Cider was scrambling to find her mare again, and escape the second Titan. She may have avoided it's foot, but he still had two hands and another foot to work with. Hana was trying to get to Cider as she called the mare, but she couldn't get herself close enough before Ichigo finally sprang into action. She feels him scoop her up and away from the downed titan, and she beams to her boyfriend a split second. "Thank you," she says, wanting to kiss him for saving her if it were not for then still being in a surprise situation. "I-I don't know! I was swinging around like we did in practice. It was just the same as then! But... It was like one of the wires didn't work!" Indeed, a spring was broken, and so the wires didn't retract or have any sort of tension on them for Cider to use, this throwing her off. Now, her leg hurts. What ever the reason for it, her adrenaline tells her to ignore it for now, and even helps to ignore it for the time being. She shakes in Ichigo's arms, but visibly for anyone else, but she relies on him enough to let him see such a bit of weakness. Once Hana returned to her, she jumps saddles with her good leg to get on her own mare. She pets the neck affectionately as she listened to Kouga snap at everyone taking their fright out on Yurei. He does have a point. Plus with what Kyo said, she grows serious. She's terrified, her eyes wide still as she recalls nearly dying if not for Akira. She isn't going to relent because she's been stripped of inhuman capabilities. She asks, "Whag do you suggest we do then?" As Kyo mentions what he does.
Akira shows off her own acrobatic ways as she maneuvers around back to her stallion, resting in his saddle once more. She observes the situation quietly. They were suddenly stripped of their powers, but thy took down the titans right in front of them with little damage to themselves. She's sharp enough and in enough of a stable mind to realize Cider must've received defective gear since she recalls Cider moving just fine during practice once she got the hang of balance. What Kyo says is alarming as well. What should they do? She looks to Grimmjow as he returns to his steed and bad mouths Ichigo. Their banter is usually funny, but right now, she glares at Grimmjow's comments. "Enough of that right now. We don't have time to be insulting. Just be glad he snapped out of it." She faces forward again, hyper aware of her surroundings now with her abilities gone. "Instead, help us decide what we need to do." Ichigo is still too frightened it seems to make rational decisions, and Erza seems a bit irrational as well. She doesn't normally snap like that, especially not at her own comrades. She feels her own fear and thinks she may not be best to make a decision. So, she looks to the blue haired man for guidance, carefully watching him for an answer.
Kyo is riding after taking down his own Titan, having reclaimed his mare with ease and is now back into formation with the group. He frowns as Erza snaps at Yurei. He can understand the frustration, but it won't help anything let alone change the past. He glares as Kouga snaps, but waits until he is done to put in his own say. Loudly so everyone can hear, he says, "We need a plan! Yurei is right! No one has replied to our smoke signal at all. I don't know if everyone is dead or we just got stranded and didn't notice where the group turned if it did. We need to find out what's going on and get to the rest of the recon groupso we can at least be back in formation and ready for orders." He looks to the only ones calm enough to seem to make good decisions, mostly your people since I don't know what to expect: Grimmjow and Yurei. Of course he's constantly listening and smelling for some detection of another Titan. His senses are at human standard now, but he can still rely on his senses to help notice a Titan if it appears.
"Back off!" Kouga snarls at Erza. "Don't go getting pissed off for not realizing we are in a world with out superhuman people!" Well... Save for Eren and, unknown to them, Anna. "Her telling you doesn't change the fact we are with out powers! It wouldn't have changed what ever went wrong with Cider!" Well, not realizing it reply wasn't on her, this remark was made in assumption that Cider did everything right. "Stop yelling at Yurei and make yourself useful figuring out how to find the caravan before we are too far separated!" He looks to his girlfriend, a hard but affectionate look on his face. When Kyo mentions noticing the same thing Yurei did, be sighs. This isn't good. Half their group is scared shitless, and he is finding it hard to figure out the best means of tracking down the others so they can get back in position. He looks around, desperate for some sign of what's going on. Are they passing blood and bodies of the dead or are they simply displaced and too far away? Either way, it means they've lost connection to Erwin to receive his orders. Like Kyo said, they need to get back to the others and fast. A lot more could be in trouble than just them.

Ichigo smiles down upon Cider's thanks. He's just glad that she's not dead. Her leg is most likely injured if that limp still is there, but she's alive and that's what matters to them. "We'll need to get your leg looked at as soon as possible," he informs her. He doesn't think her leg is broken, but the fact that she was limping sadly makes her a liability worse than his fear does even. Still, he is as pale as a ghost, and none of all this yelling helps him calm down. His heart won't slow down and like Akira he is hyper aware of his surroundings. He listens to what the others say, but there's not much he can do to help. He just about shat his pants before actually killing the Giant, having never had to take on something so large while being so powerless. His golden orbs look down at his shaking hands as they give Aztec full control of his head; the horse isn't going to go anywhere but straight he can tell. He also ignores Grimmjow's yelling at him but he's grateful towards Akira for covering for his faltered ass. Upon Grimmjow's suggestion, he can't help but look at the blue haired man, "We were supposed to go to that giant forest weren't we?" His voice is low and shaky, but it manages to travel so that the others may hear him as well, "We were supposed to go onto the left side and set up posts there".
Grimmjow in the mean time shoots his blue gaze to Akira, not liking the fact that the angel has spoken up for the Hollow. However, looking into those orbs of hers makes his temper drop; there's no fighting a woman's glare this he knows well. As the others look to Yurei and himself for answers as they are obviously the most calm out of the group, he sighs, "They've obviously abandoned us," he tells his friends, "That's what happened in Las Noches; you fall behind, you're dead. Might as well as turn around and try to find our way back so we can wait for them". Upon Yurei's words, he shakes his head, "We /did/ our job! We helped them get to that Eren kid's old home! With us taking down Titans, they're sure to move on, that's all that matters! I bet you there's a portal waiting for us back at the Survey Corps place". It's not that he's yelling at Yurei to take out frustration/fear, it's that he's emphasizing what he's saying. He honestly believes that they have fullfilled their purpose; they can leave.
Erza in the mean time is taken aback as Kouga suddenly yells back at her, protecting his lover as a good boyfriend should. Though her brows furrow as Yurei mentions something new. No one has singled back to them nor have they seen anyone else for the passed twenty minutes. Did they get turned in a different direction after remounting their steeds? For all they know, while the caravan could be headed for the giant forest, Erza and the other could be heading for jsut plain old no where. That's not good, they've gotta get Eren and Levi to Eren's home's basement. Don't they? Grimmjow, as she hears him, has a point though. But Yurei's point is good as well. Just where are they going? And why hasn't a portal appeared? Is it honestly back at HQ waiting for them with Kurogane?
Yurei has never really had to be a leader before in a situation as dire as this. Normally when things get hectic, Ichigo or Akira or even Cider takes the wheel and drives them all in the right direction to their goal. That's how it's been for years. However, it doesn't seem like that's the case this time. All three of the four strongest are high strung with fear. Even Kouga is a bit too stressed what with his rather loud defense towards Erza for her. Kyo seems relatively calm, which makes three of them. But three calm people and five rather scared ones a well put together team does not make. She bites her lip before speaking to Grimmjow, "We have a job to do Grimmjow, we still haven't made it to the basement; we haven't helped Levi like we're supposed to". Though Grimmjow has a good point. With them having taken down eight Titans, that's eight less than what the caravan will have to deal with. That means less of their people will die- most likely- and that also means that there's eight less Titans that can keep Eren from getting home. Should they turn around and look for the portal? "But what if it's not there, Grimmjow? Then we've abandoned our job and I'm pretty sure that'll ruin our chances of leaving. Knowing the Witch, if we abandon our job- going back- then he'll drop our deal and we'll be stuck here forever. Do you want to be stuck living as a human?"
"Of course not," Grimmjow denies, "But Levi didn't say how much we had to help him". He looks over his shoulder to speak directly to the girl, "For all we know, we were just supposed to be here to kill Titan after Titan. If we turn back now, I'm cure we'll run into more, and that'll down their population for one, and two fullfill our job". His gaze now turns to Cider, "Her leg is hurt. We don't know how bad and she can't launch herself properly; that gear is obviously fucking her over. Yesterday she was fine and today she gets hurt? That's not a rookie mistake, that's broken technology".

Cider doesn't like seeing her Ichigo so worried and scared. He's pale and shaken. She's so used to a confident Ichigo always as a source of calmness and stability and confidence himself, but that's gone now. She hates that Miraikou is no where to be found. At least when they were meager humans in the past they've been able to contact their own inner voices and bankai's and hollows. Assuming he has absolutely no sense of either of his voices, she assumes that's what most unnerves him. All the bickering doesn't help anyone, least of all him. She rides close to him, and she smiles affectionately at him. She's terrified and injured right now, but if he's going to not be her source of strength this time, she will have to some how be his. She listens to the others. Grimmjow thinks they're done, but she agrees with Yurei. She questions Grimmjow, "Since when did the Witch ever tell us we can do a half assed job, huh? We may have helped now, but if they don't make it where they're meant to go, this 'help' didn't do shit! Like hell we will be able to move on then. I refuse to retreat because of a leg injury! I'll survive. We just need to find the rest of them and protect them as long as we are damn well able!" Her leg is hurting like crazy, but she will suffer through it and fight, even if she can only provide a distraction to the titans while her comrade fight since her equipment isn't cooperating.
Akira doesn't want to abandon Grimmjow's side, but this really isn't the time for yelling. She will do what she has to in order to restore at least a sense of confidence and rational thinking. She listens to them bantering, and she she frowns. This isn't the time to even argue! Like Cider, she sees Ichigo as a strong and stable pillar in the group. They all rely on each other, but she feels unnerved as she's seen Ichigo cave in to the fear even for the moment. It's one thing if, say, Kouga were to panic. He's gotten better, but he's always been most on edge in the group. With them so distraught and unnerved, she observes the bickering and chaos. /This/ is the way they'll be killed. Yurei and Grimmjow have differing opinions, so rational minds aren't helpful here. She inhales a little before calmly, but assertively, stating, "Cider has a point. Not once did that Witch open the portal sooner than intended. She didn't open it before that Ninja village completely fought off the invasion, or before we actually brought down that Naraku fellow in Cider's world. She never opened it right after we did what ever to help. No, it was until after we made whomever succeed that we were supposed to. We helped in the beginning, but leaving now leaves then completely open to being devastated still. After all, they still have a long way to go." She looks ahead. "We need to fan out some and search for the caravan. We /will/ keep fighting!" She looks to Cider. "She can still out run titans so long she stays on horse back. She will be able to keep up with us." She looked to Yurei. "You said a forest?" She sighs. "Alright. We will look for that forest as well. At the very least, we can meet up in there." She waits for any objections before looking back to Yurei to see if she knew which way this forest was. She had a general idea, but Akira wanted to make sure someone knew specifically how to get there.
Kyo looks as Akira decides she will need to be decisive since Yurei and Grimmjow are at opposite decisions about their next course of action. She and Cider make a good point of them needing to finish the job correctly, not half ass it and risking the loss of their world hopping. It's a gamble either way. They could turn back and end up losing world hopping abilities because they were wrong and the survey corps returned all defeated. On the other hand, they are in the most dangerous situation they've ever been on this journey. They could be risking their lives, even actually dying, for excessive work. After all, Grimmjow made an equally good point. Cider, Yurei, and Akira's argument is only valid if their job was to truly bring them to the basement of that home and back with out Levi or Eren dying. What if someone dies for no reason that way? Cider can out maneuver the titans, but Grimmjow did make a point of her injury. It could be a simple bruise or muscle pull, or it could be as painful and as much a hindrance as a fracture. It's hard to tell what on her face is from the pain or the panic she's felt. Still, as Akira suddenly tries to be decisive, his mouth hardens into a strong, tense line. She's trying to collect their wills and direct them. Obviously bickering will get them into more trouble than deciding either way. He looks to Erza, she herself looking rather surprised by Kouga's defending Yurei. He didn't like her being yelled at, but Erza's blaming was no better either. There are so many scenarios running through his head leading to so many possible endings that he's not sure himself what side to take. Ultimately, he decides that them deciding as a whole to go one way or the other is the best option. So, he backs Akira for the some purpose of trying to get everyone's will to fight restored enough to stick together. He says finally, "When we lost our inhuman abilities, we still slaughtered titans!" He looks to Grimmjow and grins. "After showing we can kill them with out our super human strength, are you really so terrified that you'd abandon the mission at the risk of never leaving this world?" He sends a devilish smile, intentionally provoking any pride he has as a male. "We can handle titans. We've proven this. If you want to retreat with your tail between your legs, go right ahead. I will continue on to protect our ability to get out of this world." He looks to Ichigo. "Hey!" He barks at the carrot top. "Snap out of it! You've got an injured fiancée (yes, he said fiancé, and it was on purpose) who needs you by her side! Don't chicken out and leave her vulnerable while on the battlefield!" He looks so scared when he could still win so long he's careful. After seeing him jump to Cider's rescue when she fell, he's hoping Ichigo will shake off his fear at the mention of his Injured girlfriend in need of his protection. Well... He said fiancée. Hopefully that will be a stronger word to make a bigger influence on his words to Ichigo. They are as inseparable as any engaged couple, even married couple, would be. So the term isn't far off the mark. When Akira asks for someone who know how to get to the forest from where they are, he frowns. He didn't study the map close enough to know for sure himself. They're moving forward to help the caravan is only good so long they can find it.
Kouga is the only one of mine to agree with Grimmjow. They both have good points, but ultimately, they don't know where they are so they can't find the caravan or the forest. They're one man down with Cider potentially really injured, and their strongest people aren't in the right state of mind. Akira seems to have shaken her fear enough to try and get the group moving, but he just can't stand the thought of blindly surging forward if they don't know how to even find the rest to continue with the mission as his girlfriend, Akira, and Kyo all support tracking them down. Couple his sense of uncertainty with his fear of the situation, and hell yea he would agree with Grimmjow's choice.. "If no one knows where the first or caravan are, we are better off retreating while we can find our way back at least! Hell yea we are scared, Kyo! Our lives are actually in danger here!" He narrows his eyes as he adds, "We can still carry Eren and Levi to the basement of eren's house should this fail. It doesn't even have to be them! Whoever can come with us is welcome to so we can get them the information needed to really fight the titans! We will be able to do it with out putting Cider at risk and with out all this fear that we all feel!"

He's thankful that Cider is trying to keep him calm and steady as he's always done for her and the others. She is correct in that the fact that he no longer has voices- or just a voice, as Zangetsu has been reduced to nothing but a conscientiousness- in his head. Most would figure that that's a good thing, but he's had Ogichi's comforting presence in his mind for a very long time; his absence has thrown him off. It's odd, he thinks on the sidelines, that someone as powerful as he would drop down into a bout of fear the moment all his strength left him. Has he ever done that in the past? What about when his Shinigami powers had left him after he fought Byakuya that first time? He didn't back down then! Why should he back down now? His eyes drift from person to person as Aztec has slowed his pace so that he's around the middle of the group as though those of stable mind can protect the man who has acted as a pillar and leader for most of their travels. He's brought out of his thinking by Kyo whom hits the nail on the head in trying to pull Ichigo out of his fear. The dragon is right! He has a girlfriend- well...Maybe they should get engaged next time they find a peaceful world?- to protect who is injured and scared. The best she can do is run and evade, act as bait for he and the others to take down if nothing else. Hana is fast enough to help Cider do that, obviously. And even if she's not, Ichigo refuses to let the speed of a horse determine Cider's survival. He finally comes from his thoughts not long after Kouga is done voicing that he agrees with Grimmjow. Ichigo's determined golden eyes look forward as he speaks, "We should go to the forest," announces loud and clear, "We don't know where the forest is but we know what direction it's in. If we can't use our powers here, then we should use previous experience and raw learning from the past two days to get us by. I don't know about you guys, but from the Wolf World and the Lion World, I learned to read the sky pretty damn well. Levi said that the forest that will be our resting spot is West (Idk if it really is)," his gaze turns towards the sun for a moment before suddenly he urges Aztec to speed up a bit and take a slight right, "We're going south west! If we head directly west then we're bound to hit the forest". As Grimmjow makes to question him, riding Treason at Ichigo's and Aztec's left, Ichigo shakes his head, "I'm not randomly guessing, I'm following what my instincts is right! A Hollow always follows his instincts doesn't he? Besides, I didn't get out of that funk on my own," he looks over at a certain black haired male, "Kyo brought me out of it all on his own. I owe him one".
Grimmjow isn't surprise that Akira and Kyo are both on Yurei's side. In fact, her thoughts are incredibly logical for the state they're all currently stuck in. He would have figured that she'd suddenly break down before apologizing and going with Grimmjow's idea. The fact that she's stood her ground is impressive. Still, he shakes his head to Kyo and his words, pride obviously stabbed at by the currently former dragon, "I'm not running away you dumb fuck! I'm keeping us alive! And I'm not suggesting we half ass this Akira, I suggest we retreat and live another day to try again. The job wasn't for us to help Levi and Eren on this exact trip, but in general. We weren't told to go to the basement, but to help them get there. For all we know that means that all we had to do was fight. Hell, we were supposed to fight Satan of all people in that last world and suddenly the Witch changed his fucking mind! Who's to say this situation isn't similar?" As Ichigo suddenly speaks up, and says that they should go for the forest, he scoffs. Kurosaki's been down and pale all this time and now suddenly out of no where he's so confident again? Looking at him, he's no longer slumped as he was, and his complexion has swiftly returned to being normal. As Ichigo goes ahead of them a bit and turns to the right at about forty five degrees of an angle, Grimmjow pushes Treason to ride up on the man's left side so that he may question him. "Oh what? Now you're all better all of a sudden? You wanna play hero some more?" Because that's the kind of face Ichigo has on right now. The kind you see the heroes of a manga or anime wearing when they're determined and just picked themselves out of a rut of some sort. Grimmjow's brows furrow at Ichigo's statement. "Tch! Fine! Whatever, 'King'," he unknowingly uses the very nickname Ogichi loves to call him, "Lead the way for your ever loyal servants". He knows for a fact that Kurosaki often stands as a pillar within the group, and that if he decides that they should move forward, that there's no real winning on Grimmjow's side that can be done. Best give in while he still has what's left of his dignity.
Erza in the mean time doesn't know what to think to be honest, as the others begin to pick sides and stand by their thoughts. On one end, she could agree with Grimmjow. His points are very valid despite seeming rash and sudden. Levi was never fully clear on what they have to do. And the Witch did suddenly open a portal when they had yet to defeat Satan. So who is to say that she won't open another portal? For all they know, their goal could have actually been to take down a Titan using Maneuver Gear. She could have misinformed Levi, which isn't completely unheard of. Still, she nods to agree with Kouga that they are indeed scared shitless. After all, they could actually die in this world. Sure they can die in any other world- well, those of the lower four at least, but their lives have never been /this/ close to forfeit before. Her head snaps in Kyo's direction though as the former dragon helps the former Hollow gather himself and once again stand tall as a pillar for the other seven of them. She smiles at the dragon. If Ichigo hadn't woken up from his fear, she knows who she would have turned to to become the pillar, that's for sure. With Ichigo fully gathered together and standing as a pillar again so to speak, she wastes no time in following him, finding that his idea is most valid whilst also supporting Yurei whom for the most part has been calm this whole time. Speaking of which, she looks over her shoulder at the black haired woman, "Sorry for yelling at you". She smiles as the former bone mistress beams her way, obviously showing that she is forgiven. Next she rides closer to Kyo so that he can hear her over the rushing wind and hoof beats, "You make one hell of an inspirational talker, Kyo".
Yurei in the mean time, despite her outward calmness, was starting to fall apart under the pressure of not only being something of a leader- or potential leader- but also from standing her ground against the one with the hottest temper among them. She admits that he is correct in some points, making his ideas extremely valid and tempting to follow. But like Akira said, they shouldn't be half assing things. It's also the first time she and Kouga have actually stood on different grounds when it came to what they should do. However she can't let that bother her, every person is entitled to having their own thoughts even if it means opposing the one they love. She shakes her head towards Kouga's words of being able to take them another time, "But what if Levi or Eren die while we're not there, /because/ we weren't there? I doubt Levi would since we've seen him handle his gear, but we've never seen Eren fight outside his Titan form and even then he was just carrying a boulder on his shoulder. Eren could die because we weren't there to have his back and that could do us in. And then we'd be dead". However as Ichigo is brought out of his funk, she can't help but let out a sigh of relief. Good, should she have won and Ichigo was still in his funk, she would have become their leader most likely and she wouldn't have been able to handle that at all. The stress of being a leader would be her own doing as she is not meant to lead but to follow and advise. One the less, she smiles lightly, Ichigo's back and they're going towards the forest and Grimmjow has backed down. This is what she wanted.

Cider beams as she sees a sudden change. Well, not before being bright red as she's called his fiancé. They aren't engaged! They should be, especially after the fear of the Titans beat into them. She eagerly nods to her boyfriend. "There you have it. Let's move on!" She surges Hana forward, keeping beside Ichigo and bending with him so they're going straight towards a forest as tall and untouched by man as they can come. She grins at the sense of danger now, letting the adrenaline be considered a great thing. Let's say on the way they run into two titans since it's not like titans aren't every half mile in this forsaken world. She immediately puts herself to use. Her leg is in too much pain for her to ignore unless she absolutely has to, she she immediately maneuvers Hana to gain the attention of the stupid titans. She cries out, "Hey!" And throws a stick or a rock when ever she can as she makes them look away from her comrades, making it easier for them to access the necks.
Well, she's been in a similar situation before. After all, she was once avoiding demons and hiding and evading as they have been on this recon mission, only fighting when needed. As the others decide to move forward with the mission, Akira tucks in close to Grimmjow. She smiles apologetically. "I know you want us to stay alive. But there's no guarantee Levi and Eren will survive if we aren't there. We can survive this with out our powers and still succeed. Please have a little faith." She smiles at him like she did when he first started training with the maneuver gear. She looks ahead quickly as they come across two more titans who have noticed their presence. She bends around the opposite way Cider directs their attention, going into a crouch as she passes one of the titans from behind. She times it and then fires two wires into his back. She jumps, propelling up towards the neck with the gas to back at a neck and kill it. She returns to her stallion as he loyally waits for her before running forward to collect her and rejoin the others with Cider and whom ever took care of the second titan.
Well they were never told the objective for that world, so they wouldn't know that. Mafisto was all "Hehe, I ain't telling you!" Still, Kyo waves off Ichigo's thanks. "You can pay me back by not doing it again. Your lovely bride there loves you too much." He went from fiancé to bride? Now Cider really is read in the face again. He laughs at he reaction before looking to Erza. "Inspirational? Nah. I just know how to beat common sense into people." He grins and winks at her, showing he merely is joking. Once they happen upon the titans, his jokes halt and his expression immediately turns serious. He was about to make a move on the second Titan, but I will let one of yours beat him to it as to not hot all the fun for himself. At least they will have better leverage to use their equipment in a forest since that means trees. He homely hopes they aren't too terribly off course from them.
XD welcome to the stress of being a leader, Yurei. Kouga is relieved too only because he didn't like her out front. That meant she was first to titans if they were to appear. Protective Kouga couldn't have any of that. Still, he is glad Ichigo regained composure enough to return to support and leadership. He was a source stability as this had demonstrated as well as a fighter with or with out powers. They are already handicapped with Cider stuck to a horse. They don't need to be down any less fighters in this stressful, truly dangerous ride. He lets the others take on the Titans that appeared. He will keep a keen eye out for more. He may not have superhuman senses anymore, but there as sharp as human senses can get, and so he will wield them to the best of their ability.

Ichigo shrugs his shoulders, the movement not all too visible due to the way he's currently riding Aztec. None the less as within half a mile a pair of Titans decide to show themselves upon finding them. Ichigo's eyes narrow as Cider is rapid to put herself to use, acting as live bait as the thrown rock gets the attention of one of the beasts but not the other. He doesn't like the way Cider is so fast to put herself close to the jaws of the enemy. However he refuses to freeze up again- as he's silently promised himself and the others he wouldn't ever again- and as such swiftly perches himself on Aztec's back. He surf's the waves of Aztec's stride for a few seconds before putting his gear to use. The first spot he anchors himself to is the left arm, in which he uses to swing his frame up and high. However, the Titan is distracted from Cider due to his actions, and as such it makes to slap him out of the air like some sort of edible fly. Ichigo however refuses to get hit, and releases his anchor in order to flip through the air and swing around the massive body another two times. Keep in mind that the Titan is still moving forward, too stupid to realize that things would be easier if it stopped and focused on one thing at a time. Just before Ichigo can make a third lap, he manages to finally get a good angle from which to strike. He wastes no time in taking it, slamming both blades through the flesh but careful not to dull them right away still as his number of blades is limited. The Titan falls with a thunderous crash and Aztec is swift to dash to his rider and letting him get on for safety. Once on Aztec again, Ichigo and the stallion go to Cider and Hana where ever they may be. "Are you okay?" He can't help but ask a question that is obvious. Grimmjow's attention is gone from Ichigo's sudden attitude change- part of him remembers seeing that look in his eye when he and Ichigo last fought all out in Hueco Mundo- and is given to Akira who rides at his side and speaks to him understandingly. "Faith is for the weak," he tells Akira simply, not meaning to be an ass but simply stating his belief, "The word 'faith' implies that you are trusting in a more powerful being to make sure you get through something. I'll believe that we'll get through this instead". As Cider sets to work as bait, Grimmjow spurs Treason forward, her leathe frame taking off in order to him to pull ahead of Cider and the Titans and whomever is taking the two down. They need a look out or two while the others are busy as it is. As luck would have it, his blue eyes catch on to a large cluster of trees. Trees taller than he's ever seen in his ancient life. "That forest is just up ahead!" He calls to whomever can hear him or will listen. It's lucky that there is no sign of Titans being there yet. Meaning that they can tether the horses and take a well deserved break for the time being. I'm going to make this Erza's time to fail as she's had all the other times to shine. Plus Kyo needs to play hero XD. Erza smiles to Kyo, amused by his words and playful attempt to deny that he's managed to be inspirational. However, like Kyo her pleasant expression turns to one that any Fairy Tail member- or any one of her current friends- would associate with her becoming serious during a fight. Simply put, she takes on a look that fits the title of Titania. That is until Akira takes out the first Titan and Ichigo is swift to take out the second. Both moves are to be expected of two of the currently former powerhouses. Their ability to fight even without powers shows clearly in the way they swing and anchor themselves from spot to spot on the Titans until both are dead. Her eyes widen and a gasp comes from her as suddenly Venom whinnies and swivels to the left against Erza's command and despite the fact that doing so hurts his mouth. However, it was for the best as where they had been is a Titan's foot. Erza's eyes widen in shock and sudden fear before she gives Venom his head fully so that he may flee as he pleases. The Titan though seems to be very interested in her and Venom for whatever reason. In her surprise, her mind is slow to adjust from focusing on the first two Titans to the one after her hide. The result is her taking off and sending a wire out for her to propel. However, her eyes widen as a large hand wraps around her frame. Her eyes are wide and frightened as said hand brings her to stare at a massive face. The only thing she manages to get out in her surprise is a scream for assistance. There you go Kyo, go play hero Yurei literally beams as her side has been taken. Not because she's won, but because now they can actually get their job done and the gate to leaving this world is assured. She, like Kouga, sits back as the others make to take down the Titans, Cider as acting bait and Ichigo and Akira springing at separate but perfectly timed moments. Whether the two powerhouses realize it or not, but the way they propel in accordenance with one another- as the Titans are rather close to one another and yet Ichigo and Akira manage to not twist their wires together as most rookies surely have done in such close quarters- in her eyes looks to be a work of art. At one point, Ichigo literally ended up just barely missing Akira's wire, and another time just barely kept from clothslinging her with a wire of his own. Her head though snaps to the right as there's a sudden loud sound and then seconds later a distressed scream. She's never heard any of her friends scream- male or female- so hearing one of them do so now makes her heart jump in surprise and obvious fear. When she sees who has been captured, it surprises her even further. As this moment is made for Kyo to be the hero, Imma say Yurei and her beloved Warden are both a bit slow to react to the scream, leaving Kyo to take the lead.

Cider is calling at the Titans. She throws insults, stones, and what ever else to keep their attention. While one is taken down smoothly thanks to Cider's being bait, the other is looking to Ichigo as mentioned. Cider tenses up because of this. Of course, he manages to smoothly kill the Titan with no hit, but Cider couldn't help but fear the dread of an Ichigo too injured to continue and unable to heal. She was about to get hysterical as she yelled at the Titan when Ichigo dodges the hand and confirms that he is completely back now. Well, he may be human, but he's ready to fight again. With a sigh, the tension gathered in her arms and torso melt away. Once they are both down, Cider banks around until she catches up with the others in line once again. A smile is given to Ichigo as well as her stating, "I'm just fine. Thank you, love." As they reach the forest's edge, she lets her horse rest. Though, she's reluctant to even consider climbing these trees with out functioning maneuver gear and one of her two legs in perfect condition. Unless she's given a ride up thanks to someone's generosity, she remains on alert on the ground.
Akira flinches as Grimmjow so harshly, to her, brushes off her attempt to apologize. "Faith can also mean putting your trust in us to have your back and get you through to the end." Of course, that is what she meant when she said it, so she hopes he at least heard her. Regardless, for what ever reason, him brushing her off doesn't sit well with her. She frowns and looks after him as he pushes ahead of the group to scout. Hesitantly does she shake her thoughts and change focus on the Titan she targets and takes down. It's a welcome distraction to her. The mention of the forest arrives as she settles back into her saddle after beating up on the titans. She pushes her horse forward, eager to reach the forest for a break and to get to the trees where she feels safer with her maneuver gear on hand. As they see no people, she immediately settles her horse down and ties him up so he won't bolt. She scales up to the upper branches of the trees and waits for the others to decide what the plan is next.
At first, Kyo is merely a by stander. Of course, he's quick to cry, "Watch out!" As a foot nearly squashes Erza and Venom flat. He's wary, but he lets Titania take on a Titan herself. He knows she's able to expertly kill the Titan. So, due to bad timing or bad luck, as Erza is caught in the Titan's grasp, Kyo's eyes narrow a bit. It's at this point the former dragon decides he needs to intervene. He drives his mare around the the Titan, keeping a wide girth between himself and the Titan. The moment he has an angle to work with, he fires off the wires. They anchor just below the neck. He propels himself forward at a great velocity and perhaps more gas than he thinks he's using to get up to where he needs to cut. Muscles tense as two blades meet flesh, slicing into it seemingly like butter. He continues propelling himself over the titan's shoulder and to Erza. Once again, Kyo displays his strength and speed as he aims for the hand holding her. One sword is sheathed so he can grab her and leaps to the ground to meet their horses. The Titan collapses in a heal behind him. "You aren't hurt are you?" He asks Erza. Dark, focused eyes stare at her until she answers. He then mounts his horse and says, "Get back on your horse so we can get all the way to the forest." They're so close to it. It'd be their luck that there's another Titan if they tried to make it on foot.
Indeed, Kouga is glad to watch. They already played their part in deciding for the group their course of action. Well, Yurei did. Kouga just argued and eventually went with the flow. Still, Kouga merely remains a spectator the entire time the next three titans attacked. He watched as, after the fear and chaos, they come together to work as one in taking down titans. It's impressive really. It's probably due to all their time they've spent in close relation to one another. They're so used to each other's styles that so long they have the confidence to fight, it's like they're reading each other's minds. Even when Erza by chance is caught in a Titan's grasp, Kyo has her out of it's clutches as quickly as she got caught in it. He turns his attention to Grimmjow and the forest he too sees a few seconds after the hollow. He takes to the trees as well, letting his horse rest after a long, fast run.

Ichigo nods once upon finding that his lover is safe and sound despite being bsit. She ws bait that never fulfilled its purpose, which in this case is a good thing. Upon making it to the forest, he realizes that Cider isn't confident enough in her gear to get her to a branch. Not that he blames her. "Here," he offers to her after dismountig Aztec and safely teathering him, his arm spread as though ready to give a one armed hug, "I'll take you on up".He releases her once they're safe and sound. However, when he hears a shrill, inhuman, scream, his head whirls in that direction while his senses are put on end. The sound reminds him....Of a trapped animal. What could scream like that though?
Grimmjow feels some remorse for snapping at the wingless angel. He didn't mean to come off as an ass when he told her how he felt about faith. And while upon his branch, his eyes are glued to her when he realizes that having faith in his friends is what she meant by having faith in the first place. The tenson of that moment clouded his thought process. Now, as he glances at her and away, wondering.if he should apologize to her now.or.latr....Or at all in the first place. The scream spooks him out.of his thoughts, causing him to slip off of his branch and fall. Luckily, his gear is fast enough to anchor him to the bottom of the tree limb, which in turn allows him to scramble back onto his perch. Below, he hears Treason stamp her hooves, seemingly not pleased with the sound. "What the hell was that?"
Erza, like so many other victims of a Titan getting a hand on them, only stares ahead with wide eyes like a deer caught in headlights. She has no.power to use to free herself. Her arms are pinned to her sides, unable.to move and make a grab for her blades. Not good. She would die like this, wouldn't she? However, before her head can leave her shoulders, the Titan's eyes go blank and lifeless. Its body begins to fall. Before she can crash to the ground too, she feels strong, well muscled arms wrap around her and help her safely to the ground. Her own arms are latched around his neck until he tells her to mount Venom who waits for her to start moving. She blinks, shaking herself out of her daze and blushing in embarrassment, "R-Right! Sorry about that!" She complies and rides off with still a very bright red face. Even as she stands on a tree branch safe and sound, she cannot get her mind off of what happened. Not that she almost died, she's over that, but instead of the feeling Kyo's strong hold on her. She has nevner felt so safe before then. She thought that, for once, she could fully let someone guard her life in her time of need. Why is her face hot though? And why does her heart flutter still? At Grimmjow's question, she shakes her head to show she hasn't the slightest.
Yurei is pleased to find the over all issue brought to a close, and that Kyo managed to become a knight in shinning armor- ironic because Erza's way of fighting is called The Knight and Kyo himself is a dragon- and save the red head's hide. Perched safely on a branch high above a teathered Warden, Yurei also looks in the direction of the scream. "I don't know," she tells Grimmjow, "But whatever it is, it's not happy. Scared, trapped, and probalbly looking to escape too". Whatever it was, it had to be huge to be that loud.

Cider looks to Ichigo as he offers a ride up to the tree branches. Relief washes over her as she wraps her own arms around him in a tight hug to hold onto him. "Thanks,"'she says once she has her feet on the branch. They're so large and old. She stares down as titans start to close in on them while they eat on the trees. She doesn't really let god of Ichigo, though it's not as tight a hold on him. Her staring at the old trees is interrupted as a terrifying scream makes her tense up and tighten the hold on her boyfriend again. She stares in that direction, genuinely worried about going towards the sound. Though, as some of them insist on going nearer, she frowns. She knows they might need to, but... She's still not happy about it. Her equipment choked out and stopped working and she's still feeling her leg throb. She waits for Ichigo to decide what to do since she trusts his instincts.
Akira isn't so much thinking about being snapped at any more. It's still there since she has been more conscious of what Grimmjow thinks of her lately, but she's just too focused on the danger at hand. She looks into the forest once she's on a branch and out of titan's reach. This lasts about a minute before a shout as inhuman as she evr heard rings through the wilderness, shaking them and even knocking Grimmjow off thir branch. She snaps her attention to Grimmjow, and she reaches to catch him. It's in vein though, and widened crimson eyes watch as he scares her by nearly falling to the ground where titans can eat him up. She only relaxes once he gets back onto the bench. She pauses before saying, "Should we really go towards the sound?"
Kyo thinks nothing of going after her and holding her so securely. He just makes sure she is safely on a branch before he releases her to stand on her own. Though he is aware of how startled she is. Even in fairy tail, he doubts she has been quite so close to death. After a moment's rest, he glances down to her and says, "Hey. Are you gonna be ok?" He raises an eyebrow as he stares at her. Though he focuses on the cries they hear, and he nearly falls off himself. Nearly. He manages to stay on the branch so he can cry out, "What the hell was that?" He looks into the forest, wishing desperately to be able to have his super human senses. Knowing the witch, they will need to go towards the terrifying scream, so he nods. "It might be where we need to go."
Kouga is on the branch and staring into the distance as titans draw near as thy spot his little group hear. Fortunately, they seem too stupid to know they have to jump up to the branches and climb. They pay no attention to the horses either. It's only when he hears the screams that he looks towards the dense forest. He doesn't hesitate but a moment before announcing, "we should check it out. Everyone seems curious after all." He smirks as he looks to the others; all of whom are questioning the scream and/or staring into the forest with sincere problems.

Ichigo offers his lover a smile as she thanks him, "Any time". Seriously, any time. None the less, he doesn't mind that she holds tighter onto him as the scream startles her, while again his arm wraps around her smaller frame protectively. His other hand rests on the hilt of one of his blades, half tempted to draw it just because. However, he stays where he is, feet planted firmly onto the bark under them. The scream seems to echo far and wide, passing over them all and racing through the plains. Then, the Titans little by little leave their group of all things. Why would Titans leave their prey? That makes no sense. And especially when they're headed in the direction of the scream. He listens to the others as they agree that they should indeed go towards the scream. However, there's a blaring issue that the carrot top sees. Cider's ankle. Even one person having an injury is a casualty that could get them all killed. He wants to go and check things out, really he does....But even more he refuses to put Cider in any danger being in the state she is. "No," he eventually tells them as the last of the Titans rush passed their positions. "Cider's hurt. Even just that could get us killed. There's too many Titans for all of us to take on anyways. Being without our powers, being the underdogs isn't a good idea at all. We retreat".
Grimmjow sighs as he sits on his branch instead of stands, seeing as the scream had spooked him so hard. His brows furrow as he watches below him that the Titans one by one respond to the seemingly rabid scream that obviously demands freedom. He knows that kind of scream well. It's a scream of desperation, something let loose by an animal or any creature when they have no chance to change the situation they're in, and wish to release their frustration or perhaps call for back up. That's what the scream's owner did. It called the Titans away....."Normally I'd say fuck you and your fearfulness, Kurosaki, but this time you're right. We shouldn't go there. Whatever screamed is desperate". His blue eyes watch very carefully the deeper part of the forest.....Lots of somethings are coming their way. His eyes widen, "The troops?" He mutters just loud enough for anyone close to him to hear. He can barely see them, them being dressed in brown and them being still a good bit away from Grimmjow, but he recognizes their movements as those with Maneuver Gear.
Erza in the mean time nods her head to Kyo, noting the oddity of her heart skipping from him merely talking to her. She doesn't get it even in the slightest....What's got her so...Sensitive all of a sudden? Never the less, she manages to answer him clearly, "I'll be okay," she tells him. Some of the others, she wants to go and investigate just what screamed and why. "Cider can stay behind then with one of us," Erza offers to Ichigo as he states that they should retreat. "Besides, didn't we agree that we should continue forward?" Indeed they had. Because if they retreat now, then it'd be no different from if they had retreated earlier. That means that they don't know if that'll fuck them over or not. A hand clenches. That mess up was a fluke. She can handle herself now. She's sure of it. She doesn't catch the movement that Grimmjow does though, and instead watches around for any Titans, be they aiming to eat them, or join those that left for an unknown reason.
Yurei blinks as it's time to debate on what they should do next, it seems. Stay, go back, or go forward are the obvious options. There's the unlikely fourth option is that they could split up into pairs, where one pair goes forward, one stays put, and the other begins to retreat. But such a choice doesn't make sense at all. Like the rest of my guys, she doesn't see what Grimmjow does. She doesn't even catch the movement. But what she does notice is the sudden silence. Not even the horses below dare stir, and the wild life that had been so care free moments earlier, is dead silent. Not a good sign, "We should stay here and see if whatever happened comes to us...If it doesn't, we should go check things out," she offers.

Cider turns a little red as Ichigo calls out her injured state, but she doesn't deny it. The throbbing aches in her ankle tell her very clearly she's in no condition to continue a mission. Still, as Ichigo decides to flee, she presses her lips into a grim line. Everyone has different things they wish to say. Some say press forward, others say stay, and Ichigo says retreat. She considers the different options in her mind. ThEyd have to leave immediately as she is aware the titans are distracted, but she worries about if they'll be welcomed if they retreat. Staying put could be hazardous. They haven't received smoke signals in a while, so waiting for people could end up meaning that they wait until they're starved or titans learn to climb. Going towards the scream leaves a sickening feeling in her stomach. Finally, she decides he wisest decision is... To retreat. "If we need to go, we need to go while the Titans are distracted by the screaming unknown. They will be safe at least a little while. "We whole to back. We have no idea what's ahead or if the others are even in this forest. Let's trace our way back before we really get lost or something."
Akira meanwhile is starting to agree with the group's other powerhouses. "We are a man down, and I think we are still kind of shaken about having our powers snatched from us. Normally we'd dive head first into something like this, but we can't be so reckless right now. Let's retreat while they're distracted like cider said." She says all this just before Grimmjow muttered something that sounded like troops. She stares at him quizzically before turning towards where his gaze is aimed. There, she too sees the distant movement of brown jackets swinging through the trees. Well... Now waiting for them at least sounds like a more viable option. She says, "Maybe we can wait to hear from these people before really retreating?"
Kyo sighs as again they're faced with doubt in continuing. At least now, the trip isn't as perilous back since they are all distracted. Still, he says, "whether we stay or go, we can't leave anyone here. There always seems to be bad things that happen when this group separates. Look at that lion world and the pirate one." He would rather them all go forward if they're going to do that. Hell, he will carry Cider himself if he needs to. Still, it seems to be pretty divided since the power houses want to retreat and they all want to go forward. They may just end up staying there out of pure indecision like Yurei wants if his keeps up.
Kouga meanwhile remains on alert, but he's gazing towards the forest instead of the open planes. He tries desperately to catch a scent or glimpse of the source of the scream and for any fellow troops. What ever they do, he just hopes to decide fast before they all end up in a worse situation because they couldn't get themselves together. He doesn't see the troops moving through the forest. Well, more like he doesn't notice them. Normal human senses make him have trouble seeing such things. Still, he lets the others talk it out this time. He will just patiently wait and watch for danger.

Ichigo opens his mouth as Akira makes to agree with him, but suddenly changes her mind. What? Why would she do that. His eyes pan to the wingless angel before seeing that she's not really looking at anyone in their group, but rather something ahead of them. Grimmjow seems to be doing the same. Did they see something interesting? Good interesting or bad interesting? He opens his mouth to speak again, but this time he's interrupted by the loud call of- "Retreat!" Someone calls out. It is a nameless soldier. However, this nameless soldier is suddenly swatted out of the air and grabbed by an overly large hand. Ichigo's golden eyes widen and his breath catches. "Shit!" His hold on Cider tightens a vast amount as he anchors them to their branch and promptly jumps off, his feet hitting the grass almost too heavily before he gets his lover onto Hana and himself onto Aztec. "Get onto your horses! Into the plains! Move! Retreat!" This command is thrown as his friends as he spurs Aztec into moving, the stallion seeming to understand his command. "Retreat!" A second nameless shout is heard, and then replaced by a blood curdling scream of terror.
Grimmjow watches as the frames get closer, though his attention is brought to those arguing. Like Kyo, he's not pleased by the fact that they can't make up their mind. However, he stays with wanting to leave this forest instead of entering it further. He watches the frames of the troops, and then his eyes catch the much larger frames of Titans. "It would work this way," he grumbles to himself and readies himself to fight if need be. However, the first cry for them to retreat sends him into a slight alarm. They're all leaving? Oh, he can't ask why because the guy is dead. Wonderful. He falls to the grass swiftly, jerking his anchor out of the branch before mounting his mare and turning her with a jerk of his hands. Not pleasant to her, but needed. "What the hell?!" He questions but does not expect an answer. He stands in his stirrups, but his body crunches to lay low against the mare's frame so that she can move faster. his hands move with hr head, letting her have full control of how fast she goes- which is a full blown gallop- but now where she goes.
Erza agrees with Kyo full heartedly, "We can't separate," she tells the others firmly, brown eyes alert and searching for anyone or anything that may want to take her down. She won't be caught off guard again. "Kyo's right about that. But we can't stay either because we don't know if the others went on or all died off for whatever reason. Going back could screw us over. We should go forward," part of her wants to redeem herself for her mess up. This is what pushes her to want to go forward. That and an natural want to protect others. It isn't until the Titans become visible from where our group is that she tenses and begins to go to her horse before Ichigo can even give the demand. "Stick together!" She demands as she races at a close pace to Kyo's own horse's, "We're doomed if we get separated!"
Yurei was going to mention that going forward would indeed be their best bet, but she's stopped by the call for them to retreat. She's swift to get off of her branch, which is lower than my other guys', and onto her steed who has heard the stomping of Titan feet for a good ten minutes not, but wasn't worried because Titans don't eat animals. She ends up in the front of the line due to leaving so early and having little landing distance to cover. Not planning on fighting, she rids herself of the Maneuver Gear, a stupid move yes but she doesn't care right now. The loss of the extra weight allows her steed to pull further forward out of the group. However, in front of her the air shifts, as does the land under it. She blinks and rapidly rubs an eye to clear it to no avail. However, before she knows it she's flying off of her horse's back as though bucked off, and is on her way to landing on her back. She doesn't have time to flip herself around for one, and two, she doesn't feel any stronger than she did seconds ago. This leaves her to crash and burn, her frame skidding across the ground before coming to a slightly painful stop. She groans. That landing is gonna leave a bruise. She looks at the area around her....This isn't the world of Titans. Did the Witch just pop open a portal out of nowhere?

The tension Cider feels from Ichigo isn't helping her stay calm at all as they hear shouts to retreat, but she does. She lets Ichigo carry her to the ground and on Hana's back. "I owe you," she says to Ichigo. Despite the rush to get away, she waits for him before pushing Hana into a pace as fast and reach as stretched as the mare can muster. She keeps with Aztec easily. However, instead of going all the way back the city, she suddenly feels Hana disappear from under her. She slides and rolls several feet only to catch herself with a larger rock. She blinks as she glances around the land that suddenly turned mountainous and wet with rain. She's hesitant to think she was swept into a new dimension, but she can't deny the sudden change in scenery. She quickly looks around in search of her comrades. They shouldn't be too far apart, right? They shouldn't be too far apart, but the rain makes their line of sight limited. She quickly finds and limps to her boyfriend where ever he is followed by the others.
Akira jumps down almost immediately as they are called to retreat. At least thy have a clear answer of what to do now. She jumps into the saddle in a fluid leap, and she instantly surges the horse into a pace as fast as he can go. She keeps her tension out of her control on the horse as much as possible. They're running maybe a minute before there is a flash and she loses her footing in the stirrups. Well... She loses the stirrups and the rest of the horse all together. Surprised, she face plants into the muddy ground and skids to a halt. So she may breathe, Akira jerks her head up to see the world has changed around her. The sunny plains are now a rocky, stormy mountainous plane. She wipes mud away and turns to her find her comrades. At least Yurei and Cider did similar to her so she doesn't feel too stupid. Still, she gathers towards the others. Her adrenaline doesn't go away. No, she still feels human... And plus... "Where's Kurogane?" Exits her mouth. Widened eyes dart around for some sign of her baby, but he's no where to be seen. This is obviously a new world, so where is he?!? Her greatest fear seems to be coming true to her, that Kurogane would get seperated and lost in a world she couldn't return to. She doesn't think about anything else at all, not even caring about the world they've entered.
Kyo finally notices what Grimmjow and Akira are staring at. He only notices just as they're given orders to retreat. Well that solved their dilemma quickly. He drops to the ground quickly to collect his horse and start running. He runs easily with the group, urging his steed onward with urgent motions and such. He is startled when the flash of light hits and they're all sent flying with out their horses. Grunts as he flips and skids to a stop. He was on some rocks, so he gets banged up a bit more than my others who land in dirty and grass. He pants as the adrenaline starts to drip away out of his body. His be fumbled mind clears, and he sees they're in a new world immediately. Unfortunately, his powers aren't back. He assumes h same for everyone else. Still, he gets up to collect with them. Minus Akira's frantic searching and calling for her son, they all seemed to be focused on what just happened and where they were. He listens while watching for clues of hat to expect. You'll see what he sees below.
Kouga doesn't like the order to retreat, but at least it's a decision made for them. He slides down quickly and gets his horse before kicking off after Yurei. Like the others, he suddenly loses his horse beneath him and is sent flying. However, due to solid reflexes given to him after learning to struggle against the lab researchers, he softens the landing by balling up and rolling. He's stopped by a tree, and he's left upside down with his legs dangling and his head seeming to be at a ninety degree angle as it's bent against the ground. He groans before getting to his feet. One by one, Cider, Kyo, and Akira respectively appear and skidding into the mud. At least they're all here and away from titans. Well, h says this until Akira starts to panick about Kurogane not being with them. Surely he's in this world too. They just have to find him. But that's not for sure to be true, so he sympathizes a little. However, since he's not a mother and therefor doesn't have the seemingly unnatural need to care for him as Akira does, he can focus on learning what's going on. Once everyone is here, he says, "I guess the Witch had enough fun watching us nearly get eaten."
Meanwhile, just below them, there's a level road carved into the mountain side running east to west. The other side of it is an even steeper drop than the one they landed on. A large caravan of oxen and carts and soldiers with primitive looking hand canons march through the rain towards the east. They seem almost in aware of the flash of light and sudden arrives. Perhaps the ran has dulled their ability to detect trouble... Or they already have detected a greater threat. A woman in a fancy kimono appears as part of the caravan. Her canon, like the others, are wrapped in a cloth to keep it dry. She looks far off to the other side of the road towards the forest in the distance. It's hard to make out what she's seeing, but she gives the order to open fire. Red Umbrellas go up as the canons are uncovered and loaded. Several fire into the distance. What gets my people more is when a blur of white fur flash by them as something giant, a two tailed white she wolf, charges head long towards the caravan.

Somehow, in one way or another, Ichigo has managed to find himself in a tree when he first arrives at the new place. Being suddenly dislodged from Aztec is something he's not too happy with, seeing as it was so sudden and left him utterly confused. But still, he doesn't stay in this tree, as a grunt via disturbed ribs aching a bit, and a small shuffle causes him to let out an unmanly yelp and crash without grace to the ground. Another groan escapes him. Still, he manages to ignore the feeling of mud seeping into his clothing in turn for opening his eyes to find his lover looking down at him. He stands with a heavy heave, noting that now there's mud in his lovely orange locks. Stupid mud, it's a bitch to get out of his hair. Maybe he should just cut it to being mostly short again? He doesn't care either way; so maybe Cider can help him make up his mind. "Hey," he greets her as he stands and makes to support her should she seem like she needs it, "You okay?"
Grimmjow least of my guys was expecting to find himself flying from his steed's back and to the ground in just a matter of seconds and accompanied by a flash of light that normally signals a portal of theirs being used. Like Yurei, he ends up on the ground, however he ends up tumbling and slamming into an unforgiving boulder. He groans, dizzy and his back stinging. That hurt? But they definitely just went through a portal. Don't tell him he's gotta play human for a while longer damn it! That'd be horrible! His thoughts are broken as he hears and sees Akira scrambling around in search of her baby boy, wondering where he was. He feels a little worried himself, actually, seeing as the kid's begun to actually grow on him. Because of this, he makes to situate himself and stand, first getting his hands under him and pushing up off the muddy ground. "Okay," he begins with a sigh, "Where is that bra-" however, a low grunt of surprise escapes him as he ends up flopping back into the cold ground as there's a flash above him and then a weight on his back. It's not heavy, but the suddenness of its appearance is what gets at him. On his back a happy Kurogane cries out with a smile, recognizing the familiar head of blue hair that had left him behind with strangers not long ago. He bounces on his butt and waves his arms this way and that to show his glee, giggles escaping him. "....There you are, you little fucker," Grimmjow snarls, not at all pleased that the angel-demon hybrid thinks his spine is some sort of bounce house. However at the same time, there's a tone of relief in his voice as he grabs the kid whilst turning over and climbing to his feet at last, "Don't worry your mother like that, got it?" Kurogane only puts his little clawed hand on Grimmjow's face. "Good. Akria, here," he offers the woman as I'm certain she's found out where her child is by now.
Erza ends up managing to half catch herself, years of training making her alert enough to plant her feet twice which barely allows her to only tumble to her knees as her version of falling. However, she finds herself in one of the muddiest parts of the clearing they seem to have appeared in. She groans, and even flicks some mud off her face, not at all pleased that she's so dirty and still can't seem to re-equip into something different, leaving her to have to deal with the issue. However, she sees Kyo looking at something, and finds herself standing to take to his side. Her eyes narrow while her brows furrow upon seeing the soldiers and the woman with all the canons covered. Are they going to war? Definitely not coming from it, as they don't appear to have any wounded. And with the canons looking as primitive as they do, a war can't be fought without casualties in this era. However, her eyes widen as the woman seems to look in their general direction, if not passed them, at something she doesn't spot. The widening of her eyes is because of the umbrellas coming up and a round of fire heading in their general direction. "Heads up!" She calls out to the lot of her friends, all whilst wondering just what a two tailed she-wolf is doing in this seemingly normal world.
Yurei in the mean time is lucky to have landed in soft- but wet- grass when she took her fall, just leaving her to deal with minor mud and grass stains in her clothing. As mentioned before, the fall is going to bruise due to her currently very human vulnerability. She stands and sighs as she looks in the direction from where she had flown. That's where the portal had spat them out at the very least. "Yea, no kidding," she sighs to her lover, already wet black hair whipping to and fro from the movement. "At least she could put us in a dry place, though," she mutters lightly as a shiver runs through her petite frame. "Seriously, where are we?" Upon hearing Erza's warning call, she whips her frame around with wide eyes, and stares at the canons below, and the flash of white that from this distance she can only tell is a large white furred animal. All the same, she drops to her knees, not wanting to get hit by even any shrapnel that could happen due to the cannon balls missing their targets.
