Valhalla- much like puss does in an infected wound-, where Etro resided until her death. She had been originally tasked with the duty of keeping the Chaos within Valhalla, using a doorway called Etro's Gate. But when Etro died, her Gate broke and the Chaos escaped and turned this world into a timeless zone, as well as made everything incorrect. Pay close attention now, Aislin, because this is another part that answers your question. Chaos is the physical manifestation of Bhunivelze's frustration and rage at being unable to reach the Unseen World and be rid of his mother once and for all. This Chaos originated in Valhalla, and was placed under the watchful control of Etro by Mwynn. Etro, having discovered that humans and in extention demons and the like were made of her blood, became fond of them. As such, she bestowed us all a piece of the chaos which in turn became our hearts. Because Chaos is made of Bhunivelze's frustration and anger, and our hearts are made of this substance, it is possible for those who let their hearts take control of what they do and why to go insane".
Aislin is silent, mind swirling with information. "Oh....That makes sense I guess". She turns back to her book, reading forth with a new insight of information.
Onsei laughs as he had been silently following Midir back to his home, when Illya decides to drop the bomb that she doesn't know what the hell Chaos is. Though to him he can hear the lilt in her voice that tells him that she's more knowledgeable than she makes herself seem. "Why don't you stay with us and figure out what it is?" He offers to the playful woman. Where as he doesn't like Midir all that much, it's obvious that he very much likes Illya. As they make it to Midir's home, he is neither impressed nor surprised. Honestly he had expected it to be something like this. Revealing himself to be the guardian of the town makes even more sense. Of course he would get a nice place like this one as thanks from the people he's saved. Though he smirks at the single throne, pushing aside his impressedness about the library for the time being. "Surperiority complex much?" Though he doesn't get much of a reaction, just a simple glance. Boring. The book he picks up is titled, 'He Who Shines'. In the beginning Bhunivelze had killed his mother, Mwynn, to take full control of the mortal world for himself, and Mwynn was sent into the unseen world. Despite achieving his goal of total control of the mortal world, Bhunivelze became troubled. He believed Mwynn had placed a curse on the realm of the living so that it would one day be destroyed and sought to destroy his mother once and for all, but was unable to reach the unseen world without giving up control of the mortal world. To find the entrance to the realm of the dead, Bhunivelze created the deity Pulse, tasked with searching the world for the door to the unseen world. Bhunivelze soon created the deity Etro, but became distraught to discover he had unknowingly created her in the likeness of Mwynn and gave Etro no powers. To replace Etro, Bhunivelze created the deity Lindzei, tasked with protecting the world and Bhunivelze himself. With the at work Bhunivelze put himself into a deep crystal sleep to be awoken when the door to the unseen world would be found. It is here that Onsei is pulled from the interesting book before him by Aislin's question. He smirks and barks out his laughter, "You don't get it?" Of course he would, having the book all about their ultimate target. When she demands that he explain what the explanation meant, he shrugs and shakes his head, "I don't feel like it". However, he finds himself engrossed by Midir's explanation on Aislin's question. Then he smiles silently to himself. He'll have to find a way to get this man to join them on their little expedition. Even if the redhead is weak as can be, he has all this knowledge within him. And if his memory truly is photographic, it'd work wonders in their favor. When the explanation is done, he nods once in understanding. Then he finds himself reading a short insert of what had just been explained within 'He Who Shines'.
Sora in the mean time introduces himself with a sloppy grin, reminding Midir of a happy go lucky child, "I'm Sora! Nice to meet ya!" And that's that. As they walk through the village, he watches as Aelita inspects the people, and waves at those that look at him but don't wave back. "They seem like they all get along pretty well, huh?" He tells the only human in the group other than himself. "Like I said before, this is like one large family. But because of this, they pretend not to be around strangers so if they're attacked, they can ambush and gather information faster. At the same time, desert people are naturally curious. The fact that they're not approaching us must mean that they really trust Midir". As they walk and make it to Midir's home, Sora is amazed, "This place is huge!" He beams out. And like the curious man-child he is, he looks around with wide eyes this way and that as they travel through Midir's unlocked home, tracking in sand without a care. He is left in further awe as Midir shows them his library, but wastes no time in looking around and instead heading to the left wall covered in books. Unlike Onsei and Aislin, he doesn't seem t pick up a book that's all that connected to Etro- or Etro as he later figures out. At least not directly. The novel he picks up is leather bound, and inscribed in it are the words, 'Sanguine Viri (Blood of Man)'. Instead of telling the story of Etro or even Bhunivelze, it tells of their initial creator, Lindzei. Lindzei was created by the god Bhunivelze who had destroyed his mother, Mwynn, to become the sole ruler of the world. Mwynn was banished in the realm of the dead but afterward Bhunivelze came to believe she had cursed the world to mean all things would one day die, including him. Bhunivelze wanted to destroy Mwynn in the realm of the dead and created three gods of his own: Pulse, Etro and Lindzei. While Pulse was tasked with creating the world Sora and Aelita know, and finding the door to the realm of the dead, and Etro was given no powers at all, Lindzei was tasked with protecting Bhunivelze from all who might want to destroy him. Bhunivelze crystallized himself to sleep until his creations would find the entryway to the world of the dead, but before doing this Bhunivelze gave Lindzei a special task: to wake him once the time would come. Lindzei and Pulse created many 'angels' of their own; Pulse to expand the world, and Lindzei to protect it. These 'angels' being people thought to be divine such as Jesus, Noah, Buddah and the like. Lindzei played a role in humanity's creation by using Etro's spilled blood after she sacrificed herself to attract their creator's attention. Along with creating mankind through Etro's blood, he/she is thought to be the creator of people's imagination and creativeness. Lindzei came to be worshiped as mankind's protector while Etro became known as the Goddess of Death, guiding the souls of the dead back to the world Pulse created, and making a new heart out of a different piece of Chaos for the new life. It's only after he's done reading about all this that he has to put the book down before his mind explodes. "There's so much information! I need a break," he whines loudly, not expecting to get any sort of reaction. he flops onto his back, having long since sat down. Everything is so closely intertwined, it's a wonder how people figured out that Bhunivelze is the 'God' many worship despite having been made by Lindzei, and their home by Pulse. And on top of that, Etro was the reason why none of them are living dolls, and the reason why no one can age or be born. He groans. It's too much for him.

Illya lets out a small laugh as she gauges the last of the reactions she was looking for. It's innocent, as is her expression as she turns it to Ainslin. "I wonder," is her answer to Ainslin's demands. She will never get a definite answer out of the little fairy. Still, Illya darts over the dry ground after her newest entertainment. In truth, she knows much about chaos, though not enough to be of any help like Mr. Bartender. Still, she beams to Onsei as he insists she come with them to learn about chaos for herself. "Really? You're gonna read out all the books for me?" Her eyes close as her smile widens into a joker's grin. Her response to the house is probably the first thing she doesn't bother smothering in deceit. "Fancy," She mutters. It's not the grandest, but it suits her personal tastes well enough. She doesn't openly look around the home as they enter, but she soaks in the details where her gaze is led by Midir. roams the book shelves, both the ones about chaos, and briefly the ones not about chaos to see the extent of his collection. The books on the top shelves interested her, though she had to jump for them. With a research journal regarding Chaos's origins in hand, she reads partially what she knew and partially what Midir recited. She laughs at the prospect of insanity. "So are you fools going to go insane trying to snatch this chaos?" She whistles at Hana's bold answer. "My, you're a confident demon. One so confident as you has to be a youngin'. You probably haven't even outlived the humans born at the same time as you." She laughs at Hana's mutterings.
Speaking of that Hana, she follows out of the door of the bar like everyone else. She listens briefly to both Midir as he explains his situation and Sora as he explains the nature of this town. How rare that people are so close as he describes it. It almost seems ideal for the little elemental demoness. If only they weren't in a dry, sweltering desert like this one. Still, aside from Illya's question, she remains silent and unconcerned about her or any of the others unless they were to approach her in some kind. At last, gold eyes peer into the distance at Midir's home. Despite the others, she's not all that impressed by it. It's certainly the best home in this little village, but it's hardly comparable to the architecture, size, and general grandeur of places etched deep into her memory. Unconcerned with the appearance, she idly follows Midir into the library to start her research. Here, she finally shows something beyond that idle demeanor. She skims the books before her, searching for even the slightest relevance to their objective. Though it all intrigued her curiosity. She ends up picking up a book, but it seemed rather vague. All it elaborated on was exactly what Onsei and Midir read and described. She frowns at the notion of being driven insane. "So it is possible obtain chaos then? If there are records of them being driven insane in the first place?" She cuts her gaze to Illya as the mysterious lady insists on questioning their actions. "Who are you to question us? We want chaos for ourselves, and we will get it with out being driven insane." She smirks at her outburst of confidence only for it to crumble as her age called on once again. The smirk hardens as her eyes narrow at the woman. "Surely you must be as ancient as Onsei to say that," she mutters under her breath.
Malek smirks himself as Ainslin insists on getting answers from Illya about her questioning. He's calmed himself down some from the initial shock. While he is still skeptical, this trickster of a woman would obviously enjoy getting a rise out of them, and that's what this question would surely bring about. Still, it's amusing to listen to her play along with even Onsei's antics. Maybe they'll just keep playing with one another and spare the rest of the party. Once they arrive at the house, Malek glances up in wonder at the pristine home, it being rather uncharacteristic of this town let alone this land. Hana may show no hint of being impressed, but he can appreciate just how much went into this home. The villagers obviously care about him as Sora mentioned to the little human girl - Aelita. Once inside, he notes the section of the wall designated solely for the subject of chaos. "Even for one so bored as yourself," he tells Midir as he observes every book on the subject in detail, "You seem to have a keen interest in Chaos." Anyone ought to be curious about the thing changing their worlds so much, he supposes, but this man seems to have a thorough collection. He hates reading boos idly, even for a mission like this. He picks up a book read and skims the pages, though he becomes so bored that he hardly retains any of its contents. What he learns is from Midir's explanation. It's all one big jumbled mess, but it's a mess they must sort through if they want to find this chaos. "Perhaps we can see where exactly previous encounters happened and we can potentially find a location. What if we tried to find this gate you spoke of?"
Aelita looks keenly to Sora as he mentions the usual behaviors of a town like this. It really is rather impressive that they're so close to one another and so trusting of Midir. It soothes her wariness about him a bit, though it's not by much. Cautiously does she tread along side Sora the entire trek to this man's house. It's size is a rather comfortable one for the little human girl, and the library makes her light up with a smile. The amount of books in here could entertain her for the rest of her normal life. For now, she focuses on the books Midir claimed to be relevant to their cause. She herself gathers a stack of interesting books. She skims the first one, though it's rather redundant as it repeat's Midir's answer to Ainslin's question. The rest of it still rests on the floor beside of where she sat down to be read. I'm not really sure what all to add about the information as I know nothing. So, I'll save those for if they're needed. Still, the mention of chaos making people insane worries her. "Is there any way to ward off insanity besides remaining cold and emotionless as you've described?" Most of the individuals here are rather impulsive. She deems herself the most analytical and logical, and even she can make choices with the "heart" from time to time. "It would be ideal to have a means of protecting ourselves from its effects in case one of us were to act on impulse."

Midir watches closely as the group interacts with one another, saying small things here and there or just walking with a particular person telling him more than their words could. Onsei's taunt towards him having a throne and a possible superiority complex only slightly annoys him. This throne was a gift to him from a traveler he saved and housed until they got better. Just because it's more grand and larger than needed doesn't mean he has such a complexity. That would be pointless. However as he is further prompted to explain again, he meets Hana's gaze this time. "It is possible to obtain Chaos, yes. And yes it has the potential to drive people insane. However there is a middle ground- a hypothesis of mine. Chaos is something you absorb into your person, but cannot be released afterwords. As your heart is literally made of Chaos, that which you take in will reside there. Getting rid of it would probably be detrimental to your health. The insanity would kick in at some point, probably depending on your state of mind before and during the absorption. Whether you can keep your sanity or not is entirely on you. Those that have tried and failed to take the Chaos have all failed at keeping their sanity, thus leading to their own deaths". Hopefully that answers the demoness' question. But then he is prompted by the human girl and Malek and this pulled from his book again. "The only place you can obtain Chaos properly is most likely Valhalla. Other places have been tried, those who were to absorb the Chaos died instantly though it is unknown why exactly". He ends up nodding to Onsei's suggestion as it makes sense. " Never the less, I can direct you to the places where it has been tried," he pauses upon hearing Sora's offer, "That would be a little easier I suppose. However is it just you who are in favor of it?"
The tall black haired sound master smirks to the trickster of a woman, "I don't see why not. You're interesting enough". He turns down Aislin's warning, "But you didn't see further than the place with the kid. She can come. It could be the right thing to do. You don't want to risk being wrong and messing things up, do you?" He finds amusmentnin the young vixen giving in swiftly. Being the not so considerate man he is, he doesn't ask for the others' opinion at all. Hell, the thought to do so doesn't even cross his mind. "Don't be upset that you're still just a baby compared to us, Princess," Onsei's chuckles out as Hana grumbles about Illya's possible age. "Maybe you should grow up a bit more if you're going to whine". Never the less he listens closely to the explanations given. " And Etro's Gate? About about that? It IS the only way into Valhalla, correct?"
"Was the only way," Midir corrects, "With Etro dead, her Gate no longer exists. But I would assume that the only way to Valhalla is if we found where the Gate once was. That should lead us into the world between the Mortal World and the Unseen World".
Sora, too unwilling to read anymore, listens to the information given to them through questions and answers. At some point, though, he falls into his own train of thought. It's not completely relevant to right now. It's just that it could turn out to be a good idea. After a moment's pause, he suggests, " Midir, would you like to travel with us? Help us take control of the Chaos and make a new world? One where demons and other creatures thought to be myth and fantasy will exist at the side of humans?" The redhead seems fairly noble. Could this cause be worth leaving a place where is is well respected if not loved? "See? Aislin thinks it's a good idea too".
Upon hearing Onsei's offer to let Illya join them, she tugs on his sleeve, "I didn't see her in anybof my visions...Her joining could mess things up". But his retaliation is sound, making her back down. It's true that she hasn't seen anything passed the point with the boy and the altar. "So what you're saying is that our goal has the possibility to succeed but only if we don't give in to the insanity? Which means that we don't have to be cold and unfeeling but instead in control and aware of our feelings at all times?" She earns a nod that shows her that she is correct. This pleases her greatly. Sora's new suggestion leaves her spinning a bit as well. Not him too! But, she remembers Onsei's earlier words and doesn't say anything until prompted. She does her best to look at things logically. "You're so knowledgeable that it would be stupid to not ask you to join us. Not to mention rude since you've helped us so much thus far". She pauses one more time, "But.....If I may ask....What are you? I'm a half fox demon if that helps any".
Midir slightly tilts his head when questioned of his species. Is it really necessary for him to tell them? It's nothing major but the request is somewhat out of nowhere. But, seeing as mentioned it's not an issue to tell them, he allows this information to leave his mouth freely. He eyes the strongest two demons in the room for a moment, wondering if they will assume incorrectly. "I am an Archangel".

Hana's irritation isn't spared on Onsei. She cuts her gaze over to him. "I'm a grown demon, thank you!" She was to say more until Illya got invited to travel with them. "No way! Even if Ainslin hasn't seen this far, that women is nothing but a trickster! We've been given no reason to trust her!" Even with out her bitter dislike of the stranger, she has valid reasons to remain skeptical. Though it appears her protests are simple blown to the wayside as Illya happily announces she'll be tagging along. A scowl rests on her face before returning it to Midir. He seems nice. At the mention of him being an archangel, her eyes widen. "Really? Archangels are real?" Curiosity crept over her. "Where are your wings? Do you have wings?" She idly wonders what Illya could be. She doesn't seem very strong or intimidating. Midir, Onsei, and Malek all seem to display the power they weild. Even if she was trustworthy, what good can this person do for the group, they wonder?
Illya keeps that grin on her face as she laughs and nods to Onsei's invitation. Hana and Ainslin's protests are so cute, too. She overrides Hana with, "Ah! Then I get to see how this little adventure play out!" She laughs and puts her hands on her hips as though this was something to be proud about. She adds, "this mighty demon here truly has the best sense among you, it would seem." Like Hana, she shows interest in Midir's race, though it's not genuine. No, she just fakes it. "Ooh! Mister Bartender is such a regal being indeed. This house truly befits you now knowing what you are." She smirks at Midir, crimson eyes looking him over for any signs of those wings since that really intrigued her as well.
An eyebrow twitches on Malek's forehead as his ears pick up the sound of obnoxious Onsei inviting along that troublesome little demon. Why? Why did he do that? He sides with Hana for once, and but it seems that hey are both overruled as Illya heartily agrees to Onsei and possible inflates is overly-egotistical self even more. He sighs. This will be a pain in the ass. At least Midir will be a welcome addition to this little circus. He's sensible. "You're more than welcome to join us, Midir." He says to agree with Sora when the human is questioned about others' opinions. "At least with you around, we have a more knowledgable guide about what it is we're trying to do." Otherwise they'd be roaming aimlessly until doomsday. The only one not seemingly interested is....
Aelita pales at the thought of two more demons joining. Oh sure, midir isn't bad. He's not even a demon of sorts. But he still isn't human, and Aelita doesn't trust him so easily as Sora. She remains silent while others protest or agree. It seems that everyone is on board to have Midir along, and like Malek, she knows they will find his knowledge useful. Illya is the true wild card. She narrows her eyes at the woman. "Look here, demon. If you cause even the slightest mistake on this search, even if you slow us down with out any reason that'd be advantageous to us, I will kill you myself." Her hand twitches towards her handy bow as if to show she's serious. Though Illya merely laughs and says, "oh what a terrifying little girl!" Aelita resists the urge to shoot her right there. She looks back to Midir. "Ok, angel. Where do we need to go to next?" Where would lead them to where the gates once were.

"You are?" Onsei pushes, eyes bright with amusement. With that wet blanket of a bartender not playing with him, he's quite happy that Hana is still very willing to lash out. "But you're so tiny!" But then again, he's rather tall, so of course she's short compared to him. He nods, mood switching to something that's supposed to look serious, though there's a smirk on his face, as Illya announces that he of course has the most sense of the group. "There we have it. We got two more friends joining us," this is going to be fun, with this playful woman at his side to terrorize everyone else. Or even just banter back and forth with him, that would be fun too. He raises a brow however as the redhead announces his species. "Silly little Princess, Archangels are as real as demons," he coos to the elemental mistress almost cruelly. Though he, like she, is rather interested in where the man's wings might be. Where he's from, an Archangel isn't an Archangel unless they've got some working wings and massive power reserves. And while he carries himself like he has the latter, the former has yet to be shown. He laughs to Illya's taunt about such a grand home for someone as wonderful as Midir in a little desert home, "I bet THAT'S why he has a throne. Because no other chair is good enough". He pauses, listening to the redhead speak before prompting, "Go on then, show us these incredible wings of yours". He won't believe it until he sees it. On top of that, he doesn't expect the apparent Archangel to actually comply. He, after all, doesn't seem like the kind to show off and showing them his wings would be doing just that. the sight before him is grandiose to say the least. He has seen multiple Archangles in his time, being the ancient creature he is. However, he has only seen a sight like this one other time- that person had died of an illness years ago. On top of that, he has never seen feathers so...RED. Onsei can practically taste the power that now thrums off of Midir as he stands there in all his red winged glory. There is no way in hell that the man before them would not be a good addition to their team. Moments after the small show is over, he listens to the knowledgable avian. "Last I checked, it was impossible to actually do that," he denies. Though he would very much love to be wrong, in this case being right would be disappointing.
Midir is silent as the group seems to fuss over the fact that Onsei invited Illya to join their little grouping without so much as consulting the rest of them. Not that the mysterious woman minds, apparently as she happily accepts as though it would be some sort of grand adventure filled with all sorts of entertainment. He is glad to have made sure that the others would be fine with his joining them as well, preferring to not get in the way of any sort of relationship any of them have with one another. From his view point, though, this group looks....Thrown together so to speak. As though they were a group of mercenaries hired to work together by some wealthy man, and only dealt with one another so that they could get paid at a later date. Aelita only further supports his thoughts as she so cruely threatens Illya's life. An unnecessary movement on her part, though being human he can only assume she doesn't like being out numbered four to one with the odds being against her race. If he were looking to steal away that sort of feeling from her, he could mention that his odds are even worse; he is the only one of his kind in his new group of comrades, not that he feels insulted in the slightest. "Very well, he states after a moment's pause, "If you feel it is best, I will assist in your endeavor". He only assumes that this also means that he will get a peace of the Chaos they aim for. If that is what he must do in order to make the world that Sora has described to him, a world that is rightfully sought for, he will help with all of his power at hand. His wings? The attention draws from what's at hand to a new subject: his wings. He meets Illya's gaze, not at all pressured by those red eyes of hers. However, Onsei's blow to his pride as an Archangel is something he cannot allow to go unstraightened. "Very well," he repeats. He removes his black and white half sleeved coat that only sits on his shoulders for protection from the sun rather than warmth or fashion and drapes it over an arm of his throne. Releasing his wings is as simple as breathing for him. Because of this, the feathers that rip from his skin- that naturally stitches up immediately afterwords- with an almost sickening squelch bring him not even the slightest hint of pain. His wings are massive, needing to be should they want to carry someone his size into the sky. Though one may find it amazing that such large appendages could hide within him. It's an Archangel thing, normal Angels cannot hide their wings. As Onsei took note of, they remain to be the most pure red that he has ever seen in his long lasting life. Like any good angel wings, they have a sort of grace to them, folding perfectly half unfurled and feathers perfectly layered over one another. He says no words as he just lets the others stare or look at his wings as they please. Falling back to the matter at hand, he sits with his wings shrinking back into his body. He only releases these wings of his when needed. That is, when the full force of his power is to be called upon. "We will have to travel to the real world," he announces after a long moment's pause. He shakes his head, "It is very difficult to, but it is possible even for those like you and I. For Sora and Aelita, it should be fine for obvious reasons, however". He pauses and looks to Sora, "I do not recall humans ever using the same door that demons and other creatures attempt to use in order to enter the real world and surviving". Though if they were to survive, it would keep them from returning to their real bodies and keep them from dying forever.
"I thought Archangels were a myth," an honest to god myth. Aislin sighs, displeased by the fact that Onsei went and did something without asking the others' opinions...Again. It's a habit she had been trying and failing to break him free of since they started traveling together. Nothing she's tried has worked thus far and now Illya is around to back him up. Her ears fall back, showing that she isns't too happy about this. However as Onsei places a large hand between her ears and ruffles her hair and tells her 'relax, this will be fun' she cannot help but stiffen and blush lightly. "Shut up," she grumbles, doing her best to slow her hammering heart. It helps that seconds later Midir has decided to give in and show them proof of being what he is. She simply put is amazed and proved wrong that Archangels are indeed not a myth. At the very least, Midir is real and he exists. Which means somewhere there may be more of his kind. "Your wings are beautiful!" She exclaims to the exotic man, violet orbs right and shining with amazement. Oh how she'd love to touch them! Maybe even weave a feather into her hair! Alas, she doesn't dare ask for a feather, fearful and fairly certain that that would be an insult to the powerful drink mixer. Her attention falls back to the words at hand. "....Go to the real world?....Why? How?"
"Because this world is nothing but a fabrication of man's creation. Valhalla is not connected to it," Midir explains to the young vision bearer. "We will be going across the land- far west- to find a very special doorway that will allow us to get there".
Sora in the mean time beams as Malek backs him up when he invites Midir to join them. He had been a little unsure as to whether that was a good idea or not. However, much to his pleasure, the others thought it was as well. At the mention of Midir being an Archangel and prompted to show his wings, Sora is rather interested. He head heard of Archangels in his travels but had never actually seen one. He doesn't remember the name of it, but he had seen an anime series/movie, he thinks, that probably contains Malik and his race. It simply interests him because such a circumstance has never happened to him before until now. Aelita's reaction to Illya joining the group worries him greatly. Why wouldn't it? For such ill intent to rest within the woman towards someone that is now an ally...It's dangerous. "Aelita," he tries to calm, placing gentle yet firm hands on her shoulders from behind her, "Please calm down. It's not good to fight with new allies. I know things haven't been going well by your view of things but I promise everything is going to work out. Illya won't hurt us," he glances at the playful woman. "...And if I'm wrong, I'll help you kill her," he vows carefully. Still as the wings are brought forth, he completely throws his serious mood in turn for staring in awe at the feathered appendages. "Holy cow they're HUGE!" He exclaims, arms thrown to the sides as though to depict their size. Wait a minute......He knows those wings for sure. "Wait...You're from Watashi no Tamashī Ni Iji Suru(My Soul to Keep)! You're THAT Midir!" He KNEW he recognized those wings anywhere. Sora feels a bit odd, knowing all about this man despite being a stranger in reality. He knows of the man's position in the anime series well, seeing as he was a major supporting character. After all, he had been the highly protective and dutiful older brother of the main male protagonist. Not only that but, if Sora remembers correctly, Midir had actually killed his little brother's 'lover' whom was actually a human woman that captured the brother's heart and planned on revealing their whole race to man kind...Which would have been bad. And that was only a subplot. He was one of the only ones that DIDN'T die; it was a tragic series with an excellent story line. The risen brown from Midir causes him to shut his mouth. No need to spew information that doesn't need to be spewed he supposes. Back to being serious, he pauses, "You're not talking about THAT gate/door, are you?" The single nod makes him sigh. Despite being only a human and rather boyish, Sora actually knows a whole lot about this world and where exactly it connects with the real one. He WAS a mercenary after all. His job took him all over the place and allowed him to experience dozens of things far beyond his understanding. "That's gonna be really difficult to get to....Let alone get through". That is, if the path to it has remained as he remembers it.

Hana continued to hold an irritated gaze on Onsei as the bastard decides to bring her height into the insult this time. It's true that she has yet to meet smaller aside from dwarves (and Ainslin if she's less than 5'.) "No, you're just a damned, lumbering old giant." She adds under her breathe, "Wrinkled old fart." Her gaze finally tears away as she looksto Midir in awe. For once she's not even phased by Onsei's comment. She newly says, "Angels don't even exist in my world. I only heard of angels, let alone archangels, when I arrived here in this game world. You, Midir, have amazing wings." Her hands twitched as she urged to touch the feathers. No doubt they'd be warm, soft, and she could probably feel the power of his wings even better. He's a powerful, sound, pleasant fellow though perhaps a bit serious. He's a welcome addition unlike Illya. As if she's not already lit up with curiosity, the prospect given to them about going to the real world makes her beam. "Really? We can go into the real world? That's exciting! Where are we supposed find the portal to the real world?"
Illya laughs at all the disapproval from her new "friends." Aelita topped it with her threat. She waves a hand and giggles at the human as she only seems to fume afterwards. In all reality, she knows she's strong, and she feels she could make herself a powerful ally for these overly cautious fools. "Looks like even you and I get to see each other more, Midir." She sounds sincere, though her eyes remain playful. As the wings are revealed, she lets out an "ooh". "Indeed you really are a regal fellow, my friend." She watches them with a keen interest even as they start to recede back into his back. She only wonders what powers this boy has. In time, surely he wil show them in time. As he announced a trip to the real world, she for once has no real comment. She's held no interest in the real world. If they have to invent the likes of all these games and magical stories, surely must be boring. But perhaps it isn't too bad if something so neat as Chaos is to be found by growing through it.
Malek is the only one of my characters to remain impassive as the brilliant red wings show themselves. He's impressed, but he won't show it for the likes of these people to tease him. He tilts his head back as he takes in the events that unfolded. They discovered a way to claim chaos. They had two new additions to the group. Only one of them is someone he can tolerate and even like. The other... Well... He had half a mind to say asAelita did, but he won't now that she did. "The new world, huh?" How does it look? This real world? He could have guesses based on his own past and its setting, but it could be a bit behind in time. That's not mentioning what ever chaos may have done to the new world. The oni nudges Ainslin and smirks. "What do you think the real world will be like, huh?" He asks this to her as a means to spark conversation mostly.
Aelita at first seems like she's not respond to even sora as she stares at the woman, seething. It's a minute later when she realizes she had a hand on her shoulder. Brown eyes tear away and land on sora. The tension fades away slowly, and she sighs out to speed it up. "I'm not fighting. I'm warning her." She tells him flatly. She still doesn't trust Onsei, Hana, Malek, or even Ainslin completely. Even if Midir is such a grand thing as an archangel, she remains skeptical of his motives. Though not one of those is nearly as much of a wild card as Illya. She's served no purpose yet other than to play with Onsei's antics, therefore making them worse. Still, she startles a bit as red wings burst forth before her eyes. Despite her nature, she can't help but look in awe at the sight of the pretty wings. She wanted to touch them more so to make sure they're real. She resists it, mostly since the angel focuses on the task at hand after showing them. "Shall we go then? Or do you need time to take care of any unfinished business?" She asks him.

"A lumbering giant that can kick your sorry ass," Onsei beams out. In the end, he watches with interested eyes as the man lets his wings recede. Something they seem to do in seconds. He wonders morbidly how badly it would hurt to have those wings ripped off. Would they grow back? None the less, he tilts his head to Sora, "You know about this portal? How do we get there?" The human's explanation is easy enough to understand as it is. Still, he follows Midir as he leaves his home. "You said that it's gonna be hard to get there," he demands Sora to explain, "How hard? Tell me there's gonna be fights". He's itching to kill something. He hasn't been in a fight since the day he and Aislin met Malek and the Princess. Though honestly that wasn't much of a fight. More like a slaughter. Upon hearing Midir's explanation, he pauses, "So we've gotta break the barrier from around the portal temporarily? How?" That explanation annoys him, "Sounds stupid," though it's said with a grin. As they walk, he shoves his hands into his pockets. "We can't teleport there?" He questions after a moment. Sora's answer doesn't please him. The walk is long and hot, not that he really complains, walking easily through the sands with his head held high. However, after about two and a half days of walking, camping and walking some more he finds himself relieved that they've hit a town. A city built on an oasis actually opposed to where they last were which was a dry and barren land. The buildings here are actually made of stone and have glass windows. Grass lines the pathway they walk on as they make their way to the nearest bar. This time more so for a real meal- rather than a campfire one- and some drinks. There, he settles onto the high backed chair at the table they take over. "So explain to me again," he demands lazily, "What do we have to do to bring down the barrier around the portal?" Why they have to break it in the first place is easy to understand. The bar is loud and prosperous like the rest of the city, complete with hookers and people laughing drunkenly even though it's only ten in the morning.
Midir raises a single monotone brow at Illya as she speaks, "So it would seem". He's not impressed by her false complements though he does appreciate the complexity of her words and facial expressions. Is she smiling because she wants to or is that how she feels? Is the playfulness real? Or is that just a mask? He hasn't met a complex person in a rather long time so of course he's curious about her. However, he stands and shakes his head, "I have nothing I need to take care of here," he offers to Aelita and makes to leave his home. "The people will accept that I am not returning the moment I step out of this little village," he concludes. Walking out of his home and passing person after person, he keeps his eyes straight. He had no need to talk to anyone here. And although they may be upset that he won't be returning, it is for the best. He had been planning on leaving in a year or two as it were, feeling that they didn't need his protection any longer. This meeting with the others has only sped up the departure process. Though he will kind of miss his bar. It was a nice little place. He listens to Sora as he explains what they'll have to do just to get to the village that protects the portal from people like them- or those with worse intentions. "The tasks we will most likely be forced to perform will be slightly difficult. With each failed attempt to break the barrier, a new task is added on, and as mentioned you have to do all the previous tasks over again. Currently, there are not that many tasks as they in themselves are as mentioned". The second question is easily answered, "By doing all the tasks appointed to us in perfect succession and absolute timing". He nods to Sora as he adds on to the large man's words. Upon making it to the oasis city, Midir finds himself ordering some food and sitting directly next to the little vixen of the group. He had been hoping that that would stop the women from flocking to him; it didn't work.
"Kro(pronounced as Crow)! Long time no see!" The woman that literally slithers her way up to him is one with a snake lower half and human features the rest of the way. She is a well developed woman, with lovely light blue hair, a darker blue tail and tapered ears. "I was hoping you'd come back to visit us earlier and you actually came! What can I get you and your beautiful friends?" This woman, mind you, is not a hooker- though those not preoccupied by other guests do eye the men and some of the women at their table. The group is obviously not normal, so of course they'd get interested gazes and the like.
Midir raises a brow as she places a cool temperatured arm around his broad shoulders, fingers running up and down what flesh they can touch, "Hard Lemonade for me is all. I would also like one of everything on the menu if you would".
"Ever the big eater I see, Kro. What about the rest of you? Sweetheart, do you want anything?" She looks to innocent little Aislin who opens her mouth to answer, though Midir doesn't allow it.
"Lemonade for her," he demands.
"Okay! And everyone else?"
"R-Right, warning," he repeats Aelita's assurance, "I just don't want you getting hurt is all," he tells her even though no real fight would have broken out. To Onsei, he nods, "Yea. All my traveling has lead me there once or twice". Though he doesn't mention that both times he ended up there because he was lost. After all, he doesn't get lost. "It's going to be a lot of desert traveling. We have to go almost directly west and we can't even use anything that can teleport to get us there. Let alone near there. This desert is filled with all sorts of deadly creatures. I think we're on the calmer side, though. The more west we get, the more monsters. I think there are even dragons and demons and the like there too". Sora is sensible enough this time around to get just sun tea and some food though he gaped when Midir asked for one of everything on the menu that hung from the bar's ceiling, wording large and spread out for all to read by just a glance. Even so, there's a lot on that menu. Can he really eat it all? None the less, he tenses when a waitress walks passed their table, one of her many arms reaching out to trail a finger along his shoulders. Spider demoness. He's beyond glad he didn't get to see her face as it most likely had eight eyes. Whilst waiting for his food, he looks to his human counter part and grins, "By the way, I don't mean to creep you out but where are you from in the new world? I was born and raised in Saudia Arabia but I had moved to Kyoto Japan to work on my kendo. I can't wait to see it again though I hope the people are doing okay. I mean, as okay as they can be doing what with being unable to age and the end of the world coming along. I wonder how far long we have until that actually happens?"
Aislin listens diligently as Sora and Midir give information to them all. Having known Sora for longer than just this expedition, she isn't surprised that he's so knowledgeable about what has to happen for them to get to the human world. The human world is a mystery to her, unknown and she very much would like to go see it. Though she realizes that she and the others may be viewed negatively due to them being different. At the same time, if there's information about how to get to the real world, then other demons and the like have to have made it there by now. So surely the humans that wait for things to either end or go back to normal are used to seeing girls with tails and ears, or men with horns or people with powers in general. "I don't know," she beams to Malek excited as they begin their departure once more, "But I hope it's at least beautiful if nothing else! I want to see what Aelita and Sora have seen, smell what they've smelled! Oh! I wonder what real world food tastes like!?" Just thinking of her has her practically skipping as she walks at the tall oni's side. "Do you think horses are still around? I've always wanted to ride one!" Horses in this world run away from her, smelling her demonic blood. Maybe the real world horses won't? "What about you?" During their travels, she occupies herself by talking with Malek and Midir off and on, talking about the simplest of things to more complex things like visions she's had in the past or possibilities of the future. She is happy that she hasn't had a vision since their time in the labyrinth. The city built on the oasis is beautiful to her eyes that had grown very tired of seeing nothing but the dry blue sky and the even drier tan sand dunes. Green has never been such a lovely color before! However, the wild bar is slightly daunting, having never been one for crowded loud places. The sight of women openly letting men touch them is also a little disturbing. Even more so is this snake woman's actions towards Midir. But, she's a big girl and as such she forces herself to remain calm when she asks if she wants something to eat and drink. Though Midir answers for her, oddly enough. "By the way," she questions the exotic redhead, "Why was she calling you 'Kro'?" A part of her worries that he may have been lying to them about his name.

Pfft. Just jump over and ask Akira. She'll tell you. Anyways, Hana listens to the explanation of how to get to the real world and how th break the portal as they walk. She's had enough of this dreary, dry town, so she has no wandering gaze on the way out. The heat won't be fun, but the mention of monsters and demons to fight perks her up. She can prove herself against these bastards! A smile plays on her lips at the thought. "Ah, fighting those monsters will kill time, I suppose." The interest flickers over to annoyance as Malek says what he does. "Careful, pervert oni. I just might drag you out there as a living shield while I fight." She's not so low as to really back up that threat unless Malek really just pisses her off, but she smirks as Malek seems to subdue his smart mouth for the most part. Over the course of the walk, she strips water from the ground and plants where ever they walk by them for herself and whomever is decent enough to ask politely. And just for Onsei, any smart mouth comments earn him having any water he gets from her yanked right back out of his mouth/stomach and onto the sand. At the new town, she's pleased to see the shade and bit of water. Hana sat near Onsei, because why not? She looks to the snake lady and days, "I want juice and anything, meat and/or vegetables and fruits, that's fresh." Seriously. Some fresh, good food sounds amazing right now. Once she has her food, she mutters low, "I wonder what the real world is truly like," in between her bites. It's just loud enough for Onsei to pick up. She doesn't want the humans to hear her curiosity.
Illya is unphased by Midir's lack of amusement and interest. Any answers to such questions he'll have to dig for himself. Of course, Illya won't make it easy. The little fairy trots along after the group along the path they start on. Tapered ears listen in on what Sora and Midir tell them as to prepare herself, though she seems to pay no attention at all. The long walk is dotted with occasional humming from Illya, though she isn't the talent that Hana is, she sings prettily all the same. Pretty as a fairy. Of course, even she plays nice for a drought of water every once in a while. At one point, she pipes up to say, "This would be so much easier if we could all just fly. Mister Bartender and I certainly could, but then you would left to whither in the sun." She smirks to Aelita as she questions her about how she flies. "Silly human. All fairies have wings to fly with," she answers back to her. At the place, she orders water and anything with fruit and luxury foods. Once the girl steps away, she giggles at Midir. "Aren't you the ladies man?" Never mind the insane amount of food he orders.
Malek tilts his head at the information of what they have to do. He's rather confused, but he decided not to ask to clarify. He'll just go with the flow. At Hana's declaration of fighting monsters, he busts out laughing. "Even the weak little monsters would wipe the desert floor with your little ass. That's why you have to trick innocent people into protecting you." At her threat, the smirk wavers just a bit. Despite her resolution, he doesn't doubt a minute that she'd force him into a bad situation. He'd rather be helping ainslin. She's nice at least. He walks along the desert, excepting water when he can get it though he does well with out if he had to. The heat isn't so hard on him, so he does find trudging along in the middle of the pack. As ainslin begins talking, he listens curiously as she shows her excitement. A small smile plays on his lips as he watched her. "What if the food in the game is much better than in the human world?" He asks as a joke. The horse question tilts his head. "Let's find some horses in the real world, then? Surely if they exist we might find one or two." Once they arrive at the oasis town, he sits at the table casually and orders a few plates for himself. He's no Midir, but this walk has worked up a serious appetite. He hasn't thought of it, but now that the half-demoness asks asks about Midir being called Kro, he looks as well, equally curious.
Aelita nods. "A warning," she repeats to insist it's truth. He's worried? Well that's flattering. She gives a dry laugh. "I'm not so stupid as that, Sora." While she too is a human from the human world, Aelita was never so aware of the situation with chaos until she was dragged into this game. Even she watched with a faint curiosity about this portal and how to break it. The notion of trudging so long through the desert makes her want to cry almost. She sulks on the way out of town at the idea. The walk up to the oasis is hell for the poor girl. She takes water when ever she can, and she sticks to Sora's shadow. The time Illya says what she does, Aelita shoots an irritable gaze to her. She's so pale, how is that strange lady not fried like she feels? She asks Illya, "Since when could you fly?" Her answer shits Aelita up. Oh. At least she now knows what the stranger is now. By the time they get to the oasis town, she's become a pink colored human in her face and on her arms. She asks the lady for water and any food that'd fill her up. She looks to Sora as he asks about her past. "Me? I was born in London. My father was at school there so he married and started a family there. We moved back to Japan, Tokyo really, for his job. I myself was studying to try programming games and all."

Onsei grins as the elemental demoness threatens Malek with the possible promise of using him as a meat shield to protect herself. However, he doesn't think it would be interesting to let the hot tempered girl get hurt. He supposes that he could just add her to his list of people to make sure aren't so useless that they die on the field of battle. That makes the list consist of two people- Hana and Aislin. Like Malek, the heat isn't too bad for him but even so it does dry him out a bit. So seeing as the Princess is his source of water, he plays nice for the few days that they travel with no other source of the stuff. Though the first time she had given him water, he had made a snide comment about her feeding him and asking what it feels like when normally it's people feeding her being a 'princess' and all. The feeling of water being yanked back from his gullet against his will was a different feeling for sure. Kind of like throwing up but with less heaving. After that though he stopped, not feeling like dealing with that again when her abilities are important. "Ha! A fairy!" Onsei beams, finding it higly amusing that the playful and happy woman finally lets them know what they are. "Of course you're a fairy," it should have been so obvious! Oh this is great! Like at Midir's bar, he orders an adult beverage, not at all showing any signs of actual dehydration despite the lack of water and food other than what was caught and grilled over a fire. "The dish with the most meat would be best for me, snake lady," he gives the serpentine woman his order with a broad smirk. Hana's muffled wonder only proves to make him smirk wider. "There's cities that dot the land everywhere, skyscrapers more than anything. The diversity is definitely higher and the oceans are more enjoyable. The air isn't as clean or fresh, and most people get offended even if you jsut greet them". He pauses, "Or so I've heard," he tells the young woman at his side. Though he finds it interesting that the waitress knows Midir, "Is Kro your stage name?" He adds on to Aislin's question.
Midir in the mean time rose a brow upon hearing that Illya is actually a fairy of all things. Though as she hums her little tunes as they travel it becomes more and more apparent as to just how she is a fairy in the first place. Though he knows little of them; they did not exist in his home territory. "Flying would be pointless even if everyone could do it. It would be just as tiring if not more so," he logically denies. The sun does not bother him at all. While he did not grow up in warm climates such as that of the desert, he has no issue with moving across the sands with minimal water. Though that alone could be because of traveling through the desert and living there for a while now. As Illya teases his apparent looks, he replies with, "No, I'm not a lady's man at all. In fact I used to own this place," it's heavily implied that he's being utterly sarcastic. Which he is. But he denies Onsei that same tone, it returning to blunt and straight to the point. "No, it's not my stage name. The reason they call me 'Kro' is because that is my last name. My full name being Midir Kro," he explains at length. It does not take much time for the food and drinks to get to them. Though while the others had normal plates, Midir had his own three carts filled on each of their racks that held food for him. "Sivia," he requests of the snake woman who in turn casually drapes an arm across his shoulders. "How long until the real world ends?"
The snake woman now known as Sivia, frowns, "You've never mentioned being interested in that before. But I can't tell you. Last I checked it was a year," she obviously is far behind in the news. "Why?"
"No imparticular reason," Midir denies, dismissing the woman. Once she is gone he corrects what she had said, "I do hope that you all know that we only have thirteen days to complete this mission. That is, thirteen real world days. In this game world, one day is acutally only an hour in the real world".
Aislin had started out strong in her travels, though after the second day of being so hot her stamina began to drain. Again she was highly thankful that no part of her is black. "Oh come on don't even think about that possibility!" She whines as Malek playfully mentions that the food in this would could be better than that of the real world. "I don't want to thnk of that possibility". She blinks as Midir gives an answer to her question, surprisng her. "Midir Kro?" She pauses. Being a girl who is cursed with seeing the future randomly, she knows a lot of useless stuff. Like how many seconds it takes water to drop from a 100 foot tall waterfall and into the rest of the body of water. Kro, or crow, is a type of bird, a scavenger. But the crow is actually thought to be a bad omen. Associated with trickery and bad magic. She wonders if this applies to the stoic man, though she certainly hopes not.
"No, I-I know you're not stupid," Sora tries to cover his tracks. He realizes taht he had stepped in when he wasn't needed at all. "I never said you were," though he doesn't dare try to further explain himself as they've alreay started to walk. "You're a fairy?" he questions Illya, "I never figured fairies could be so big. I always thought they were so small!" He means no harm done obviously but no matter. For him, as it would be on any human, the travel is harsh on him. While he could do well with short bouts of desert traveling, anything more than just a few hours was enough to make him suffer. Though like a good friend, he allows his smaller counter part to stay in his shadow. His eyes actually widen when Aelita tells her of her skills with computers, "So you'd be able to hack a lot of stuff then?" An innocent question which would be left for later.
