Ichigo shakes his head in the form of a shrug before leaving the ring with Cider quietly riding. "Trying it is," he mentally tells her casually as they leave the warm up ring. As they stand in wait, being third of the fifteen to go, he bobs his head and again mentally speaks to her, showing her an image of a confident him, "I've got it down". And it's with that that when the horse before him is done, he takes his go. The first couple jumps are simple ones to take care of, and as such he easily makes his way over bar after bar, clearing them. However, the first mistake is made at the double, where his back right hoof nicks the last bar, earning them a fault. As he feels his hoof hit the bar, his ears flick back and he lets out an annoyed grunt. The second mistake is similar to the first, however it's while going over a triple instead of a double. As he lands and Cider leads him out of the ring with the run being done, he mentally curses, "Well damn it all. Should have done better," he berates himself.
Grimmjow glares lightly at the colt as he reminds him that the stupid shirt is still on his person. "If I wanna look good, then why don't I just take off my shirt? That looks good enough," even he knows that everyone loves a well built hot shirtless cowboy. And he's got the whole thing down to an art, it seems, with the now three fangirls he has. None the less as they end up a little bit aways from the crowd of the competition and in a more secluded warm up ring. "What do you say to a game of tag, brat?" He questions Kurogane as he pulls him closer and puts a hand to the clip that keeps line and halter attached. "Your mom and I will be it. Your job is to stay not it and not let us touch you until I say 'stop'. When I do say 'stop' the game is over. Deal?" Assuming Kurogane's simple mind manages to understand what Grimmjow is saying and he agrees, Grimmjow unclips the line from the halter. He leans forward and pats Akira's neck before grinning to her, "Ready to play?" He figures she could use some fun before he takes her freedom from her, even if only slightly, when they're on to show.
Yurei in the mean time listens to her lover/rider talk and comfort her while they warm up. Her ears perk and she stops her movement in order to look back at Kouga, eyes bright to go with her ears, "You're right Kouga. Thank you for your support. I love you," I don't think they've said that to one another in a while so there XD. However after about ten minutes of warming up she stops once again and suggests, "The jumping is starting. Do you wanna go and support the others?" Assuming he'll agree, they head out of the ring and stand with other people who are either just riding their horse because they can, waiting for their turn or just finished warming up themselves. Still assuming that Kouga agreed, her ears flatten like Ichigo's do when his hooves nick the bars both times. But otherwise the stallion did well, as did Cider. They were very nice in their timing for jumping. It was just mostly power that Ichigo lacked in that made the bars get knocked down- as they indeed fall.
XD she parades her insanity with pride. Still, Erza has no doubt that the strutting makes Kyo look more like a dressage horse to any of those who may watch them during their go. It'll be interesting to see who underestimates them because of this and as such doesn't try hard enough. As they finish up, Erza already has the course mapped in her head by the time the second horse is half way through. She leans down to pat Kyo's neck, and to hear what he's muttering. "We've got this. They focused on the racing portion rather than the show jumping," as they did two days of that, while Ichigo and Cider did a day of racing work and another of jumping. The extra day on Erza and Kyo's end will give them the advantage. Still when they finish she along with the others around her clap, as other than the knocked bars the run was rather nicely handled.

The little temporary human smirks to her steed as they prepare for their round. "Remember, we gotta kick some ass," she mutters, leaning forward so it may reach his ears. By the time she's upright, the signal is given for Ichigo to start. She me talk cries out, "let's go!" As she utters him ever so subtly toward the first hurdle, trusting him to do the best he can. What surprises her are the faults. It's a given, once she thinks about it a little. They were going mighty fast through the course, if you don't mind my saying so. It's sad, but so far the other two haven't done much better. They both have less faults, but they took a long time to get through what she and Ichigo went through even with the faults added on. In the end, Cider leans forward onto Ichigo's neck as he decides to try and berate himself. "You tried, love. Don't let this get to you." She lets a hand rub his shoulder. "We got one more chance at the very end to place. And it's nothing more than a race, something we did all of that one after noon we arrived here. O think we will dominate that one." Might as well get his morale up now for the last competition, no? "For now, do you want some water or anything else?"
"Because it's their social norm here," Akira insists. "Besides, I could only imagine the horror you'd face. You'd have all these little girls like those two from the village at the very least gawking at ya." She flicks an ear back at him as she talks. Still, she trots out as you said until they find a pen away from the crowds. Lord help her rider, she muses to herself, if these little Tweens caught Grimmjow shirtless. Still her mind is brought out of this thought at the sight of Kurogane being set loose in the paddock. The colt may have a young mind, but he can grasp the concept of a game with the wit he possesses. The colt at first is hesitant of being drawn near like Grimmjow was doing, but he relaxes as his halter is unclipped. He snorts as he prances off to get a head start on his mother and Grimmy. Akira herself is surprised by the sudden decision to play a game. Since when was the brutal, sadistic espada into games? Of course, she's thinking about the Grimmjow she met originally as she finds it hard to believe he's changed so much. Her thought is shaken as a hand ran along hr neck. Not that she'd admit to liking it, she looks over her shoulder to her rider, large eyes boring into his own as she replies with, "Lets whoop this little runt's ass." Of course, she wouldn't really hurt him, but xD. Akira looks back at the colt. "Hold on, Grimmjow,"'she tells him as she lurches forward as if to directly charge the target. Kurogane immediately bolts to the left, and Akira follows suit on the pivot of a hoof. He's more agile than the fat cattle, so testing her reflexes and agility will be a sure thing here. Still, she barely misses the colt as he banks farther left just out of reach.
Kouga smirks to Yurei. "Anytime, Yurei. I love you too." He'd kiss her, but that'd look weird to the humans around them. Still, he gets warmed up easily as Yurei proceeds to warm herself up the next ten minutes. Once they're confident they won't hurt themselves, Kouga relaxes on her back, and he runs a hand along her neck lightly. "I hunk we will completely own the dressage competition," he says, though he has no way to compare to others as he hasn't seen others. He watches Ichigo make most of the jumps with little problem, and he sighs. "He doesn't seem used to his abilities, does he? Poor guy." He mutters to her lowly. Oh, and as they watch, he's dismounted her so she can rest just a little while before dressage.
Kyo nods. "I wonder what he will do if he loses for once," the dragon muses to his rider as they discuss Ichigo's abilities. The stallion watches Ichigo's run, noting the lack of power here or there when the faults happened. He was certainly fast despite the faults. As the other horses go, he observes them. They either at slow or fault a lot. There only two besides Ichigo with impressive speed with less than 5 faults. Kyo observes what they do, how they move, and the speed they move at to achieve their decent scoring. By the time it's Kyo's turn; he's seen enough to be able to make a fair judgement on what is needed to win this jumping competition. Soon, he's lining up in the pen for their go. He looks over his shoulder at Erza, silently giving a sort of "ready?" Stare as the one before then makes their run. Kyo, once it's his go, leaps out of the gate and straight towards the first hurdle Erza guides him to. He moves fast: as fast as Ichigo easily. Let's say he only receives one fault, and it's for a nick at the last hurdle.

Ichigo snorts lightly but none the less accepts Cider's comfort with a bob of his head which causes the forelock on his forehead to move along with the bobbing. "Ahh, you're right," he tells her mentally, keeping his horse lips shut due to the fact that they're still very much around people and other non-talking steeds, "We'll definitely dominate the race". Even so, as she questions what she wants, his ears flick back in thought to replace what would normally be a purse of his lips. "Water would be good right now....And then if we can, I wanna check out the race track and its footing". It's with that said, that he lets Cider lead him to where she figures he can drink some liquid be it from a trough or something else. He can hear the commentator for those who are too far away from the ring announcing just what's going on. And when he hears of Kyo and Erza, he pays close attention. His ears flick back lightly as it's said that his fellow stallion gets a fault at the very end. Still, "They were flying through that course," he tells his lover when the time plus five faults is given.
Grimmjow in the mean time scoffs. Social norm his ass. However she's probably right; he'd face some real horror if those girls saw him shirtless. None the less, he doesn't jerk the colt near when he's hesitant to be drawn in. However when he realizes that they're going to play a game, the colt seems much happier and more willing to play. It's not that Grimmjow has changed a whole lot, in fact he's barely changed. He's still the same sadistic, fight hungry hollow he's always been. However he's never been one to be stupid. He knows well when it's time to keep in check his blood lust and when to let it free. Granted, he's itching for a fight- maybe they'll come to a world where he'll actually get to fight for once- and it's driving him up a wall on the inside. However, he refuses to fight while weakened and a human of all things like he is currently. He wants to fight at his strongest. So, in order to get some aggression out, he decided a game of 'tag' with the brat would be good enough. "Let's," he agrees with the mare as she suggests they 'beat' the brat's ass. And when she tells him to hold on, he does just that. Used to the slight jerky movement that occurs when she takes off suddenly, he hunkers down into the saddle and holds onto the horn of it with his free hand. As Kurogane banks, he smirks, "Is this all you've got brat?" He questions the little colt mockingly.
Yurei lets out a little nicker as he tells her he loves her too; she'll never get tired of hearing those words. As it is, she bobs her head lightly as he admits that he thinks they'll smoke the competition despite not seeing any thus far to compare themselves to. Using his confidence as her own, she feels much more at ease. She's thankful for the break he gives her by dismounting and taking his weight off of her. As they watch the jumping portion of the show, she shakes her head a bit, "Well, he can't win them all. He's not a war god in this world". True story. As the other horses seem to make similar mistakes as to what he made. However when it's Kyo's turn, he's the one that basically blows the competition away, even Ichigo. With a time as fast as Ichigo and Cider's without the faults and with less faults then them, they're bound for first place. Her ears perk straight forward, and she can't help but let out a whinny of cheering towards the duo once they're done. Surely they got first place, no?
"Well he's not the kind to be spoiled by winning. Sure he may be a bit over confident but should he not get first place this'll help him realize that without his abilities....He's not the best out there," Erza inputs lowly into his ear, pretending to rub along his neck and the like. By the time the other horses have gone through, she has long since memorized the course and seen where the rider must either really pick themselves up off the saddle or simple sit low if need be. Like in the warm up ring, she has her plan down to an art, being the insane woman she is. At Kyo's words, she smirks, "Ready when you are partner". And then they're off with a well gated speed that easily matches what Ichigo put out with Cider, she holds her position rather nicely, keeping her hands quiet and her poster straight when needed. Coming to the jumps, when she feels him collecting himself, she does the same and just as he takes off she picks herself up off the saddle and lets him fly. By the time they're done, she knows they have that single nick to the last bar. However she's fairly certain that they just basically blew the competition out of the water. After all, they were one of the last five to go if you will. She smiles as she hears the familiar whinny of Yurei, and runs a hand along Kyo's back, "You were wonderful out there Kyo. Why don't we get you some water and I'll dismount to give you a break".

Cider relaxes a bit more herself as she sees Ichigo calm down about their obvious loss. At the mention of water and checking out the track, the rider nods. "But of course, my dear Ichigo," she says. I don't think she got off his back yet, so she gets off now to lead him by the reigns back towards May's trailer where they have stuff set up. There's a small trough there filled with clean water untainted by the mouths of any other horses besides Ichigo now. "Want the harness off?" She asks, as she knows that may be a pain to work around, though not as much with liquids most likely. Still, she does what ever e requests before retrieving her own bottled water. The plastic bottle she grabs is emptied in a minute's time as she gulps it, and the plastic is caved in from the lack of substance inside since no air gets in. At the mention of Kyo and Erza flying, Cider scoffs. "We were flying too. We just couldn't keep our hooves over the railing enough." She smirks to her steed, showing she was merely treasing him. Once she's quenched as is Ichigo, she starts her way towards an outside arena two hundred feet away. There are wooden bleachers protected by flimsy metal railing that stretch around the mile-long track. The track itself has short-cut grass growing and a few others down there with apparently the same idea as Ichigo's. Yeaaa, Grimmy knows Akira is right. He just don't want to admit it. And god thing he hasn't changed. He wouldn't be our beloved Grimmy if he had changed. Meanwhile, Akira isn't saying hold on just for the take off. No, this will be a bunch of jerking around as she pivots around and makes changes as sudden as her large mare body can muster as she chases after the much smaller Kurogane who decides cleverly to use his size to slip away. The colt is clever. He knows he won't out pace his mother at his size, and being in a confined space such as a pen doesn't help in the least, but he can maneuver better. Akira has to admit that she'd be proud if not for the fact that she's now losing a game of tag to her son who isn't even a year old. Akira chases the colt as fast as she dares in the confined space, which is enough to gain on him real fast. However, at hte last minute, she has to change lead and swerve around as the colt suddenly blasts to the left or right just out of her and Grimmjow's reach. "Think you can tackle him?" She mutters to Grimmjow some two minutes into the game as she quickly became clear of their situation. Kouga smirks. "Yea, gotta keep his head from blowin' up too big with all that ego." He doesn't really have a big ego, but Kouga can still tease him about it. In fact, the lack of ego makes it all the funnier in his eyes. "It's interesting to see what he can do with out all the super powers he's accumulated over time in his own world and on this journey with us." The little experiment turns back towards the competition, and he watches as Kyo of all of them is the one to dominate the competition, even with that flirting flair of his. "Damn, he was pretty fast," he mused lightly. "He easily has this unless they saved the best riders for last. Alas, as the last ones go, let's say the Kyo takes first in the end, with two nameless riders and their horses taking second and third by a matter of a few seconds. "Well, looks like we have a winner in the group from the start," he says before cheering loudly as a small trophy is presented to Kyo before hte crowd of spectators. Kyo shrugs off the thought of Ichigo doing bad. It just means less competition for him so he can win this thing and a few ladies' hearts. Still, as mentioned, he perks up at the sound of him starting. He clears 'em all at record speed save for the last bar. At the end of it all, the stallion looks to Erza as she offers water, but he doesn't budge. "Water sounds nice, but later. I want to see the last guys go. It won't take but ten minutes, and we should stick around anyways in case we end up placing in this competition." She may get herself something to drink, but he stays put like a stubborn mule. His decision isn't with out its reason in the end as the show jumping comes to an end with his and Erza's name at the top of the nearby scoreboard.

Ichigo is settled down fully by the time they make it back to the horse trailer that holds water for both steed and rider alike. At the offer to take off the bridle, he shakes his head lightly, this time talking for real- there's no on near by to hear him. "Nah, I'll just drink passed the bit. It's eating that would make things difficult". While Cider is sucking her water bottle dry of liquids, he's taking in a decent amount himself. However he's careful not to drink too much. While he hasn't been working too too hard, he will have to run eventually and he doesn't want to get any sort of cramps or anything. He rolls his eyes a bit at Cider's tease, knowing it to be a tease and nothing more. Upon making it to the track they'll be racing on, he does his best to get a good look at the footing with these horse eyes of his. "The footing looks like it'll be perfect," he tells Cider casually, "It's nice and dry and looks like it'll give good traction for my hooves". Upon seeing a few others who seemed to have had the same idea as Ichigo, he turns his head in that direction to look them over. "Looks like the competition had the same idea".
Grimmjow in the mean time knew exactly what she meant when she told him to hang on. Still, he manages despite the fact that he ends up having a bit of an issue keeping his timing perfect all the time. While normally he has no problem knowing exactly when his lovely white mare will be turning this way and that, there are times when Kurogane manages to pull a quick one and cause her to move in a way he didn't predict and therefore leave his timing off. However as she questions whether or not he can tackle the brat, he nods. Knowing she couldn't see that he tells her, "Yea. Just get me nice and close. Just before he decides to bank would be good". In order to prepare for this, he slips his feet from the stirrups. Using nothing but ab and thigh muscles, he manages to get himself more so in a jockey's sitting position. This'll allow him to launch himself better. The next time the little colt decides that banking would be a good to bank, he throws his frame at Kurogane, pushing off from the saddle. While one arm wraps around Kurogane's neck, the other hand takes the underside of his halter in order to get control of his head. He's just at Kurogane's shoulder so he's not really worried about any rearing he may do. "Alright brat," he tells the boy, "That's enough tag for now. Can't be wearing your mother out if we're gonna put the competition in its place".
Yurei chuckles as she too realizes that it's amusing that the strongest of their group doesn't really have much of an ego. Wonder what allows him to not have one? (That would be Ogichi my dear). None the less, her emerald eyes stay on Kyo up until they're presented the trophy of first place for the jumping portion of the show. She stomps a hoof lightly in the form of her own way of clapping as other spectators do. "Looks like it," she agrees with her lover. However, her ears perk up as an announcer states that in ten minutes, dressage will be taking place in another ring separate from this one. "Looks like we'll be up pretty soon then, huh?" She tells her lover after the announcement is over. "Why don't we head to the other ring while we're at it?"
Erza in the mean time shrugs off Kyo's momentary decline for liquid, understanding that he wants to be available for when- because she knows they did- it's announced that they've won. Upon this being announced to those around them and the other competitors, she grins and turns Kyo back onto the course where one of the judges is standing with the award. She grins as she holds one of its handles, and then decides that to give Kyo a break she can dismount. This she does before going ahead to lead him to the trailer for a drink. Unlike Cider, she doesn't feel the need to take one herself. However, she tells Kyo as he either stands there or takes a drink as he pleases, "I'm gonna untack you. That was our only thing do do so I'll just put a halter and lead line on you. That way if we want to watch the others, we can do so and not look odd with you just following me around for one, and also without you needing to deal with a saddle and annoying bit". If anything happens that requires her to ride, she's sure bareback won't hurt her or him.

"Alrighty then," Cider says. Sure, he can drink past it, but surely it's still not very comfortable to maneuver around it. Ah well. He said that he's ok, and so she lets him drink to his heart's content while she does the same. Once her bottle is empty and her thirst is quenched for the most part, the little rider looks to Ichigo as they prepare to go to the track to investigate footing. As they arrive, Cider barely notes the three others there doing the same as them. She just wants to ensure Ichigo knows what to expect. As he appraises the footing on the track, Cider beams. "We'll win this one no doubt!" She grins at him, though as he decides to take notice of the competition, she too finally notices. There's two young men that look to be about the the same in age and maturity as Grimmjow (of course Grimmjow is old as dirt as far as we know, but he looks young enough. Hehe). She watches as one of the boys mount a dark thoroughbred mare. Cider smirks, and she teases Ichigo, "Listen now... you may be Ogichi's horse now, but don't you go acting like you've got no sense any more. Don't let em get to ya if their in heat, that is unless you're weaker than I ever imagined." She narrows her eyes, the grin still plastered to her face, daring Ichigo to try and object.
As Grimmjow confirms he can jump onto Kurogane if close enough, that's all Akira needs to hear. She sweeps around in a wide U-turn to face the foal on the other side as he flicks his dark tail like an excited cat. Suddenly, the mare lunges forward, and she watches as Kurogane does his casual prance as if to meet Akira. "He's about to try and do it again, be ready," she informs Grimmjow as she reads the body language and patterns the coal exhibits. She strides forward as if to tackle her son, knowing he'll evade. And so Kurogane does. The mouse gray colt suddenly jerks right with a new speed. However, he doesn't get away. He's knocked down, but unharmed, as a familiar set of masculine hands grab hold tight onto his body, thus ending the game of tag. Kurogane lays there, a tad stunned by the fact that they were able to catch him. A minute later, as Grimmjow tells him the game is over, he snorts at his mother's rider. He reaches forward and nibbles at the shoulder of Grimmjow's shirt, but the friendly gesture stops as he suddenly hears a group of three squaling voices that make him want to lash out for some odd reason. Akira looks towards the source as well, and there at the side of the pen are the two Grimmjow was trying to avoid plus May. They all sport awed expressions, and may has a little grin on her face. Akira lets out a sight as she appears beside Grimmjow. "Looks like you've been discovered," she mutters.
With the three girls, they all gawk in awe with rosy cheeks as Grimmjow moves expertly. "I'm so jealous of you, May!" Ino whines. "You had this guy at your house the last two days!" "Ha! If she couldn't get his attention in two days, there's nothing to be jealous about," the pink haired cowgirl responds to the blonde.
All the while, May ignores them up onto the colt is caught. The leap was so cat-like, and she found it so extremely attractive. When they are finally noticed, as she, Ino, and Sakura all cheered for Grimmjow's capturing the colt, she muffles the cheering, and it becomes a low giggle. Well, they've been noticed. Why not try to talk to him before he can worm his way out. "You're so talented, Grimmjow!" She cries.
Akira pins her ears slightly at May. To be honest, as nice as she is, she's kinda annoying her with her stalkerish ways, and Kurogane picks up onhis mothers displeasure as well. he shows more obvious discontent as he snorts and stomps the ground with his hoof as he's never really trusted her. Fortuntely, May stops before she gets too close.
"Kurogane is such a pretty little foal," she coos to the little guy, watching him with an eager smile. A minute later, the other two join her. Grimmjow isn't allowed to get away, not by Akira. She figures why not let him talk, and if they get too close, a nasty bite ont he hand or hoof to the chest will stop them.
"Your mare is so pretty too!" Sakura chimes, staring at the glorious, pure-white hano mare beside Grimmjow. "How much did you pay to get her?"
Kouga indeed watches as Kyo and Erza are presented with an award. Once they leave the arena, he shouts to em, "Make sure Ichigo and Cider know you've won," with a mischievous grin. Still, at the mention of being up soon, Kouga nods. "Do you need any more warming up? or are you able to go now? I don't know when we're going in the order, but there doesn't seem to be many dressage competitors, so it shouldn't take too long no?" Indeed, it takes 5 minutes to replace the hurdles with... well nothing. xD Kouga looks out as the stage is set for their own chance to compete. "We can't let Kyo and Erza show us up, can we? I say we go win ourselves some first place stuff as well." He smirks to hism mare and girlfriend. "What say you to that?" He runs a hand along her neck as he decides they should head to the gates soon so they can find out when they go. After all, he's illiterate, and so is she as a horse.
Kyo meanwhile prances into the ring once more, not to speed over hurdles, but to collect the trophy. It's shiney with a polished marble base, golden rod, and at the top is the depiction of a horse just pushing itself up into a jump. He snorts out happily and tosses his head and rings his tail as he proudly announces his feat. Sure, it's not anything spectacular as he doubts he'll ever be a horse again, but to thing he learned to walk two days ago only to take gold in a competition makes him very proud. As they head back to the trailer for a drink, he bobs his head in a nod. 'Getting all this equipment off for the last time would be so nice," he tells her. He's never liked hte saddle on his back. he just put up with it. Like Ichigo, he almost inhales the water at the trough.

Ichigo nickers out a chuckle as Cider so excitedly exclaims just how well they'll do. He's got this thing in the bag. He hasn't seen any horses taller than he, and not many are as tall as his 17 hand self. None the less, if he could he'd let his jaw drop to the ground at Cider's harmless tease. Despite that he knows that he's just giving him a hard time, he can't help but find himself baffled. Him? Give into an animalistic yearn for a mare in heat? How long did it take him to finally have sex with Cider? And she's his girlfriend. "I'd never! Come on Cider," he whines her way, embarrassed. As I expect Cider to find this reaction at least a little amusing, he snorts before deciding to throw the comment right back at her. "Then don't you go hitting on any guy," he tries to tease back in his still embarrassed state. Still, as one of the guys rides his mare, he tilts his head, "I wonder where he's off to?" A mere thought of curiosity and nothing more.
Grimmjow in the mean time stands in order to let Kurogane onto his hooves. However, he winces as he hears the girly cheers that come his way. What? When and how did they find him? "Son of a bitch," he mutters to Akira as she comes to him and warns him about the company. As she's close, he takes the lead line off of her saddle and rehooks it to Kurogane's halter as to allow a little bit of freedom but not too much. He can already tell that the colt doesn't like May nor her friends. As they approach Grimmjow, Akira and Kurogane, he sighs again mentally cursing once more. As the girl comes closer, he can't help but think, 'shit, what's the girl's name? Maline? Marcy? Maybaline? Mason? Wait that last one is a fucking guy's name! May! Her name is May!' After a quick mental pat on the back, he realizes the girl is talking to him. "Uhh...Thanks, May," he shrugs out, "Akira did all of the running though". Like the good horse owner he should be, and simply acting as a friend should, he places a hand on her neck as he gives her credit. His blue eyes land on the pink haired girl's smaller frame and raises a brow. Like hell he's gonna try to remember her name from the last world he's seen her. "Thanks. I didn't buy her; she was given to me by my father," that's the quickest and easiest excuse he can think of at the moment. "Why?" Seriously, why would she care how much he got for her even if he DID buy her?
Yurei in the mean time smiles to Kouga and bobs her head in agreement to blow the competition away and get first place by far. As he suggests that they head to the gates to see when they're up, she again agrees, "That sounds like a good idea actually". When they are at the gates and once they've found out then they're up to play, she stands with Kouga in wait, ears perked and eyes attentive. Just to keep things flowing along, I'll continue on to when it's their turn unless you just wanna do more senseless babbling. Once Kouga is up and ready to go, they head into the empty ring and reach the middle point of it, which is their starting point. It's only when signaled to, that she begins her little dance for the people around them. As is what's usual, she starts off with a simple trot around the ring twice to show off her nice gate and Kouga's well done posture of sitting pretty. Once that's done, she moves into more complicated steps such as enlongated strides while trotting or slow cantering with certain timed strides. She trots in place here or there before moving along into side stepping or wide stepping across the ring. At the end of their little dance, she's sweating a bit, seeing as keeping the timing correct and making the right movements is actually a lot of hard work for a long period of time. After they're out of the ring she sighs. Her heart is beating way too fast in her opinion.
Erza chuckles to Kouga as she hears his shout, "We might just do that!" It's partially up to Kyo though what they do next. She can't just force her opinion on him after all. None the less, she nods to Kyo's agreeing about taking off the tack. She gets to work right away, undoing the girth and sliding off the saddle before putting both away. She gently interrupts his drinking just to take off the bridle and put a harness on instead, both actions done rather quickly as to not make him wait. After putting the trophy away, she goes on ahead to give Kyo's fur a quick but nice brush down, getting rid of what sweat and ruffled fur she can. By the time she's done I figure Kyo is done with his drink. "So, what do you wanna do? Go boast to Ichigo and Cider? Or maybe watch Kouga and Yurei blow away the competition like we did?"

Indeed, his reaction elicits a giggle from Cider. "Uh, uh, m'name's Ogichi here." She smirks at him, knowing that surely Ogichi is having fun with this himself though she hasn't checked on her favorite sorta make shift gay (though not gay) best friend. "Besides, you're a horse now... I don't know where those stallion hormones are a stronger than humans." She lets out a laugh as the teasing is turned on her. "What guys? The only one I see here is you." SHould he point out the two human riders, both of which having looked her way once or twice, Cider shrugs. "They look like girly men to me," she chimes. "I like my men tall with awesome hair color, dark eyes, and a kick ass butcher blade for a weapon. Hell, a little sadism here or there ain't a problem with me." She winks at her stud of a horse before she too looks as the one male rider takes off. She watches him, and it becomes obvious that he's merely warming up his mare a touch and getting her accustomed to the field. "Maybe we should borrow their idea. Why not make a few laps around the track to keep you warmed up. We have a few hours until the big race after all.
Despite her resolve to put up with the antics of their host and her friends, Akira doesn't find herself liking being talked about like property. Though she's not happy, she tries to play along. As a hand touches her neck, it does help to relax her a little, though she won't say it. The skin shiveres where she felt Grimmjow's hand, and she returns the gesture with slight pressure against his hand.
May still continues to beam at Grimmjow even after he gave Akira her rightful credit. "She may have been moving mostly, but you're the one to have jumped and captured that crazy foal."
Akira tenses again. Odd... Why doesn't she use Akira or Kurogane's names? Surely she's away, as our host, that she and Kurogane can fully understand her. What pisses her off even more is what happens next as Sakura doesn't get any correction from May.
Say pink-haired girl replies to Grimmjow with, "Because she's gorgeous, why else? I've been searching for horse, and she'd be perfect!" She steps forward, looking at Akira with a critical eye. "Will you ever be looking to sell her?" This is said as her eyes turn towards Grimmjow. They're big, and shimmering with the hope of finding a horse like Akira.
Ino likewise says, "Hey, yea! I want a horse from where she's from too!" After all, what's Ino and Sakura with out some sort of rivalry? She looks just as cutesy and hopeful towards Grimmjow. "Where did you dad get her? Or could you do me a favor and breed her again so I can get a baby out of her."
"Oh, that's a great idea!" Sakura says excitedly. "Mister," she steps closer, her body almost against his as she leans up to get those puppy dog eyes in his face. "I can pay for everything.
Meanwhile, May watches as the girls struggle to decide whether they want to fawn over AKira's beauty, the adorable Kurogane, or the outright gorgeous Grimmjow. After a while of them begging Grimmjow to have 'his mare' bred to get foals for Sakura and Ino. She says nothing in Akira or Grimmjow's defense. She merely watches as Grimmjow tries to deal with two fan girls that try their darndest to flirt with him. Eventually, May adds just as a tease since she doesn't understand the depth of displeasure Akira is feeling right now, and she sounds completely serious, "Why not just sell me the colt? He likes the farm it seems, after all..." She winks at Grimmjow. As she spoke, Sakura was gathering courage. She starts to lift a hand, as if to reach for Grimmjow's face. Likewise, May walks towards Kurogane, confident that he'll be a good boy. How mistaken she is.
Akira has had enough of these girls talking about her and her son like they down. Before Sakura's hand can reach Grimmjow's face, it's caught in a nasty grip in Akira's mouth. Of course, the mare doesn't stop there. After she swung her head to snap at Sakura, and actually managing to break skin on her arm, Akira rears up and knocks Sakura and Ino both to the ground. She didn't hit them with enough force to do more than bruise them, and the mare swings around to May, eyes livid as she sees that wretched girl about to touch her son. Fortunately for her, Kurogane decided the same thing. He struggles to get away, and in his panic, he lands a nasty kick to the May's stomach. As a foal, the damage wound up being having the air knocked out of her, and later, one of the worst bruises one could imagine. Akira's relief is brief as suddenly she is faced witht he "wrath" of Sakura.
After a little whimpering at the sudden attack, and a bunch of wondering about why this horse hates her when all animals love her, Sakira's shock and embarrasment is replaced with anger and embarresment. "Stupid horse!" She cries as she scrambls to her feet and slams her foot into Akira's fore leg. Akira won't admit that that actually hurt really bad as it hit right on the knee.
Kouga walks with Yurei, leading her by reigns on her harness towards the man by the gate. He questions the man only to, as you said, up next for the dressage competition. Kouga mounts Yurei with ease, and he quickly recalls all she had taught her. He maintains his posture the entire duration of their run. He lets her moved, keeping the reigns still since you want minimal obviously commands anyways. He observes as Yurei did everything they rehearsed as well as she always has. If this is anything like the show jumping competition, they should be able to dominate the competition. In the end of it all, he exits the gate and immediately dismounts to praise his lovely mare and girlfriend. "You were perfect, Yurei!" he says with an excited grin. "I don't know how they determine how we did, but I think that we should be able to easily place at least, no? And his suspicions are confirmed as the others show off their own dressage stuff. Let's say for the sake of diversity that these two win silver instead of gold in the end as we have no others needing to go for the dressage competition.
Kyo's opinioin is centered around his body begging for a drink. He lets Erza take his stuff off, and he says, "Let's get water, then we can go wave the trophy in Cider and Ichigo's face." He nudges Erza to see if she agrees with him or otherwise. Still, he stands to have his fur brushed. It honestly feels really nice. As a dragon, he usually wouldn't be able to feel such a pleasurable sensation. Still, once she's done with helping Kyo to wind down, the stallion decides, "Let's go rub it in Ichigo and Cider's faces."

"I'll keep myself in check," he assures all the same. Ichigo huffs out a sigh through his nose as Cider easily lets the comment slide off her back as though it were water on duck feathers. He has no come back, seeing as if he says he doesn't see anyone like that here, he'll of proved her right. Still, as she suggests doing a few laps he bobs his head enthusiastically. Being one who loves running more than the average horse- which is saying a lot- he's always happy to go for a lope any where it seems. "I can't say no to that," he tells her. Unfortunately doing so in front of those that aren't friends but instead rivals means that he can't go all out just yet. A shame really. Once Cider's up and stable, he lets her lead him to an opening towards the tracks. The footing feels better on his hooves than he thought it'd be; they take really good of the track here it seems. Once Cider has him where she wants him to start, he paws at the ground below him until she gives him the okay. And when she does, it takes everything he has not to just burst out at full speed. He has to constantly remind himself that he needs to save it for the actual race. Just like the first time they ran together, the connection between their minds allows him to share with her the feeling of this track under his hooves and just how much his feet are loving it.
Grimmjow in the mean time is not at all as happy as Ichigo and Cider may be. In fact, he's down right annoyed. Borderline pissed off in fact. "I'm not telling you anything about where my father got her, for one," he tells Sakura as she coos over Akira. "She's not an object, she's a horse and she is my friend. Both she and that 'crazy foal' have names. They're Akira and Kurogane; if you can't wrap your minds around that little fact, then go away". However as the rival duo continue to press and as Sakura decides to get more gutsy, he's just about to deck the three of them into next year. "I'm not breeding her; she's not some 'baby machine' I can just constantly breed all the time. And I sure as hell ain't selling her. And fuck selling Kurogane to you, May," oh, these girls are really pushing him now. However, it's Akira's temper that breaks first, going so far as to bite the arm that leads to the hand that wants to touch his face and pulling it away. He does nothing as Akira pushes pinky and dumb blonde down with her hooves and with aggression. However as Sakura goes so far as to kick Akria, his blue eyes are filled with a fiery rage. Where's a guy's Hollow powers when he needs them damn it!! "Who the fuck do you think you are?!" He demands of Sakura as a hand reaches forward and balls itself in her shirt, picking her up off her feet so only her toes touch. "How dare you kick Akira? She's not stupid! In fact, she's smart for snapping at you while I was holding back!" Oh how he'd love to snap her little neck; just a simple movement is all that's needed. He forces her back onto her feet, releasing Kurogane as to allow him to make her walk backwards. He looks to May, "And you, you little slut. Did you really think I didn't know what you've been trying to do? Please, even a brick could see how badly you'd love to get into my pants while trying to sell Akira and Kurogane!(apparently Ichigo is dumber than a brick when it comes to this stuff....Not that we didn't know that XD)You know what? Fuck you!" He pushes Sakura back further, releasing her as he does so. "Get the fuck out of here!" Should the girls be gone by the time he's done yelling, he glares their way and then turns to look Akira over. The blue fire in his eyes is still very much alive and still very eagerly looking for blood to be spilled. However, he'll go hunting or something to take care of that. Maybe find some drunk and beat the shit out of him. For now he has Akira to check on, "Are you alright?"
Yurei beams to Kouga as she makes sure that there's no one to hear her talk back to him. She sniffles his hairline as a sign of affection as many animals tend to do to one another, and keeps her ears perked. "You did wonderfully out there too, Kouga! We'll definitely place for sure!" She's very proud of their work, even if it was just a bunch of trouncing around. Never the less, she listens up for the placements once everyone has shown off what they can do. In the end, they're given a silver trophy as opposed to gold, looking not unlike the one Erza and Kyo had won not too long ago. With a white marble base and silver rod, at the top there's simply a horse regally standing with a rider just as regally sitting with perfect posture. "Second! Not first but we were still awesome!" Yurei beams to her rider with a happy but short whiny.
Erza in the mean time nods as Kyo suggests that they go show off to the rival duo that had gone against them but not placed in the jumping portion of the show. "I don't mind showing those powerhouses how awesome we are at all," she tells him before taking his lead line and walking through the crowd. As they look for Ichigo and Cider, Erza passes people who here and there congratulate Kyo and her for their wonderful performance earlier, remembering them as the gold winners. She, happy with the praise of course thanks them, telling them that Kyo did most of the work and that it was just all timing on her part. Because to her that's all it really was. Sure she turned timing and riding in general into a complex art, but that complex art pulled through for them. It's not until they come upon the race track in thoughts that Ichigo and Cider might be there that she does see them. However they're warming up by now. Seeing Ichigo race passed her and Kyo as they stand behind the railing with such grace and power is something she can't help but marvel over. She knows that the two still have their mental link going on. And it's because of this, she wonders what it's like to share such a feeling caused by running so intimately.

Cider smiles at Ichigo, letting him feel with her mind how triumphant she feels for winning their little... Well it's not a spat anywho. XD Still, as it's worth mentioning that Grimmjow fit most of that description. Only thing distinguishing him are his blue eyes, and yes, cider finds that to be a deal breaker. XD when Ichigo agrees to keep the light laps around the track to keep loose, Cider beams. "Great!" Cider says. With a single fluid motion, Cider swings herself into his saddle. "Win or lose, I'm just eager to have you human again." She leans forward as she says this, whispering as to not let others hear. "But for now, let's ride." She sits up and braces for Ichigo to start moving. She doesn't care to race the others. She just wants something easy to do, and this was ideal. "You'll give me a piggy back ride some time later, right?" She suddenly insists as though they've discussed this before. Either way, she smiles wide as she finally gets a nice breeze through her hair as Ichigo starts to glide over the track like a ghost.
All the while, my three girls experience fear like they've never experienced ever before. Sakura whimpers as she's suddenly grabbed by Grimmjow. Wide teal eyes stay on his as she's forced to back up. For all she knew, this nut job could kill her the way he reacted! There are no words from any of my girls. Ino was in the dirt quivering until Kurogane got brave and did what he did. May is he only one to speak, but it's an empty threat as she cries out, "Damnit! I'll contact the Witch and tell it that you were a complete ass, you damned monster!" With tears brimming, she and the other two retreat from the scene.
Akira is honestly surprised when Grimmjow got so pissed off at her being injured. Sure, they've become friends, but it's still a surprise to see such an extreme reaction. Akira watches as Sakura is pushed out with May following and trying in vain to get him to let got of her friend. She snorts at the idle threat. The Witch likely knows, and she'll also know how May tried to splinter the group with her human hormones and thought if selling off the lot of them. Still, she snorts in amusement as Kirogane looks to Ino who remained pitifully in the dirt. He stomps a hoof beside her, and the girl cringes. "Get moving you terrible child," she tells Ino, and she watches as wide eyes widen even more. Again, Ino won't respond as she doesn't know what to say. As far as she's concerned, she is just becoming schizophrenic. Still, as the girls are shooed off, Akira turns her attention to her knee. It throbs from the kick but she feels fine. She tests it out as she picks her way over the pasture to meet Grimmjow half way. It's certainly not unbearable. As Grimmjow asks, Akira nudges her nose against his shoulder. "I'm fine, thanks, Grimmjow." She could of handled it herself, but she thoroughly appreciates it all the same. The mare looks him over, and since we can likely see him looking pissed off still, Akira says, "Take that anger of yours out on cattle when we do our thing, and well have an easy win." It's a light tease. In all reality, she's aware that it likely won't help. Still, she looks to Kurogane as he eagerly welcomes Grimmjow back with a sniff and a "Grimmjow!" Akira thinks aloud, "Do we need to find ya some way to vent?" Regardless, Akira hears the speakers call for all cattle herding competitors to gather, and she says, "Lets get this over with."
Of course, Kouga has to say, "I just looked pretty. You did all the moving around and deciding what to do." He sighs as an arm wraps around her neck "Regardless, I'd say we did super well." He grins at her, and with a kiss to the nose, he adds, "I love you." He can't get enough of saying that. In the end, they receive second place. All Kouga cares about is that he got a nice shiny trophy out of some ten competitors. He'll take that, lol. Still, once they're away from the crowd, Kouga easily chimes with a "Yep! Aren't you excited!" He kisses her nose again. "Let's get this nonsense off of you and a drink for ya. Surely you're thirsty." Let's have these guys run into May at the trailer, shall wel? Unless you have objections, Kouga arrives to see a sobbing Sakura with a nasty arm and a shaking May. Kouga's eyes widened. "Ah hell..." He approaches May, and he asks, "What happened here? You look so terrified?" They're told, "That damned mare of Grimmjow's attacked our friend for no reason! And he wouldn't let us fight back or anything!"
All the while, Kyo is receiving attention from mares, and they're gladly returned. He more so pays attention to them than looks for Ichigo and Cider. Though as the number of horses, and therefore mares, thinned out, he became more focused. At the track, he spots Cider and Ichigo as they face lightly over the track. Both look to be thoroughly enjoying their game of racing, and he can't help but watch. Naturally they'll dominate the face by the look of joy on their faces. The looks they had while jumping doesn't compare. Still, he says, "If we can get noticed, make sure you wave that trophy around mercilessly. Let them feel the sting of a loss. of course it's a fun as he doesn't mean ill will towards his fellow world jumpers.

"I can't wait to have a human body either," he tells her honestly, missing the feeling of having two male feet. As she suddenly insists that she get a piggy back ride, he blanches, "When did I ever offer you one in the first place?" Though it's not like when she actually asks for one that he'll be able to turn her adorable self down I think there's nothing much more we can say about Ichigo and Cider for the time being, seeing as all they're doing is staying warmed up and having fun running. So,I think I'll let them be until race time actually happens.
"Go right on ahead, cunt, it already knows how much of an ass I am! And it doesn't give a flying fuck like I don't!!" Grimmjow in the mean time doesn't give a fuck about how they see him now. Hell, he'd rather they hate him than see him as a piece of meat they can fuck. Still, as Akira tests out her leg and as Kurogane greets him with a call of his name, he places a hand on the colt's neck. Honestly, he wasn't expecting himself to be so pissed either. Just majorly annoyed. However when Sakura kicked Akira, something else completely came over him. He supposes that seeing as the theory is that he was a cowboy while alive, that he had a deep love for horses. And as Akira is a horse for now, her being harmed and treated like property woke up that sleeping emotion in him. However as the minutes pass by, that emotion is dying down. "I'll be fine," he tells Akira after smirking a bit at her little joke. Still, he too hears the call for those looking to heard the cattle, and he swiftly mounts the mare and takes a hold of Kurogane's lead rope. "Let's get this over with indeed".
Yurei bobs her head as Kouga grins and beams to her as though he had just won instead of gotten second. She's happy to see him so proud of himself by the looks of things. "We did do awesome out there," she agrees with him as he settles for such a statement after insisting she did all the work. "I love you too," she all too gladly tells him, nosing his cheek once doesn't have a hold of her face so that she may do just that. "Water and no tack sounds like an awesome idea," she tells him with another bob and lets him lead the way as mentioned. However as they come up on Sakura and May, her ears flick back. Why is the girl crying? She looks like she was bit by something. However as May explains what happened, her ears pin further back onto her head. Grimmjow let Akira attack someone? And then he supported her? Akira wouldn't attack anyone for no reason. And even Grimmjow has at least a little control. Seeing that Sakura is near by, she positions herself to seem like she's nibbling on Kouga's shirt. However in reality she's whispering into his ear, "Ask if either of them seemed annoyed and just what exactly May and her friend were doing before the attack". Were they saying something bad about Kurogane? Because that's a sure fire way to get you hurt in Akira's book.
Erza keeps her eye on the blood chestnut and his girlfriend/rider as they continue down the track, letting Kyo pay attention to the mares like the horny stallion he is. However as he suggests what he does, she nods and when the duo comes around she raises up the trophy and waves it proudly. However after the second time of them seemingly ignoring her, she sighs. "Looks like they're having too much fun running," she tells her stallion friend.

I'm happy to leave them be too. XD
As for Akira and Kurogane, the colt happily accepts Grimmjow's touch, and a soft whinny is given to Grimmjow. Akira scoffs as Grimmjow insists he will be fine. "If you say so, my dear rider." Still, at the mention of the competition, she beckons to Grimmjow, "C'mon, I'll carry you up to the pen." Whether he climbs up of not, Akira walks with him and her son back towards the arena. The pen they're using for herding is much larger than the other. It provides ample room to maneuver. In the ring are three angus cross heifers doing their thing and being cows. The goal is to move them as a single unit into a pen that leads who knows where. Let's say these two will go last. Their competition in this one seems stiff, as they seems to get cattle into the pens fairly fast. It worries Akira a little because she wants to win. Still, she trusts Grimmjow's instincts as a cowboy. She's normally an ass when bossed around, but ah decides that behaving and working towards winning is the least she could do for his leaping to her side. Still, once it's their turn, Akira is at the gate ready to go. She looks over he shoulder to Grimmjow and bobs her head lightly to show she's ready. The moment the gate bursts forth, Akira explodes out of the gate and responds to Grimmjow's commands with speed. The tag game with her son gave her the needed loosening up of some me shivering abilities that allow her to keep the three heifers from scattering.
As far as with Kouga and May, Kouga watches with concern. Of course, he leads Yurei to a nearby post to hold her while he takes off all equipment and replaces the harness for a simple halter and lead. As he does this, he's listening to May, and his brow furrows. He hears Yurei, and promptly says, "I know Grimmjow and Akira, his 'mare' as you like to call her. Neither aim to hurt you with out reason. What did you say? Did you do? Did you say something about Kurogane? Akira will go apeshit if you even think about hurting him."
May shakes her head. "All I said is that his m- that Akira was beautiful, and so was Kurogane!" She blows her nose into a random tissue before continuing. "We were so scared! Ino had to be taken to psych ward cause she was saying horses could talk!" The people around her and Sakura look sympathetically towards their precious May.
Kouga raises a brow. "Ok, so if I went to Grimmjow after his competition, he'd tell me that he let Akira attack because he wanted to?" He gets no answer. May averts her gaze as she cries out, "You don't believe me!" As if that pity act would work on this dense fool. XD
I think ima leave Erza and Kyo alone as well. Not much to say as Kyo would suggest they wait out for the race. After, he doe elf know of he drama back at the trailer.

Grimmjow nods once and they make it to the pen that they'll be working in, he lightly loops Kurogane's lead rope around a post to show that he's not some colt who got free of a trailer or anything. "Cheer us on, brat," he tells Kurogane as he and Akira go to stand in wait for their turn. As Akira turns to him and gives a single bob of her head, he nods back in kind. There is a cool look in his gaze as opposed to the fire that had been there not too long ago. And the look on his face has become the stone hard look of an experienced how herder. As they're given the okay, he holds onto the horn of the saddle as Akira bursts forward, warmed up and ready to go. There are only three heifers that they have to take care of, however there's two things that must be done in this sort of game. One, successfully cutting a cow from the heard. And two, getting all heifers into a smaller pen in or under a certain amount of time. The cows are stubborn, not wanting to move and tired of being used as foreplay. However, Grimmjow won't be having any of that, and leads Akira into quickly and efficiently cutting the most white one from her sisters. When the cut can be officially acknowledged, he lets the cow return to her small heard and gets to work on step two. The easier of the two deeds. Getting them to move forward is the hard part, but it happens soon enough and with enough aggressive pushing. It's only once everyone is in the pen that the time is called and their deed is done. I'll let you decide what they get XD.
Seeing as Yurei figures she's far enough away now that she's at a post to be untacked- which she loves the feeling of, it's like pulling your hair out of a pony tail after having it up for a whole very long day- she scoffs and stomps a hoof. What pitiful acting. "Of course we don't believe her," she mutters for only Kouga to hear. "We should go ask him when he's done his competition; whether she wants us to or not doesn't matter".

Well, our last power houses flopped so... Why not let our two here succeed? Akira and Grimmjow manage to do all they need to under the amount of time of the others. Between Grimmjow's leadership and Akira taking no shit from someone's future steak, they take the good for themselves. Akira can't help but prance and whinny in celebration as they're announced winners and provided with a trophy similar to Kyo and Erza's. Though the top piece is depicted as a young bovine calf instead of a jumping horse. Akira prances her way out of the arena as they to greet her son to eagerly returns the affection. After the celebration, she looks to Grimmjow. "They announced for everyone to go to the race track. That's the last one... Shall we make our way over there now?" She happily carries her rider all the way to the field if he agrees to it. She will be fine with out water. They're time in this world is almost over, and she's excited about it. She can be a human again!
Kouga starts to brush her down. He's not thorough. No it's a very quick job on his part, but it gets done. With her main and tail and coat all brushed out, Kouga hears the announcement for the race to round out the day. "Sounds like they're going to be done really soon," he says. "Let's go down to watch Ichigo and cider. I'd imagine the others will be there as well. Also..." He looks over to the dramatic tween girls, "they're kind of pissing me off. Wanna get away before I strangle their sorry selves." Assuming she agrees, he takes the lead and walks casually with his mare and girlfriend down to the pretty green track where Kyo and Erza already seem to be. Let's say that they arrive before Grimmjow and Akira. They park themselves beside Erza and Kyo, or Kouga does at least; and he says to them, "Are you cheering for Ichigoa and Cider or someone else?" He himself will be cheering for anyone but Ichigo just cause. XD
Kyo as mentioned is already down there with Erza . He watches as more horses gather and warm up for the final competition of the day. As they're joined by Kouga and Yurei, the dragon mutters; "We kicked his ass last competition. Might as well cheer Ichigo and Cider on now." As Grimmjow, Akira, and Kurogane hopefully join them, he greets them with a bob of his head.
Cider and Ichigo rest maybe ten minutes prior to the start of the race so Ichigo can catch his breathe once more. Hell need all the strength, speed, and stamina he can save up. As they draw near to the start time, every rider is given a number. Cider is number 5 out of 8 riders, and the number is on her back. They get into the start box that has her number and wait. Cider lifts herself off the saddle and leans forward. "Do your best, Ichigo," she says in the final moments before the race. Once the boxes are opened, cider holds onto the saddle horn with one of her hands while the other holds her reigns. She uses their mental link to this him instead of the reigns as she looks for openings to squeeze past competitors. It's a tight race, and one even loses his control on his horse. I'll let you decide the outcome of the race.

Grimmjow smirks the whole while Akira whinnies their victory to all who can hear. He of course takes the trophy with pride and a pat to Akira's neck. As they're greeted by a happy Kurogane, he chuckles at the colt obviously in a much better mood than before they did their run. He unhitches Kurogane from the post he tied him to and agrees, "Then let's get to watching Kurosaki and Cider run in a giant oval". That's his way of agreeing to go watch the last duo take their second try at getting a placement. Though like Kouga, he'll be cheering against them just simply because he can. They're the last of the noncompeting duos to arrive. And he gladly dismounts from Akira's back and takes on Kyo's free side. "They didn't take off yet did they?"
"I don't blame ya," Yurei agrees with Kouga as he mentions wannting to shut the stupid girls up. "I kind of wanna put a hoof to each of their heads. Maybe they'll be in too much pain to cry about it". Her ears flick back as she says this, showing her own annoyance to her lover. From her spot next to Kouga, having agreed to head on over to the track, she shakes her head towards Grimmjow. "You would have heard a lot of hooves if they had," she tells him. Which reminds her, "By the way, what happened with May and her pink haired friend?"
Grimmjow grunts as he answers, "The bitch thought I didn't realize that she was trying to get into my pants, for one. Two, her little friends were either trying to get me to sell or breed Akira, or sell Kurogane to May simply because they enjoyed how both of them looked. Pinky was also trying to get into my pants. Akira had enough and bit pinky. Pinky kicked Akira, I made Pinky back up and yelled at them and then they ran away". Simple as that basically.
Over with our racers, Ichigo forces his horse mind to realize that the starting gate is not closed forever, nor is it dangerous for him. That takes a couple seconds as he admittingly rears a little bit once caged in and lets out a whinny, but once he has his mind about him he's fine. "I got this," he tells Cider in turn as she speaks to him. When the bell rings and the gate opens, he breaks forward like all the others, pining for a spot in the line up. However, the race is multiple laps, long- it being an endurance race- and therefore he can't go all out just yet. The struggle is a long one, with jockies and horses closely packed just to either get to or stay in their spots. However after one and a half laps, Cider helps guide him into a spot that they can't pass up. He squeezes his large frame passed the others. And this opening is what gives them the gold, let's say since they didn't place at all last time. As soon as he takes that opening, it gives him a second one and then a third until he's placed into second place. And when he knows that he can really get ahead, he tells Cider, "Give me my head; lax the reigns completely and just hang on for the ride". Knowing she'll do so, and when she does, he really lets his endurance be turned into speed. With a grunt and a snort, He pushes forward, by passing the current mare in front and gaining more and more distance as they go. His hooves seem to barely touch the ground as they ghost around the corner and head for the final lap. By then, he's a good eight furlongs ahead of the others. A rather large lead for a race like this. When they pass the finish line putting them in first, he goes for another quarter lap in order to slow himself down. His chest heaves as he slows down, mouth open as to let more air into his lungs even as he only breathes in and out his nose.
